Come 'na vorta Via Torino Reviews
The place was very popular especially with locals, which is always a good sign. We visited during the lunch time but were lucky to find a table for two. The food was served super fast and was delicious (pasta was hand made). The portions were larger than I was expecting. The prices were decent. Would recommend to pasta lovers and others who are fond of the Italian cuisine.
We tried three pasta dishes—the Milanese-style risotto, ragu, and truffle carbonara—along with a sausage pizza and the oxtail. Everything was really tasty and well prepared. The oxtail was tender and flavorful. The truffle carbonara was different from a traditional carbonara; the addition of truffle enhanced the overall flavor and made the dish stand out. The ragu was served with fettuccine, which we’re not used to, but it turned out to be a great combination. The pizza crust was not disappointing either—nicely done and enjoyable. We also ordered the burrata with tomato. Compared to the other dishes, it wasn’t as special, but both the cheese and tomatoes were fresh. It would have been even better with a bit more flavor, such as a dressing. Prices were just right, and the service was good.
Excellent pasta, freshly made and cooked to perfection. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients, and it’s great that they offer several different pasta types to choose from. The sauces are rich, well balanced, and clearly prepared with care. The atmosphere feels authentic and cozy, very Italian. Service was friendly and efficient, making the whole experience even better. Definitely a place I’d come back to when I’m craving proper fresh pasta.
Pizza dough was as it has to be, perfect! Lasagna was also super delicious! Staff very professional, very pleasant atmosphere! We were lucky and we received a table for 2 imediately but the waiting time is under 10 minutes as we saw. Probably is recommended to have a reservation in case you don t want to wait. I would come back to eat always!
We had a fantastic experience here. I wanted to find the perfect place to celebrate my birthday while traveling, and it did not disappoint. Our food arrived super fast and it was one of the best we had in our 1 month in Italy! The tiramisu was also delicious! The place is beautiful, the arches and small tables provide an intimate vibe. Good value for your money.
We had a wonderful meal at Come 'Na Vorta! The atmosphere was cozy and authentic, the staff were very friendly, and Carbonara was absolutely delicious — fresh, homemade, and full of flavor. We also tried lasagna. It was absolutely perfect. A lovely place to enjoy real Italian cuisine in Milan!
We came without a reservation and waited for 10 minutes to get a table. Staff was nice, but when asked if the pork meat in Pasta e vino has bones, the waiter was assuring us that there are none - the meat came with bones in the end - but tasty. Other than that, cacio e pepe and carbonara were perfect, as well as tiramisu.
We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! Even though we arrived late for our booking, the host warmly welcomed us and kindly offered a small glass of prosecco while we waited just a couple of minutes to be seated. Our waiter was incredibly patient with us as we took our time to decide on the food. The staff throughout were welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home. The food was delicious and reasonably priced — definitely great value for the quality. And don’t miss ending your meal with their tiramisu; it’s absolutely worth it! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great dining experience. 👍🏻
Quite a good restaurant with very friendly staff. The menu offers a nice variety of choices, and the food was very delicious. The place was very crowded. We were a group of four and were initially seated near the restroom. Every time the door opened, there was an unpleasant smell. We asked to change tables, and the staff handled it quickly—within about five minutes, which we appreciated. However, the restroom itself was not very clean and looked untidy. Overall, despite this issue, it’s a good choice and worth visiting.
A very nice-looking, well-decorated restaurant with a cosy atmosphere. A common choice by the tourists as well, as far as I have observed. We tried three dishes of their freshly hand-made pasta, all of which were really delicious. The plates bearing the restaurant's logo and motto contribute positively to the experience. Perhaps a bit more guidance from the staff could be helpful in the selection of meals and wines, as we were only barely satisfied with the Chianti we opted for (we had had better ones elsewhere). Overall, a very nice dining experience in the heart of the Milanese buzz, so we'll likely be back!
Showed up without reservations, were told a table would be ready in a few minutes and then waited at least 15 mins. The place was quite busy at the time. Pasta is fresh and homemade (the chefs can be seen making the pasta dough through the window) and cooked well (al dente). The place was quite loud, we could barely hear the waiters or each other. I suggest making a reservation before coming to the restaurant. If you are just looking for good food, this place is right for you, however if the atmosphere is important to you, you might want to reconsider.
The service is amazing. The atmosphere is great, however the food is not good, in my case I went there because the carbonara looked good but it was quite basic, tasteless, high insult and not made traditionally. It was watery and not creamy, I don’t even think they used egg and I don’t even think they even used the right guanciale or even if it was guanciale. They do give you quite a large ish portion, however it is not worth it.
My personal experience at this place was extremely disappointing. I felt that we were treated unfairly and differently compared to other customers. We were placed on a waiting list, but every person who arrived after us was taken in before us. We ended up waiting for an hour while being completely ignored. It also seemed like they operated with two different lists, one for Italians and another for foreigners. This gave me the impression of discriminatory behavior, which is something I find unacceptable. No one should be treated this way. This was the girl.
