Costadoro Piazza Giovanni Xxiii Reviews
Only had drinks here, if you enjoy your beers/ales pay this place a visit, they have loads of different beers to choose from. Really friendly welcoming bar man, had good chats with us about all the different beers. All reasonably priced for craft
Beautiful setting in a small square over looking the Roman ruins and the mountain as the back drop. Beer was unbelievable with lots to try and rate. All 10/10 for me. Menu and food was varied with staple pastas which were delicious- try the hybrid - carbonara meets amatriciana - 10/10. The burgers were a hit with the other tables so check them out as well. Booking online was super easy and worth doing. Gutted to not have long in the city to try other things on the menu. Great for summer or ski trips.
Great beers themed around music. Great service and a lovely location.
Amazing food at affordable prices. Friendly staff and great beers. Good atmosphere. Would come back. I had a Japanese steak. Tasty and hearty.
A micro brewery and restaurant in the middle of Aosta. Lovely food, excellent beer and a beautiful setting. We found it by accident on lunchtime when walking through Aosta. It's off the main street so much more peaceful than some of the other restaurants. The outside dining area is in a traffic free square next to some Roman remains and perfect for a quiet lunch.
burger was delicious reasonability prices and well made. Nice variety of niche brewery beers, service was friendly and effective
Craft beer and good Italian food at reasonable prices
"I had a craft beer and pasta lunch at 63, which had a great atmosphere and location. However, I was a bit unsure about the cover charge per head as it seemed to take away from the overall experience for me. On the positive side, the pasta was delicious and enjoyable. 🤔👍🍺 Overall, it was a good experience with some feedback for improvement."
Place is nice, there are always many people because of the beers which are really good and own production. Service could be better and sometimes it's very slow but this is once again because of the people. I like going there, it's relaxing and perfect for a chat with friends.
Amazing terrasse with live band. Very charming with sun set. A nice lounge on one side and restaurant on th other side of the garden. Great plate with Aost meet and cheese. Very good salad and the filet piece of beef was very tender and tasty. Children had spaghetti with beef ragout and the other with duck ragout which they loved. Nice people serving and a very good Atmosphere. Of course we had a great weather. Place to go on a warm evening.
low quality kitchen for the main dishes, quite a small beer choice but good ambience on terrace
I really wanted to finish our Aosta experience on a high note. TL;DR - staff does not pay attention to customers with empty beer glasses for almost half an hour. We arrived reasonably full already, however, there was still room for a burger and a couple of beers. The menu is a qr code, that leads to a website that is supposedly in several languages. None of the translations work, it is always in italian and there are no photos of the dishes. Google translate also refused to translate the site for some reason. So we ordered beers and I started copypasting the dishes in the google translate manually, to see what was available. The beers came quickly. As we were drinking them, we had made our minds and chosen a burger and some dish the couple nex to us were having (could not find it in the menu, so was going to ask the waiter). However, no one came. I tried making eye contact and waving, but no avail. Tables around us were getting lots of attention, some more, some less. We sat there with wmpty glasses for more than 20 minutes, until we changed our minds. I went to the bar, we paid and left. Which is a shame, as the food looked and smelled amazing. I have never ever before spent 20 minutes with an empty glass in a bar! Maybe that is normal in Italy, don't know - but normally almost as soon as the glass is empty, someone gets the glass and asks whether to get another one. On the plus side, the beer and chees were good.
Not friendly, for a brewery they focus on food in the evening and turned us away when we just wanted a beer. Not a great look for a 'brewery'. However, the beer is good and it's a nice place to have a beer when they decide to serve one
Beer was nice, staff didn't feel very welcoming. There was no English menu and I don't think the staff spoke English either (at least our waitress barely did). We were told the WiFi was online for the staff, even though there were too WiFi networks with their name active. We wanted to have food as well, but decided to go elsewhere. Perfectly fine to go and have some nice surprising beers, but don't expect too much friendliness.
