Volli Via Camillo Cavour Reviews
My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this magnificent restaurant, and I'd say we were lucky! It was a magical experience, with excellent, refined food and attention to detail, and truly friendly and impeccable service, attentive to the diners' needs. I recommend it to anyone who wants to be pampered with food, good wine, and genuine people.
Amazing room. Wonderful service. The food is absolutely outstanding! This place is The Place. We had to leave to catch a train and had to rush out. Our fault completely and so sad that we didn’t savor dessert or cafe. Simply amazing meal that makes me smile in remembrance. Gracious and elegant. Will return every time in Asti.
Very pleasant ambiance, top service, and excellent food. I was surprised by the professional and well-mannered service. The food is in no way inferior to award-winning cuisine. The value for money is definitely right, and the wine list is top-notch.
A truly special restaurant in the heart of Asti. The setting, with vaulted arches and exposed brick, creates a welcoming yet elegant atmosphere, with meticulous attention to every detail. The service is impeccable: the staff is friendly, attentive, and professional. The cuisine is excellent, with carefully prepared dishes and authentic flavors, accompanied by a truly remarkable wine selection. An experience that combines taste, refinement, and hospitality. Highly recommended!
A refined place with a cozy atmosphere. Excellent service, very friendly waitress. Wonderful food with an elegant and beautiful presentation. We tried the Fagottini and Ravioli Gobbi dishes, and for dessert we had the Tarte and Coffee, please!!! Everything was delicious! I highly recommend it!
Stunning location... impeccable service in the dining room, attentive to the smallest details... what can I say about the dishes: every single ingredient was evident on the palate. Refined and delicious cuisine, compliments to the kitchen staff... Thank you for the delicious lunch.
Amazing experience. Great value for such a world class tasting menu. Thank you!
Gorgeous Restaurant, in a centuries old building. Staff first class professional, friendly, and accommodating! Food outstanding! Chef in compete control. Sous hard working and concentrated , a joy to watch thru the open kitchen. Quality/ cost completely in order. Loved it
A very refined and elegant restaurant in the historic center of Asti. The open kitchen offers diners the opportunity to watch the dishes being prepared, which are pure art! Compliments to the chef and the entire kitchen! Excellent service. I highly recommend this restaurant. The food is top-notch. ❤
To my 22,000 readers, the Asti Christmas market isn't worth the trip! What's worth a trip to Asti, however, is the "Volli restaurant" by chef Marco Toso, which takes its name from the famous quote by Asti native V. Alfieri: "I wanted, and I always wanted, I wanted very strongly." The refined atmosphere features fine exposed brick vaults and exposed sections of the ancient walls. Modern furnishings. The kitchen is open. The dishes, as the chef describes them, are traditionally creative, and the attention to detail is obsessive. The wine cellar is well-stocked with local and national labels. Prices are absolutely in line with the restaurant's standard. I can't recommend any particular dish because everything we tried was truly exceptional, delicate, and a delight for the palate. The dining room is managed by Chiara, the chef's girlfriend, who empathetically accompanied us on this journey of flavors. The chef is an exquisitely simple and attentive person, and at the end of the meal, she wanted to hear our impressions. Volli, in my humble opinion and after trying Michelin-starred restaurants, is well on its way to earning its first Michelin star. You just have to want it....Volli, and I always wanted it, I wanted it so badly. Congratulations. We'll definitely be back. I recommend parking in Piazza Campo del Palio.
The restaurant is very stylish furnished and in a beautiful vault. The food was class and super tasty. I hope to be back soon.
one step beyond!! 👏👏chef Toso!
Amazing! A very recently opened restaurant, but with excellent reviews. This historic venue has been beautifully renovated, welcoming, and intimate. The kitchen is open to the public. Superlative dishes at very reasonable prices, many of which are seafood-based. Ask for advice on the very interesting off-menu dishes. The overall quality is worthy of a Michelin-starred restaurant! The owners and staff are very friendly and welcoming.
Beautiful location with exposed brick ceilings. The kitchen opens onto the dining room. Two tasting menus and an à la carte menu. Dishes are impeccably presented and of good quality. The wine cellar is well-stocked with various regional and international labels. Unfortunately, parking is a problem as the restaurant is located in the city center. Prices are moderately high. Attentive and friendly staff. Service is very slow.
