Il Nido del Falco Via Dei Francesi Reviews
Renè is a guarantee! We've eaten there several times, but the last time was for my grandparents' wedding anniversary. Very hospitable, and the food was delicious, as always.
The ingredients are top-quality, creating dishes with an authentic and genuine flavor. The owner's welcome is warm and attentive, making you feel immediately at ease. The atmosphere is cozy and intimate, perfect for a relaxing dinner. The atmosphere is meticulously crafted, creating a pleasant and satisfying experience. I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a quality culinary experience.
I discovered this fantastic trattoria about three years ago, and today I finally returned with some friends, and it did not disappoint. Very attentive service and delicious food. We had a trio of first courses: pumpkin tortelli, campusei, and maccheroncini with stew sauce. For the second course, sirloin in olive oil with baked potatoes and caponata, delicious and a must-try. Finally, for dessert, a delicious sbrisolona cake, served in a very original way in little jars, soaked in coffee and topped with vanilla ice cream. By the end, we were truly full and happy. The portions were more than adequate, and the price was fair: we spent about €34 each (including four glasses of wine, two coffees, and six bottles of water). The owner, Renè, is incredibly friendly and always ready to offer excellent recommendations on wine and dishes. Highly recommended!
Fabulous place, recommended by Alessandro of DeLax B&B, two minutes away. The dishes are made with fresh, local ingredients, flavorful yet delicate, a true balance of flavors. The meat is top-notch. The owner and chef, René, is incredibly kind and friendly. The overall experience was truly pleasant and welcoming; we'll be back.
Great food! Went here for our authentic Solferino food. Owner/chef was great. I don’t know any Italian but we made it through. Recommend anyone visiting Solferino to have dinner here.
Outdoor seating, excellent cured meats appetizer, including a culatello that filled the table with its aroma even though we were outside. Excellent tortelli amari, homemade pasta, and a typical aromatic filling. The lamb chops were excellent, large and meaty.
We stumbled upon this small but extremely comfortable trattoria by chance. Despite short notice, we were warmly welcomed by the owner and staff, who pampered us throughout the dinner. The attentive service and customer care were impeccable. When it comes to food, you'll find only guaranteed goodies here, and you won't be able to stop. We tried the pike as an appetizer and were pleasantly surprised; the flavor was truly spectacular. For the second course, we sampled the (typical) stew and lamb ribs. Highlighting the quality of the ingredients and the artistry of the cooking was all we could do, truly unsurpassed in my opinion. At the end of the dinner, we were able to chat a bit with Renè and his wife, who proved to be truly special people. Highly recommended, I'll be back as soon as possible. (No photos, we'd already eaten everything.) 😅
We were there in July 2024. The welcome was very friendly and the atmosphere was family-friendly. We ordered the sirloin René-style and lamb chops. The sirloin was absolutely amazing, and the chops were very good, complemented by delicious polenta. The side dishes were also delicious: pan-fried green beans with butter and potatoes. We had the sbrisolona with gelato, a tiramisu-style dessert with gelato, and that too was amazing in its freshness and flavor. The bread was also warm and crunchy. Good wine selection. Affordable prices. Nice atmosphere. Highly recommended if you're in the area, it's worth a visit even if you have to spend a little longer.
SUPER! Small trattoria with a limited number of dishes on the menu but all the proposals are truly special: both the braised beef with polenta and the sirloin René style (both horse meat) are excellent, the pike is excellent, the desserts are exquisite. Everything you eat and drink here is the fruit of the territory, if you love sweet and sour you will be spoiled here (from the mustard to the sauces that accompany the appetizers), the wine list is rich enough and offers high quality bottles at more than affordable prices. Even the bread included in the cover charge is good and crunchy!!! The owner is something extra, the place is so beautiful and welcoming that you can forgive the fact that it has an outside toilet. Absolutely worth trying!
An excellent experience at this small trattoria, boasting excellent food and a great atmosphere. All the dishes were truly excellent, but the ones with the stew deserve special mention. I also highly recommend the rib-eye steak. The owner, René, is truly an extraordinary person, with his warmth and eloquence. The place isn't huge, but it's well-decorated and rustic. If you're in the area, I recommend stopping for a bite to eat.
Sublime! At least all we tried: wine, salame, tortelli di zucca and controfiletto. One tastier and better than the other. Add the nice ambiance and the exquisite hospitality, what else can you ask? Ah yes, a reasonable bill. Very recommended, but make sure to reserve, tables are limited.
I had dinner with some friends at this charming trattoria in the center of town, and it was worth it. The appetizers were generous and high-quality, with a selection of cured meats. I recommend the sirloin steak, a true delight. The owner is a wonderful host, attentive to his guests' needs. We'll definitely be back.
I had an excellent experience at Trattoria della Pace. The restaurant is located inside a small courtyard, so much so that entering by car is not very convenient but not overly difficult either. You enter through a small door that goes down a couple of steps. Inside, the atmosphere is very welcoming and the place is not very large, which I appreciate. The lights are dim and the soft piano music in the background creates a nice relaxing atmosphere that puts you at ease. I have been there several times, trying both first and second courses. Everything is excellent, there is not a single thing missing, even when it comes to drinks. If you ask the very kind staff, they will be able to advise you properly. The prices are normal and affordable.
Simple yet amazing food. One of my all-time favorite restaurants. René manages to capture the essence of Italian cuisine at an unbelievable price.
Excelent place with the local food. Dont expect menu with milions of varieties, but limited number of excelent delicious local dishes!
