Ferro e Pietra pizzeria Via Napoli Reviews
I went for pizza this evening with friends from the gym; we opted for the pool tour. Truly an endless variety of pizzas, each one better than the last. Quality, fresh ingredients. A truly varied selection of pizzas and pinsas; we ate really well and drank well, too. Excellent beers. The staff is always cheerful, professional, and knowledgeable. Truly a pizzeria with a capital P. Highly recommended. Stefano
The very friendly and knowledgeable staff helped me choose from the many gluten-free options. I went in for a pizza, and ended up having a completely gluten-free Recco-style focaccia (with cheese), with pesto and ham: one of the best things I've had in Genoa. They have a wide selection of gluten-free beers. The dining room is cool (air-conditioned), and the bathroom is spotless and well-equipped. The photo speaks for itself. Beer, focaccia (with plenty of toppings), and coffee cost me just over twenty.
We would definitely recommend this restaurant. The food was delicious, and there are numerous pizza options you can choose from. Also, the service was fantastic, and we thoroughly enjoyed the cozy atmosphere. We will certainly visit Pizzeria Ferro e Pietra again!
Really enjoyed the food and drink here. Friendly service.
Great pizza for both eating in and delivery. Super friendly staff and lovely owner. We will be back!
Best pizza in Genoa! Extremely friendly owner and staff - highly recommend!
We had a Proper Genova pizza experience here. I think I won with my pizza which featured walnut and pear. Delicious red wine! Very much enjoyed our family time here.
Very friendly staff. Delicious Pizza. Great Atmosphere
Excelent pizza and service
Nice place to eat, I can recomend it
We went for a couple of pizzas and beers and were very impressed. Very friendly staff, delicious pizza and good choice of beer. Very highly recommended.
Newly managed pizzeria (after years of closure), youthful, much more dynamic and enterprising than the previous ones, as they had the courage not only to renovate the place but also to expand it by acquiring a former adjacent shop. In the renovation they brought back the exposed stone, eliminating the plaster, thus giving the place an old look but with modern lighting and furnishings. Great effort, also economic, which deserves applause. Even the pizzas are out of the ordinary, starting with the long and natural leavening dough, extra large format suitable for hungry young people, for those on a diet or unable to finish it, you can ask to box up what you have left. First choice ingredients abundantly fill the pizzas of every variety. Allow me a suggestion for my fairly standard tastes: reduce the size, preferring a pizza that is a little higher and softer. In any case, a place to try and support for the courage it had in investing in a neighborhood with good development possibilities but currently lacking in services. Ps: after the pizza try the delicious melon.

A welcoming, newly opened restaurant located at the beginning of Via Ugo Bassi...it's truly beautiful inside, as they've retained the stone walls that give it the raw feel a pizzeria deserves, while also incorporating some modern details. As for the pizzas, I have to say they're truly excellent: the dough is leavened properly, they're thin, and they have a wide variety of toppings. The prices are average for all pizzerias. The service was fast and accurate. The only downside I can find is the desserts, which I'd say definitely need updating... The Sicilian cannoli had a soft, not crispy crust, and the Catalan cream was completely cold. Overall, I recommend it!
Introduction: Beautiful and welcoming place, not overly large, but that (for me) is a plus. Very kind, smiling, and courteous waitresses (two young women). We had dinner this evening (Easter Monday) with my husband and son. Quick service, but the pizzas my husband and I had were too flavorful and quite salty. I had a Pesto: there was so much pesto on top that the other flavors completely disappeared. My husband had a Ferro e Pietra, which was too salty (...maybe it was the anchovies' fault, who knows!). The desserts (a babbà and a sfogliatella) were too cold from the fridge. The prices are a little higher than average, but I'd say that's due to the ingredients they use. Maybe I'll go back to see if I can give it 5 stars another time. For now, I'm giving it a slightly low rating.
Good food, nothing to complain about. However, the staff was extremely rude and unhelpful. I was contacted several times to pay a deposit for a reservation for 17 people in the days leading up to the dinner (the deposit was only €10/20). Once we arrived, many minutes passed before we were given the table settings. We were brought pieces of farinata, which we ate on a placemat without a plate. When it came to cutting the cake, I was told we had to choose between having the cake cut or taking two bottles, and therefore, they would cut the cake for us. The end result was that we took the bottles and no one cut the cake for us, so we had to do it ourselves. When it came to coffee, we were told we had to consume it quickly because they were closing (it was 11 pm). Good pizza, I repeat, but extremely rude staff.
It was a Sunday evening, and I ordered a pizza. Aside from the incredibly rude order taker, who snorted when I changed my mind about the pizza, I spent €17, including €13 for the pizza, €2 for shipping, and €2 for a drink. The €13 for the pizza was obviously because they were clever and added extras starting from the smaller base (€2.50 for sausage for literally three pieces, €2.50 buys me half a kilo of sausage—truly embarrassing). The worst part is that the pizza arrived wrong, and in the end, the guy, who was so smug and incredibly rude, even got the ingredients wrong! That said, the pizza was mediocre and definitely not €13, and it was half cold and unseasoned to boot. This is literally making fun of people, and I'm deeply disappointed.
After a year of ordering pizzas from you, I can confirm that I'm not satisfied. The €4 supplement for the standard pizza is excessive, the dough is extremely salty, and there's too much mozzarella, which then arrives cold (it's an 8-minute ride away). On the last pizza, the potatoes were raw and the pizza was very cold. This pizza was cold, and the potatoes were burnt (you could taste it). I didn't finish it. €16.30. We're not in the center of Rome. For €16.30, a pizza should be made properly, at least arrive hot. It's been the same experience for a year. At least I'm sure of what I write!
