Davvero complimenti.

Rilassante location e staff gentilissimo.

Consigliatissimo!

Ambiente caldo e tradizionale, personale professionale e molto gentile. Piatti curati, sapori semplici.

Late in the evening, when Rome muffles its voices and the streets around Porta Pia already wear that velvety half-darkness in which the day itself forgets, we found our way to Trattoria Coriolano. It wasn’t an arrival with fanfare and fuss, more a quiet slipping-in—and precisely for that reason the first gesture landed all the more clearly: before you’ve truly taken your seat, a greeting arrives from the kitchen. Not as decorative politeness, but as a promise: here they cook because they mean it. Then the beef Agnus tartare—a dish that can fail so easily, because it’s often crushed beneath salt, acid, heat, or theatrics. Not here. It carried an almost aristocratic restraint: no over-seasoning, no demonstrative spectacle, no “too much” that obscures the essential core. Instead, a tartare that not only preserved the taste of the meat, but bore it in a particular, very lucid way—as if it had simply been given room to unfold. A quiet, concentrated astonishment at the table: this is how simplicity can taste when it’s guided with precision. After that, the pasta alla carbonara—truly, truly outstanding: creamy without heaviness, comforting without fatigue, with that balance of egg yolk, cheese, and pepper that doesn’t need to be loud to possess authority. If I may add one note: for my taste, the guanciale pieces could have been a touch larger—less a correction than a personal wish for a little more bite and presence. But even that stays in the realm of fine-tuning; the dish as a whole had that rare coherence you don’t analyze so much as simply enjoy. The service was excellent: attentive but never intrusive, warm without tipping into forced chumminess—professional in the best sense, as if they understood that hospitality is an art decided by timing and tone. The bread was a relief, not merely a side-dish ritual but something you break with gratitude because it consoles and accompanies. And the atmosphere: beautiful. Not primped and portentous, but with that Roman matter-of-factness in which elegance isn’t displayed—it’s breathed.

Beautifully decorated trattoria. The bruschetta, the saltimbocca and the thinly sliced potatoes as a side dish were delicious. The staff were nice, the service excellent. Would gladly go there again. Thank you!

We were visiting Rome in September. This restaurant was an unexpected find. The service was incredible, the food delicious and the ambiance made us feel right at home. If ever in Rome again, we will return. Its was great to meet Domiziano, our server, Alessio, the manager and Chef Marco. A memorable, authentic dining experience. Grazie mille.

Spent a week in Rome and this was hands down the best pasta we had! So full of flavours. The service was excellent and prices were amazing. Definitely a hidden gem tucked away in a non-touristy quiet corner of Rome. Highly recommended!

We stumbled upon this trattoria before we could go to galleria Borghese, not knowing what to expect. The place is very nicely decorated and the staff are super friendly. For starters we had some toasted bread with sausage and a veggie similar to spinach, and some artichokes. I had never had anything similar, but they were delicious! And, of course, their pasta... Carbonara and cacio e pepe... There is no pasta like proper Italian pasta in Rome! Definitely recommended!

We ate here on our first night in Rome - it was around the corner from where we were staying, so we honestly stumbled into this place. The service was astounding and so attentive; the food was absolutely incredible. Even a simple salad we dressed with olive oil and balsamic alongside meatballs was an absolute highlight for us — we left feeling so full and so happy, we’re 10000% going to be returning again!

Lovely people here and the food is fantastic. Asked us about our dietary requirements. Everything tasted so fresh! Very reasonable price: two shared a starter and got a main each, for under €50 - given the ambiance and the quality of the food - that's phenomenal value.

We ordered saltimbocca and meatballs. The meatballs were dry, the sauce was good. The saltimbocca wasnt very tasty either. They also charged for water and bread without asking us, they just delivered it to our table and then charged us without asking if we wanted it. The staff was nice enough

Nevermore. I don't know if it was with the first step of choosing but it wasn't good, I don't wanna say horrible because someone can like it, love it and someone hate it. We had Roman style tripes and some menu of the day. Tripes were somehow fine, I would rate it 5/10. The appetizer we had, it wasn't really good, like BIG NO (in my opinion) I'm sorry . So maybe next time it's going to be better or there won't be any next time.
