Tip: Try the bun samosa and chai combo from 3-5 pm for a nostalgic experience. If you prefer less sweet chaat, ask them to put less sweet chutney.

Pizza Capri Via Leonida Bissolati Reviews
Chaat House, Sunnyvale is my go-to place whenever I’m craving Indian food outside. I absolutely love the food, the service, and the overall vibe of the place. I usually order Chole Bhature, and it never disappoints—flavorful, fresh, and very satisfying. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic Indian street-style food in the area.
Great food. Most places have reduced stuffing in parathas and made them smaller. But here the parathas are filled well and taste great. Chaat is tasty but some may be a tad sweet for some but you can always ask them to put less sweet chutney I suppose (not sure if it works but worth asking). Downside is that tables are a bit dirty and you need to clean them... Not a big deal but experience would be better if used tables were cleaned after customers left.
Long overdue review. This place has been feeding me wholesome comfort North Indian food for 15 years. Highly recommend their house thali, channa bhatura and all chaat items
This place has become my go-to spot for Indian comfort food this year. They’ve got a huge variety from snacks to full meals, and in my experience, everything’s been consistently good. I usually go for the dahi papdi chaat when I want something cold and refreshing or the chaat samosa if I’m craving something warm. The house thali is amazing with a lot of variety when I want more of a meal. The place is simple, clean, cafeteria-style setup. It’s nothing fancy, but the food’s worth it. Service is quick. Parking is easy. Prices are pretty reasonable.
I have been in here often. The food is top notch. It's all vegetarian. The taste is very homely. The portion size for the thaali and other dishes is reasonable. One interesting thing is the bun samosa and chai combo everyday from 3 - 5 pm. The bun samosa makes me nostalgic.
Loved Chaat Samosa, Dahi Puri and masala chai. Vegetable cutlet is the only one that I didn't like. Service was very quick. Carry cash if you are going to spend less than 10$. Credit card is accepted only for orders above 10$.
We were three people who dined here for lunch . Chaat combo with three different chaats (bhel , dahi balla and samosa chole) for 19.99 was worth it except that the ragda was bland . The other two chaat items were tasty . The 13.99 combo thali had several small portioned dishes , each dish had its own flavor and delicious. All the dishes in the thali were spot on with taste and non greasy . I would definitely go back here for the thali .
Chaat House has the cutest homely interior with old school TVs playing old Bollywood movies. You have a view of the cooks working hard in the kitchen and there is a very casual vibe. The cashiers and workers are really kind m, but they do not go above and beyond in any way. I usually get takeout of the rotis and a mango lassi. The prices for the rotis are quite cheap which I appreciate. $6.50 for 10 rotis. Talk about a deal! The rotis are soft and authentic, and this is quite visible when you first look at the roti. The rotis are of decent size and they remain fresh in their aluminum foil. For a delicious dessert I usually get a mango lassi as well. The mango lassi is a bit more expensive at $4 per drink. The mango lassi comes cold and tastes tart and fresh! OVERALL, the food for the price is very fresh and tasty, so I definitely recommend this joint to others as a causal place to dine. I will definitely be coming again when I get cravings for some refreshing mango lassi and soft roti!
Decent joint for some street style chaat items. The decor of the place will remind you of a neighbourhood restaurant in India. They also old Indian songs inside. The taste of the aloo tikki chaat was nice. But there were big chunks of ginger and some uncooked crunchy pieces in it which ruined the texture.
One of the preferred places in Bay Area for Indian dishes. They have really good north Indian items (parantha, chana bhatura) and a few gravies we’ve tried. Overall, it has been our default place for a year now. Their service is also quite good. They promptly serve more items when asked and that makes me go to them repeatedly. They also have an offer to get 5 chapati on 2 gravy during weekdays. Their chapati is also homely. Definitely would recommend the place.
An old player when it comes to vegetarian North Indian food. They had a very homely mom and pop store vibe and old Hindi songs playing in the background. I wasn’t that impressed by the food sadly. Portion sizes were also small. We got the following: 1. Malai kofta curry - the curry itself was nice but the kofta didn’t really taste good. Also there were just two or three small koftas in this curry. 2. The pani puri/gol gappa/puchka - around 7 small puchkas served with imli water that was Really Good! I wish they had served more puchkas. Also came with black chana, onions and boiled potatoes. Pity that portion size was meager. Ive given them three stars just for that imli water. 3. Aalu tikki chaat with channa - could barely see the aalu tikki. It was mostly channa and onions. Seemed pretty sad tbh. Wont recommend. Other places serve bigger quantities for the price. Don’t really want to go back.
DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY AT THIS PLACE. I ordered aloo paratha first I got the food in minutes but steaming hot don’t know how but when I tasted the paratha it was bland no taste no salt even the curd was sour I told the person about it but he looked like he didn’t care. Then I ordered paav bhaji because the aloo paratha was not eatable because who would like to eat tasteless food. I have attached a picture of paav bhaji that they served, it looked like no efforts was made while making the food this place should shut down the business. Stop fooling people to make money.
We ordered take out on Friday night. We got Punjabi kadhi, vegetable kurma and basmati rice. Not only was the food old and stale, they added so much oil to keep it fresh or whatever. Our bag was leaking of oil from all the dishes. Even the basmati rice had such unreasonable amount of oil. We didn’t eat any of the food we ordered and it was a total waste of money. Bit pricey for such terrible food
I drove for 20mins to pickup my order and this is what I saw when I opened the boxes. I rang the restaurant and the guy gave me some excuse about container size. Also, their chole(chick pea)weren’t fully cooked. These people are thieves. Will not ever order it again from them. Go to chaat bhavan their portions are bigger and food is better than these guys.
