Ca'Melia Via Milite Ignoto Reviews
A pleasant restaurant in the picturesque village of Cavi, where you'll find friendly service (with special mention to Aurora) and exquisite dishes, including a wide selection of both Ligurian classics and unique recipes. The seafood taglierini are delicious, and the fish main courses and desserts are also excellent. The price is reasonable. Highly recommended!!!
Really simple food, fresh tasty and good portions with pasta dishes. Very good house vine
A wonderful little restaurant tucked away in a quiet side street. Beautifully decorated, cozy atmosphere, and a warm, welcoming team! Thank you to the amazing staff for making us feel right at home! We came back several evenings in a row and were blown away each time: fresh seafood pasta, perfect pizza, crisp salads, delicious desserts, and a great selection of Italian wines. Everything was made with care and attention and special requests were happily accommodated. The value for money is excellent, and the overall experience was just perfect. If you're in Cavi Lavagna and looking for a place close to the sea with real Italian charm, this is a must-visit! 🇮🇹🍝🦐🍕🍷🌊
Absolutely amazing Italian food. We stumbled upon this place by chance, and I’m so glad we did. Everything we ordered was seriously delicious — you can tell they use fresh, high-quality ingredients, and the flavors were just spot on. The pasta was perfectly cooked (like actually al dente, not mushy like some places), and the sauce tasted homemade, rich, and comforting. We also had pizza and focaccia — honestly, no notes. The vibe of the restaurant is cozy and unpretentious. Service was friendly, attentive but not overbearing. It just felt like they genuinely cared that we were enjoying ourselves. I don’t usually leave reviews, but this place deserves the shoutout.
Best restaurant in Liguria. We tried many good restaurants but here all in our big family had magnificent taste experiences and we came back, and back, and back
Food was magnifico and the staff was super friendly and kind
Waiter very well and good service from her, appreciate her, thank you
We enjoyed an excellent dinner at Camelia. The host was very welcoming, and the food and drinks were absolutely delicious and decently priced. Many locals seem to have this place as their choice, which tells a lot. The grilled octopus and grilled calamari were outstanding.
Nothing but good things to say about this lovely restaurant in Cavi di Lavagna, an idyllic village between Lavagna and Sestri Levante. The menu is varied, from pizza to frittura di pesce mista (paranza), the quality very good. Highlights if you have a sweet tooth like me: panna cotta al cioccolato and torta al cioccolato. I cannot comment on the price as I was invited!
Great Pizza! You should try the Apple Pie, the best I had for a long Time. Comfy Location and great service!
The food was amazing , hugely recommended, the staff were also really helpful and very polite and great to see the family run business thriving , will fly back to visit again.
The food was AMAZING, the freshest and most delicious pesto I have ever had!!! The veggies were incredibly fresh, the focaccia was incredible, and it was like having dinner with the whole amazing Italian family!!

Ordered take-away because my girlfriend wasn’t feeling well. Pizza was good, foccacia was OK, but the €5 mixed salad consisted of two sliced cherry tomatoes, ten or so rocket leaves and three red onion rings.
Nice place, service can be improved
Our experience at this restaurant was a tale of two meals—one exceptional, the other deeply disappointing. The first visit was outstanding. The octopus was so tender my toddler could eat it with ease, the pizza was so good my older son asked for seconds, and the grilled fish was juicy and flavorful. It was easily one of the best meals we had in Italy. But the second time around felt like an entirely different restaurant. The same octopus dish came out as dry, over-grilled tentacle ends that were tough to chew. The pizza was average, lacking the seasoning and balance of our first visit. And to make matters worse, we waited over an hour for the food to arrive. We returned expecting consistency, but instead, the drop in quality and care was hard to ignore.
Our 6 week vacation in Chiavari...Lavagna has been great. Sadly our lunch yesterday at Camelia was marred buy the lack of service and an inept waiter who was absent. After a great greeting by the owner the hospitality disappeared. Glowing comments for the food which was inventive and delicious. Had we had a waiter for our €100 lunch it would have been memorable. We attempted to message the owner direct but they have blocked messages though they using social media.
Bufflo cheese Pizza was wet and soggy. Waiter said thats how its served. Lol... Clam soup had mussles and only a few clams. Again waiter said we serve ckam soup with mussles but menu says class. Unbelievable.
