Beautiful refuge, excellent food, great views, and an excellent experience. The refuge managers and staff are attentive and helpful. Everything was delicious, from starters to dessert.

Spectacular!!! Beautiful refuge, beautiful hike in a fantastic setting (climbed from Lizzola with a panoramic tour). But the kindness and helpfulness of all the staff was truly top-notch 🔝 👏👏👏 Congratulations, we'll come back and see it all covered in snow 😍

A perfect day to visit this enchanting refuge, where you can breathe in a beautiful mountain atmosphere. Excellent food, cooked and served with care, a stunning location, the refuge is well-organized and clean, and the staff clearly puts a lot of love and passion into it. Kind, hospitable, friendly, and very helpful. Overall, a great experience, one we'll repeat soon!

A warm welcome from the chairlift departure point to the refuge. The trip to Lake Spigorel was complicated by inaccurate signage and old mountain trails ruined by ski runs. We ended up with young children on some exposed sections of the Sentiero delle Orobie.

The experience was worth the climb, the welcome and friendliness first and foremost, not to mention the food. For me, as a celiac, it was a real pleasure to find quality, gluten-free food, but the icing on the cake was the buckwheat cake with jam... delicious. For us celiacs, finding so much for 2000 meters is a challenge, but when you're in the city... what can I say... a fantastic experience ❤️ thanks to all the staff. Susanna

The Mirtillo refuge is undoubtedly the reward after a long and tiring hike from Lizzola. Unfortunately, my husband and I had packed lunches, so at the refuge we only had two coffees, two slices of strudel, two bombardini, and still water. Everything was delicious and served with courtesy, which is why I gave all the stars in my review; the entire staff deserves it. Finally, I really appreciated the fact that my dog was welcomed like a guest with biscuits, which she promptly enjoyed. Well done guys 🐶🔝

I spent the weekend with friends at the refuge, sleeping in a dormitory. It was a wonderful experience, and I recommend it to everyone. I'll definitely be back, even in the winter when it snows. Breathtaking views, excellent, high-quality food (especially the homemade cakes), very kind staff and owner, and impeccably clean dormitory and bathroom.

Fantastic experience! The staff is super friendly and welcoming! Very helpful and friendly, the food is spectacular! I highly recommend the polenta with cheese and mushrooms. The guys who run it are super nice!

I want to thank to all team that gave us a great day. Good food ( we ate grilled meat, drank one bottle of prosecco, sweets, coffee, liquor all were costed 48 euro) . There was a band called Orobians and they made us dance with the songs from old times. And the staff was really kind and fast to serve. Congratulations for making Lizzola an alive place 👏👏👏

We reached the refuge starting from Tezzi Alta, in Gandellino, taking the planned 2.5-hour walk. The landscapes are varied, but very, very scenic. The route isn't difficult, but it is challenging. Our destination was the refuge. We ordered a snack. The two toasted sandwiches were large and we thought they were the best we'd had so far, and were well-stocked with local vegetables and cheese. Homemade cake, delicious. It's a shame we didn't have time for lunch, because the menu was well-stocked. I used the bathroom, and it was well-organized and clean. Kudos to the guys who are running it and to the future super super mom!

Merely awesome! One of the best mountain retreat I've ever been at. They also spill out HB beer! What could you ask more? Highly suggested!!! They were also grilling meat directly there🍗🍗

The refuge is beautiful, with a lovely view of the Seriana Valley, and the food is delicious if you stop for lunch; an excellent choice for a moderately demanding trek.

I hate it when you arrive at a refuge and want to sit down after a hike, but you can't because you find an empty table with a reservation. Remove the "refuge" sign and put "restaurant" there... I couldn't rate the food or anything else because someone who absolutely had to take the chairlift surely did so...
