Petit Gourmet Via Innocenzo V Reviews
A sensory experience at the foot of Mont Blanc – Le Petit Gourmet (La Salle) Entering Le Petit Gourmet is like crossing the threshold of a high-altitude refuge where elegance meets authenticity. The restaurant, meticulously crafted with touches of Alpine design and an intimate, welcoming atmosphere, immediately invites you to relax and savor the moment. The culinary journey was simply impeccable. The risotto with prawns and zucchini flowers is a masterpiece of balance between delicacy and intensity, served with a presentation worthy of a work of art. The bites with beetroot cream and aromatic herbs are surprising for their freshness and creativity, while the selection of local cheeses—accompanied by artisanal jam and currants—is a true celebration of the region. Each dish is a symphony of colors, aromas, and flavors, meticulously crafted, and perfectly paired with a glass of expertly selected wine. The service is friendly, never intrusive, with a touch of mountain kindness that makes you feel at home. A restaurant worth not only a visit, but a return. Highly recommended for those seeking an authentic and refined culinary experience, nestled in one of the most evocative landscapes of the Valdigne.
Tried on 12/01/2025. Fantastic location in the heart of the charming village of Le Salle. Knowledgeable staff. Wonderful Fassona knife tartare with béarnaise sauce and chopped pistachios. Excellent old-fashioned crepe with fontina cheese and cooked ham on asparagus cream. Incredible yellowfin tuna cubes on a bed of passion fruit mousse. Delicious tiramisu. Excellent local pinot noir. Price slightly above average. Absolutely recommended.

Great service in a cozy small restaurant. The food was excellent, good raw ingredients very well cooked and with some innovative and very clever touches. Delicious wine and desserts as well. I highly recomend taking a detour to make a stop here.

Petit Gourmet is a truly delightful little restaurant. The atmosphere is beautifully decorated, welcoming and pleasant, and the staff is extremely kind and attentive. I ate a truly excellent selection of cheeses, followed by polenta taragna with cheese, tasty and well-made, just like the ones they used to make. To conclude, the exceptional Sardinian tiramisu, one of the best desserts I've tasted recently. An intimate and refined place where you can enjoy a delicious and relaxing meal. Highly recommended!
This restaurant was recommended to us and overall lived up to our expectations. From the moment you enter, you're immediately struck by the attention to detail, the welcoming and pleasant location, with a lovely mountain atmosphere. The cuisine is good, with a selection of truly high-quality cheeses, beautifully presented and tasty. The polenta was appreciated, especially the taragna polenta with fontina, although we personally found it a bit too runny for our liking. The tiramisu was also good, classic and well-executed. Overall, a positive experience, and I recommend this place, especially for the ambiance and the quality of the ingredients.

We had dinner here a few days ago. We had fish and tagliata. We had read the reviews before going here and had great expectations. Though one noticed the chef was a great cook (in all the little details) he/she probably didn’t have a good day. The fish with peperonisauce was rather flat in taste. The tagliata was very good and tasty but not warm enough which really was a pity. Because of this they reduced the bill with €4, which was a nice gesture. The spongy white bread looked and tasted like bread from the supermarket, the dark bread was good. Over all it was not so bad but given the high prices we had expected a little more.
The food is OK, but really nothing special. However prices are ridiculously high. 20Eur for a small cardo gobbo flan, and 22 for some average crespelle con prosciutto e formaggio is a rip off. We ended up spending a fortune on a pretty standard meal.
Good! But tourist trap! We went 4 times and each time we paid a different price for the same cocktails… if we asked for the menu card, we had to pay less and when we didn't ask for it, they suddenly charged more 🙄
