Caffè nero a metà Via - Rue Croix-de-ville Reviews
great lunch had carbonara pasta great local wine and great staff
The staff were incredibly friendly, the food was truly excellent, and the menu had a wide variety of choices. I'd go back to try other dishes! I had the Argentinean BBQ swordfish, which was divine, and my parents had two smashburgers, which were also very good. The Crème Brulee was also good.
The food was very good, but the 5 stars are mostly due to the kindness of the staff: the two blonde girls welcomed us with a smile and were super friendly (it's hard to find young, helpful people these days). The sandwiches and arrosticini were very good. Kudos to the fries, which aren't frozen ones, but taste like homemade ones. The girls also recommended beers to go with the dishes. Congratulations!
I went to Sorso Birra e Cucina with a friend and the experience couldn't have been better. We were greeted with great kindness from the start and the atmosphere is simply incredible: welcoming, well decorated, and with background music at the perfect volume, allowing you to enjoy your meal and chat peacefully. For starters, we shared an Autunnale tartare, absolutely delicious. For main courses, we opted for pasta alla carbonara and amatriciana — both incredible! The pasta was perfectly cooked and made with guanciale, as is the tradition for true Italian pasta. You can feel the care and authenticity in every detail. To finish on a high note, the dessert was the surprising Birramissu, a version of tiramisu made with dark beer. Simply perfect! A special thank you to dear Cecília, who served us with great attention and kindness throughout the meal. Grazie! 🇮🇹✨ I will definitely return.

Fantastic people, great atmosphere, very good beer 🍺 and food. Thank you
Kudos to all the staff! For the attention, care, and inspiration behind the dishes, it seems like they're all owners of the place, given how positive our experience was! I especially thank the waitress, who was so thoughtful in serving the little girl first and then taking our dishes with ease. This almost never happens in other places; she was attentive throughout the dinner, making the evening even more enjoyable. Her colleague was also very attentive and elegant in his service and in specifying off-menu items. Overall, we felt welcomed, thank you! For the food, in addition to the little girl's tomato pasta, we tried the burgers and cacio e pepe fries. Everything was delicious, and as I said before, you could sense the attention, care, and desire to experiment. Usually, Roman fusion can be truly terrible, but the way you reinvented the dishes was magnificent. Yes, this review isn't for future customers, but to thank you for the dinner. You went above and beyond, keep it up!
Best beef burger that I had for a long time. Absolutely delicious. Meat well cooked and juicy. Fries with skin on were great, too. Everything presented well on the plate. 👌🏻 Great tunes in the background give that extra bit to enjoy your food even more. Service was fantastic, and I can't fault them at all. Well done guys. 👌🏻
My boyfriend and I went for lunch without a reservation for an occasion. We ate very well, and the beers were good. They recommended a caramel Christmas beer (good, you have to like the sweetness, of course). The staff was super friendly. Recommended if you're stopping in Aosta and looking for a good place to eat.
We were greeted by a young and very welcoming staff, who were very attentive and professional during service. The menu is limited but of high quality and caters to a variety of dietary needs. Their selection of craft beers is very interesting. I highly recommend it; if you're in Aosta, stop by for a meal.
I was here with a fairly large group. We were quite satisfied! The staff is very kind and helpful. The atmosphere is quite welcoming. The food was good, the vegetable ragù wasn't very tasty, but I was told the other dishes were good :D They have a couple of vegetarian options, and even a friend with celiac disease was able to eat with ease!
very average
I had a breaded chicken sandwich, but I saw very little chicken. As you can see from the attached photo. A very thin, dry slice covered in more breading than meat: I basically ate bread with bread. If this was supposed to be the main course, it's better to call it a bread sandwich. Total disappointment. Answer: I gave one star to the service for a reason. I found the waitress unwilling to understand my requests; in fact, she kept contradicting me, so no, it's not a punitive attitude. And can I say? Didn't the person who made the sandwich see how that chicken was arranged? That it was an indecent thing to eat? It didn't turn out the way it did on my plate.
