A perfect day to visit this enchanting refuge, where you can breathe in a beautiful mountain atmosphere. Excellent food, cooked and served with care, a stunning location, the refuge is well-organized and clean, and the staff clearly puts a lot of love and passion into it. A warm welcome from the chairlift departure point to the refuge. The trip to Lake Spigorel was complicated by inaccurate signage and old mountain trails ruined by ski runs. We ended up with young children on some exposed sections of the Sentiero delle Orobie.

The experience was worth the climb, the welcome and friendliness first and foremost, not to mention the food. For me, as a celiac, it was a real pleasure to find quality, gluten-free food, but the icing on the cake was the buckwheat cake with jam... delicious. For us celiacs, finding so much for 2000 meters is a challenge, but when you're in the city... what can I say... a fantastic experience ❤️ thanks to all the staff. Susanna

The Mirtillo refuge is undoubtedly the reward after a long and tiring hike from Lizzola. Unfortunately, my husband and I had packed lunches, so at the refuge we only had two coffees, two slices of strudel, two bombardini, and still water. Everything was delicious and served with courtesy, which is why I gave all the stars in my review; the entire staff deserves it. Finally, I really appreciated the fact that my dog ​​was welcomed like a guest with biscuits, which she promptly enjoyed. Well done guys 🐶🔝
