Burra-tà Via Cesare Da Sesto Reviews
We stopped there on our first night in the area. Great food and drink. We were the only one's in there but we were there earlier than most as we'd been travelling all day so it was quite.
It is a great experience. In my view a bit pricey for the area, but nevertheless a good restaurant. We usually get the bombette after the burrata tasting, and thats generally a safe bet, but hard to fail on any other plates.
Amazing! You feel to be brought directly in South Italy. Food is perfect and soup are delighting you tongue. 5 star are not enough to celebrate this restaurant.
We both had a great salad, piled high (naturally) with excellent mozzarella and served with nice olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
Hand-made mozzarella directly in the shop so more than fresh. All its variances (nodino, fior di latte, treccia, burrata) done with the original "pugliese" legacy and heritage. Stop by for a great pasta with mozzarella as main ingredient or take some of it with you to eat at home.
Staff are nice, food from what me and my friends got was pretty average. 6€ for the beers is overpriced
Burra-tå seemed to be a good choice, but unfortunately did not live up to the expectations. The service was slow and poor, and food was under par. The bread we got was old and stale, and we had to ask for both plates and olive oil. The main course we had two different pastas, where one of them was quite tasteless, and the other okay. Atmosphere was good, but quite loud.
Food was good, but organisation and a management is a complete chaos! We booked a table for a small business-dinner. Initially, basing on information from the website and Google I called to book for a table at 18:00. I was informed that the kitchen opens at 19:00. Ok, let it be 19:00 (we shift it 1 hour). When we got to the place I was informed that we cannot eat anything hot, because the kitchen opens at 20:00!!! We could order only cold food. What they brought us was good (little overpriced IMHO), but there were no veggie options in the menu (I had to ask for it, as a special request). We asked for wine card- there is no wine card LOL. Wine card was presented to us like verbally, while people I was with speak no Italian. No non-ancoholic drinks and a poor options for non-wine beverages. Also, no menu for the dessert- everything presented verbally by the waiter (in Italian) LOL. Like in those typical, local, cheap trattorias, the thing is it wasn’t that cheap. Long story short- a big shame and bad impression. I brought people there to show show them Puglia cuisine, but it tuned out a big shame. They brought me into a big confusion
