Panera Bread Victor Reviews
Great pick 2 combo options with a large soup and sandwich selection. Very filling. Love the Autumn Squash soup.
Drive thru workers are soooo friendly and nice every time I go!!!
A fantastic place to chill out at the end of the day with coffee and something delicious from the wide food selection, including half sandwiches - the Mediterranean Veggie is wonderful. The selection of iced teas is vast for the sweet toothed crew, or the bitter at heart. Coming here during the day for lunch or a light dinner is also advisable. My kids love the Mac and cheese or grilled sandwiches.
I love panera. It is my go to place to treat myself after a long. I am never disappointed. The soup is hot, the sandwiches are warm, the smoothies are blended perfectly, not to mention the cookies 😀. Thank you guys keep up the good work.
5 STARS for keeping the doors open even when people choose to stay home rather than get a job! We arrived this morning to take out only and no drive thru but the outdoor tables and our car still had room for seating. Maybe now that unemployment funds have run dry more will apply for entry level jobs. Perhaps the states will recognize if they provide reasonable priced daycare, more people would be able to work. Perhaps the fee could be based on the workers income level?
Delicious always. Love the Broccoli Cheddar soup bread bowl!!! Very nice staff! 💘
Good people, good store. Friendly folks and shout out to my dude Brendan 👍
Delicious sandwiches. I had the French Ciabatta Dipper, and it was fabulous. Of course, the broccoli cheddar soup is always great.
I just wanted to say how very nice the staff were at this Panera! We’re from out of town and just passing through. I’ve never seen such an efficient Panera with a welcoming and kind staff! They even brought us our meal, checked on us, and took our dirty dishes away. It was extremely clean. We have several Panera’s in Ohio & none can live up to this ones standards. Thank you!
The gentleman that was working in the drive thru was just wonderful. He was so nice and kind and made my day!
Stayed at the hotel nearby and ate dinner here most nights for a week. Quick service, good food and amazingly friendly staff. As someone who works in a service industry I am always excited to find places that still value providing friendly customer service! I believe it was Jenna at the counter today that helped me with my order and told me about the area. She is awesome!
Food is always good and the service was great!
I visited the Victor, NY Panera Bread location tonight to order my favorite item on the menu. This item is considered a seasonal item and unfortunately was no longer available for order. I was greeted by a gentleman named Phil at the speaker to take my order and he very quickly and thoughtfully apologized about the item no longer being available and immediately offered me a very similar substitution so that I could still enjoy the very item I love. Phil, I want to thank you for going above and beyond. Something that you might have thought was a small token of customer service truly made my night tonight! At the pick up window I was greeted with a lovely smile by Miss Veronica. I can't tell you how nice it is to know that when you visit the Victor, NY Panera Bread, you will always be receiving top notch customer service from the whole team at that location! I thank you all at that location for making my night! 5 Star Customer Service!
Automated system takes getting to used to if you are not familiar with cellphone app interfacing. If you are it works seamlessly with you google wallet or Apple Pay. And the 4 star is because it didn’t shock and wow me. Overall very good reliable experience to spend an hour for lunch. In between meetings.
The drive thru person was very good, no issues there. I just wanted to say that every time I go there, the common theme is that we are out of something. I'm not exaggerating, every time, "we're out of x." Who is doing your ordering? Or the Panera supply chain the problem?
The new manager was helpful and friendly. The atmosphere is changing to more of a restaurant experience.
This is hands down our favorite Panera Bread. The staff is always friendly and smiling, no matter how busy it is or what time of day we visit. The food is consistently fresh and delicious, and the atmosphere is perfect for family time or meeting friends. Brandon is amazing. He remembers his customers, even down to how I like my drink, which shows how much he genuinely cares. I don’t write reviews often, so taking the time to write this says how much this place means to us. Thank you!
For many years after COVID, food delivery became the norm. Like many people, I got used to ordering meals to the house. It was convenient, easy, and honestly, it replaced a lot of our old family traditions of going out together. But this Panera Bread completely changed that for us. Coming here feels like bringing back something we didn’t even realize we had lost. It feels like family again sitting together, sharing a healthy, delicious meal, actually enjoying the moment instead of opening takeout containers at home. I have never experienced a restaurant as consistently well-run as this location. The employees are genuinely delightful and helpful. No matter the time of day, drive-thru, in-store, busy rush, or quiet afternoon, they go above and beyond every single time. You can feel that they care. The store manager, (I believe her name is Jennifer), is phenomenal. She is constantly involved, attentive, and clearly sets the tone for the entire team. It shows in the atmosphere, the service, and the overall experience. This Panera Bread changed my perspective on dining out versus delivery. Instead of convenience replacing connection, it has restored that sense of gathering together as a family. I’m incredibly grateful it’s not far from our home. The old tradition of family meals is coming back for us. I have been in business for many years, it takes a lot of effort to be that excellent! Highly, highly recommended.
Food was delicious! Service was excellent! The manager Jennifer was soo helpful and soo kind and her staff were just as kind. Had a wonderful lunch today. Thank you soo much! Will definitely eat there again and again.
Chicken avocado melt could have been a bigger sandwich, I regret not taking a picture. Tasted good, clean place, food came out punctual
Good sandwiches but small in size. Delicious food but a little bit pricey. Overall, a fair place for middle class America. Many don't realize that Panera comes from Paneer, which means cheese in Persian. The restaurant is essentially called cheese and bread. The roots of European languages lies in Central Asian Persian. Anyway, my daughter is a fan favorite of Panera.
We arrived for dinner about 10 minutes before closing on December 9, 2024. We had driven over 7 hours from Northern Virginia and had just checked in at our hotel. Erica was extremely accommodating, letting us take our time to decide on our order. She generously gave us 2 bags of chips for each soup order since there were no more baguettes at the end of the night. When I ordered pastry for take-out, she gave us more chips! Erica also reactivated my husband's Panera account even though he didn't have his card with him, so we received a substantial discount. Cashier Olivia was very gracious even though it was technically after closing and she was busy with other activities. We didn't feel rushed by the staff in any way. On December 10 we returned for dinner, and I ordered an extra sandwich by mistake. Manager Terry promptly gave us a cash refund, even though the sandwich had already been made, and he was extremely friendly. Our soups, salads, sandwiches and desserts were excellent, the soups and sandwiches and salads made by line cook Jo. The restaurant is conveniently located within walking distance of a Hampton's Inn. While we were there, another customer came in and told the staff that this was his favorite Panera in the area, and we can see why! When we return to Victor to visit our friends in Farmington we will definitely return to this Panera!
One of the newer and nicer Panera locations in the area. Love having the self serve kiosks. Also has a drive thru. Food is consistently good but has gotten rather pricey.
This "fast"/"counter" service stop is actually a table service stop if you stay in so much as they bring you you're food. For a Panera it's better than the average franchise and the staff are very very nice and courteous. Food is what you'd expect from the chain and the restaurant is clean.
I went here for my first time, service was very fast and food was good. My only complaint was that I got the chicken noodle soup and there wasn’t enough noodles and chicken but there was a ton of carrots and celery, I would’ve liked it more if there was more noodles and chicken in the soup. But overall very good and clean!
Usually the salad is great here but today it was full of pink and brown pieces. So slimy and brown I couldn't even eat it! I tried to call the manager of the store but they don't answer their phone so I'm forced to leave a Google review. Just check your salad before you eat it. Usually this place is OK.
Food is generally very good, although the worm bowls sometimes come out cold. For the amount that they give, food is on the pricey side. Few if any vegan options. When they run out of something, they don't always offer to substitute, so if they're out of croutons, they don't offer anything extra .. more crackers , chips, or an extra roll, for example with your soup. As an accompaniment to the soup, the size of the baguette is disappointing. It is described as a baguette,, but should be advertised as a hunk of a baguette. Service is hit or miss, running from sweet and Charming staff to apathetic, particularly when the staff are not cashiers. When the only person visible standing behind the counter turned out to be a baker, he all but ignored me and then on my third try, and formed me in a salon tone that he was only a baker. So Bakers don't give customer service. It is sometimes the same for the cooks. Again, we think that paying people well and taking care of them, as well as providing good training, is often the solution. The soups we have sampled thus far have been well balanced, flavorful, and not too salty, if a bit less hot and less generously ladled than they could have been.
Standard Panera food, so it tastes good. However, when I pick up orders to go from this location, something is missing nearly 50% of the time. They are quick to make things right, but they need to be more consistent with fulfilling orders.
The only real complaint I have about Panera is they are overpriced for what you get. I understand they go the "organic" route but to me it doesn't matter. All I want is good food at a good price and an amount commiserate to the cost. I have never had a bad meal there. However, their back of the house personnel don't take much care in making your food especially if hey are busy. I have worked in the industry so I know how it is when you are busy. However, I always too the time to assemble my plates so they look presentable and not just thrown together. I do love their bread, it is always fresh and it tastes great. I have only had their scones, blueberry I think, and it was fantastic again expensive for what it was. Overall, if I have the money to blow I will stop in for lunch. The food is good but I am just not into the whole "organic" thing. I hope my review helped you! If you liked my review please click the "Like" button for me. Thank you, I appreciate it!
Good food as always. I had the Cuban sandwich with the bread. Ate the sandwich and took the bread home and ate it later with some good butter, yum! The service was ok. We bought pastries on the way out and, although some are a bit pricey, the bagels and other pastries were very competitively priced! Also, yum!
During our visit it was very busy and seating indoor was all taken. Outdoor there where some empty tables but there were no parasols making it very hot in the sun. Eventually we found a spot indoor. Food was very good and staff very friendly. The seats are in need to be renewed, also tables could be cleaned more often. Still a good visit.
Consistently the same food. Just wish they didn't struggle to keep certain ingredients available, i.e. avocado, hummus, kalamata olives etc.
I visit this Panera at least twice a week. I love the salads, but the service is slow and for the last few months they have not provided the normal amount of salad dressing. Sometimes I get back to work and there is maybe 1/4 of the container full of salad dressing. When you pay $9.00 for a salad, you shouldn't need to eat dry lettuce.
Ordered spicey signature chicken. Spice was squirted on a VERY dry piece of chicken. I've had better at McDonald's for less than half the price. My wife's Mediterranean veggie was a better choice than the chix. 10 veggie soup was good.
Food is good, consistent but the past three times they seem to have messed up the order or forgot something. The cashiers seem to find questions bothersome, like asking for a detail about one of the meals annoys them. In contrast, the 'servers' / ladies out on the floor were very pleasant and helpful.
Team work is not part of the plan at this Panera. We first stood at the register for 4 minutes while a worker tagged cookies right in front of us. I can't believe this is the best place for her to tag cookie bags. She didn't acknowledge us. She didn't want to help service customers as her co-worker, running the register, was rushing around to help customers. Two other associates walked through the area and also were not interested in helping their teammate. They had a task in mind, but were moving at a snail's pace, so I can imagine it was important. It seems like everyone here has a task and they only focus on that task even when it is clear they should focus on customers or help a teammate. I'd be curious about what turnover looks like st this store. I disliked being a customer. I can only imagine I'd dislike working here too. As far as the food. It's the same as every Panera. #fail #badservice
Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Eager to please and kind. The place smells wonderful, like bread and homemade soups. Nice warm place to be and relax. The only thing I would change is to keep the peace cleaner - there were crumbs on many of the tables and seats, which a quick cleaning and wiping down could fix. Overall a nice place. 😊
At Panera, spending $10 for a small cup of kids' Mac and cheese thawed from frozen, a tube of yogurt and a tiny juice box. Huh? It just dawned on me, and this will be the last time. Plenty more healthy, inexpensive - yet similarly convenient - options for children nearby! And why are they always out of bread as a side item at dinnertime (OK well, half the time)? It's 7pm on a Wednesday in May. It's called PANERA, isn't that meant to connote... bread? 😂🥖
Today a manager was loudly scolding an employee. I would have quit. Other customers in dining room were noting it and talking about it. I come here with a client I care for. There was a new employee so I assume it was him. Very inappropriate. Sometimes food is spot on and sometimes I pick spoiled lettuce out of food. Tables are sticky, small and cramped. Bathrooms are not as clean as they could be. Overall, it could be more consistent and clean. Staff is quite pleasant, but man was that manager rude to that employee.
Ordered 2 hours before I picked up and it still wasn't ready. When you're on lunch from work this isn't ideal.
Decided to try someplace I have never been before. I tried their signature hot chocolate which was definitely not my favorite kind of tasted a little watered down no real chocolate flavor. I got the chicken and pepperoni mozzarella sandwich, it was good not my favorite but they used shredded chicken which was very nice. I may try it again and get something different to see if I like something more better.
Have ordered the margarita pizza multiple times, usually comes with basil on it but the last two times I’ve ordered it hasn’t had any. For the prices of everything here, they should make sure to include everything that is listed on the menu. Disappointing. But the broc cheddar mac is always bomb.
Consistent with letdowns. They are out of things nearly every time I go. Something as simple as a bread bowl. Went got a salad and sandwich but was given salad without any dressing. That’s a mistake it happens but you can’t put just any dressing on this salad. Also got my sandwich which had about a pound of straight greens on it. It’s petty but when you pay $8 for HALF a salad, I expect to be able to eat it. It’s the principal of it.
So tonight after work I stopped after work and picked up 2 whole ceaser salads. Once I got home and took them out of the bag I was angry. They are one of the most expensive places to eat. You would think they would give you a descent amount of food. The 2 salads I got were empty. Maybe 4 to 5 bites in one of the salads and a few more than that in the other.
I wanted something with bacon ham and cheese like an omelet or a grilled cheese with extras. Instead what I got was a customized bacon lettuce and tomato that removed the lettuce and tomato, added one thin slice of ham and half a slice of cheese, and upcharged to almost $16. It wasn't even that good especially because it was cold. Total miscommunication. Also we were in a hurry so I didn't have time to do anything about it. This was further exacerbated by the point that we were waiting for the counterperson to hand us our food when it was waiting for us at the counter around the corner. I guess we just aren't familiar with how this works. The place was at least clean. There was a person assiduously tidying the eating area.
Went through the drive thru twice in the last month and waiting between 20-30 minutes. Food was ok, but the restaurant looked very messy from what I could see
I unfortunately never have a good experience here. I like eating in the dining room, but the drive through line is horrible. It takes about 15-30 min everytime I go through it, they won’t even have any other cars in line that it takes too long. The last time I went is the last time I’ll ever go when I was mocked by one of the employees in the drive through when I said to the guy have a good day as I was leaving they mimicked me in a high pitch voice. Called the manager to tell him what happened and that it really upset me and all he said was that he would “take care of it, and make sure it wouldn’t happen again”. No reason for employees to treat a customer like that.
Normally my reviews are positive and I enjoy the Panera Bread brand but this location in Victor could use some customer service training especially with whoever takes their drive-tru orders (female). Literally no cars behind me and she goes on scolding me about the amount of food I was ordering (4 different sandwiches) and to go inside instead. BTW...no issues going inside---It was the way she said it and this also happened to my wife.
No indoor seating at all. Wait time for food was over 30 minutes. Chicken BLT w/ avocado was extremely dry. Very disappointed. Felt extremely bad for the employees. Would have gone smoother if the self order machines were unavailable.
They were out of half the items took half an hour to gey soup, a sandwich and Mac and cheese.
The staff in the back tends to talk about very inappropriate topics, with no mind for customers in the establishment. Food is pretty good, and presentation is nice, but the building can be very dirty, with most of the tables covered in crumbs constantly.
I don't know what's wrong with this specific Panera. Every other one is great with consistent food. This one, not so much. I gave not one but 3 chances in case it was an off day but no, every time has been lukewarm or cold food. How does mac and cheese be cold in the center?? How is their popular broccoli cheddar soup luke warm?? Is it all microwaved?? My chicken sandwich had hardly any chicken in it and I order that regularly from other Panera's. I have sat in drive thru for 20 minutes IN LINE and told at the speaker sorry, they are closing. Um, 20 minutes early? After waiting in line that long???? I don't know if they need better management or staff but it's a pass from now on for this location.
Me and my girlfriend went here but they didn't even have milk for coffee. Worse than that they were out for days apparently Also the menu has blueberry lavender lemonade but they didn't actually have that at the soda machine. Service is lacking and for this price it's disappointing
Unfortunately, as a Panera fan, this was not it. Floors were dirty with food and pieces of debris, dirty table tops & chairs, the trash station was (not exaggerating) piled high with plates, cups, etc all over couldn’t hardly fit another piece of garbage in the hole. Didn’t seem exceptionally busy for all this. Food was good no complaints with that , sandwich was hot and fresh as you would hope for the price.
I have had multiple times lately when I have really wanted Panera but nothing I want is in stock. Get very disappointed when it happens
Every time I order on the app from this place, it shows that the order is ready. I give my name at the speaker and they tell me to pull forward when I get to the window They ask me what I ordered as if they had no idea in the first place, it then takes 10 to 15 minutes to make a coffee or a drink and they always are missing one of the ingredients. The managers need to learn to not clear the screens to try and get their good processing times if they can’t make the correct items. This store needs to be more like the Henrietta Store Tried a 2 time today. Received large drink covered soda all over it. Pastry bag was soaked in some other drink liquid My bad for trying this location again!
After ordering my food in the drive thru I had to wait 30 minutes until I reached the window and there were only 3 cars in front of me. They were very short staffed and the young girl who was working the window was making orders as cars came to the window to pay. Checked my bag before pulling to make sure I had everything just to get home and realize they forgot the dressing to my Caesar salad. Portions have significantly smaller. My husband and I ordered 2 pick 2s and kids Mac and cheese came to $35. A bit ridiculous if you ask me. Panera is definitely not what it use to be.
What has happened to Panera? We used to love this place? Today they were out of the first two soups we chose, gave us a Greek salad with wilted lettuce and on top of it all 4 (because we ordered extra) some kind of sweet (totally wrong) dressings. It’s no wonder they don’t seem anywhere as busy as they used to be. Sad!!
I'm disappointed I am even writing this review as I am a Panera fan in general, but this place was really off the mark today. At 4:30 they were already out of Broccoli Cheddar and their Autumn Squash soup. We were initially told they were out of Mac and Cheese too, but then we were able to order some and we got the "last two" bread bowls. I know it's a Saturday, but if you're that busy you shouldn't be running out of food by 4:30pm. Lets be honest, we all know it's not homemade, so open more bags and serve it up. When we got home, my soup was wrong (chicken noodle, not chicken with rice) and the large mac and cheese wasn't even full. It's frustrating to get home and find your order wrong 🙄🙄
A quick pick up of dinner ended up taking almost an hour. Drive thru closed on a Saturday. Out of avocados. Long wait time. Obviously understaffed. I had these sames issues a year ago and nothing has improved. I realize it is a challenging time for them but they should either close temporarily or post restrictions online if they are unable to provide them so customers can know what to expect.
Waited 20 minutes for a bowl of soup. It arrived cold and about the size of a cup. I have experienced poor service at this location before. I chalked it up to being busy. I am beginning to believe it’s become a pattern. They did replace my soup with a hot bowl. I also do not like eating soup with a plastic fork. Why the change to plastic? Other locations still use real silverware.
These people assumed i wanted chip bc of my weight. I asked for the apple slices. No meat on my sandwhich ordered the chicken bacon ranch. Was bread slathered with ranch. My weight shouldnt have anything to do woth the meal im served.
I ordered 12 bagels to go and 3 espresso waited for 30 minutes after I placed the order only to find out she only rang me up for one espresso and the manager Tyler just couldn't seem to be bothered that there was an issue. There manager Tyler seemed more worried about telling the guy who was slammed on take out window and drink station that he was his boss and maybe next time the employee should listen to him. Maybe if he would of gave him a hand it wouldn't of been a problem. Advice go to stabucks!
Horrible, Horrible, Horrible experiences here. I would normally visit this Panera as it’s the closet location near me. Over the past months this Panera has really dropped the ball, from customer service to poor quality of food. I recently placed a curbside order and when I arrived at Victor Panera, I waited over 30 mins. I tired to call in but no response. I then decided to get out the car to go in to the restaurant and the doors were locked. Scary enough someone yells from the parking lot “there close and have not updated there time.” After a few minutes, I noticed a member of the Panera team grab a bag and make her way out to bring it to me. She said “oh I only looked at the computer screen now”. I expressed to her that I have my two children with me and we have been waiting for over 30 minutes. There is no communication on Panera’s website, google nor Yelp that informs customers you close at 7. I actually arrived before 7 and use the app to communicate I was here for pickup before closing time. This is just one of a handful of negative experiences I have had at this Panera Bread location. I hope this gets taken to management of this location; changes are made and more training is done. If you read more reviews there are lots more of unhappy customers concerning Victor Panera Bread location. I would like to say, I sympathize with business who are short staff and facing difficult times. I will not sympathize with poor customer service. As customers are what keeps business alive!
A year later, this place still is horrible. I have eaten at several Paneras in the northeast and this place still lacks any stamina in management and customer satisfaction. I do not understand why during a pandemic employees and management would not have a occupancy standard. It is easy, do not allow more people than set by the state or corporate allowance. The place allows people to enter and order but then states “Sorry you need to take your meal to go based on occupancy”. I do not think people wanna eat soup and salads in there vehicles after paying $30. I am not saying do not eat at Panera, but it is this location I personally have lost all respect for. My last review was a year ago and all the employees were coughing, and my salad consisted of a avocado cut with all the skin left on. Yes, i did get my money back and went Next-door for a nice sit down lunch at NYBP.
This is the fifth time in a row they screwed up my order. They never get it right and this time the cashier faith had an attitude. One time I had to drive back to the restaurant twice and they screwed it up all those times. Finally the manager made my sandwich and had it delivered. This time they put it on wheat bread instead of french baguette, didn't have extra turkey which I paid extra for, had lettuce. Other gems include putting spicy mustard on when I asked for mayo, giving me whole wheat bread instead of putting it on french baguette. I eat Wendy's way more often than panera and even they don't screw up orders like panera. Granted the food is good, but it's not worth the headache of having every single one of your last five orders screwed up. It's not complicated to read an order ticket but somehow no one here can.
This was the first AND LAST time I will ever eat at Panera Bread. I went in and ordered food for take-out. I waited nearly 30 minutes for it. Turns out, it was left in a "pick-up" area off to the side. Nobody told me the food was ready and sitting there. By this point, it was not even hot. Horrible system!
My wife and I have been to Panera on many occasions and have enjoyed great meals in the past. Tonight we visited the store in Victor and were very disappointed. The soup was barely luke warm and the sandwiches has cold cuts that were semi- frozen. Not sure what happened here but it was disappointing.
Tried to place an online order at this location but it said the location was closed for the day. I called the store and they said they were only excepting drive-through orders for the day. I drove an extra 20 minutes to get to this location and waited in the long drive through line for them to finally inform me when I got to the window that they did not have any soup for the day!! Of course when you go to Panera, you go for a soup and sandwich. I wasn’t going to return home without soup for the family from there. How disappointing!
After a horrible experience last year i decided to give this cafe another chance. Bad idea. I ordered 13 bagels and i got 12. I asked to jave them sliced in half and they were sliced, but with just the top 1/8 inch cut off. Really i would expect more. Never going here again. Telling everyone i know to do the same.
This place is really getting old. Nothing seems to work on the website. I can't order takeout, can't view the menu. This consistently happens and they're consistently out of quite literally everything. I've really tried to forgive this over and over but I truly can't anymore. The only thing Panera had going for them aside from the other local healthy eateries was it's mobile access and drive thru. I urge you to go spend your money at a local store since here at Panera customer service is fixed with a cookie, not actually solving the issue. Pretty sad, because when it's functioning as intended, it's a great place to get food. Maybe new management is needed? Also take note on all reviews how this manager doesn't even acknowledge feedback of the business at all. Do they even check to see how others think they're doing? So much for customers first when clearly in black and white they show how they truly don't care.
Ate my lunch, then used restroom afterwards and toilet was filthy. As if it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. Anthony Bourdain said, if the bathroom is filthy, the kitchen is worse. Will not visit this location again. ICK!
Place was filthy with dirty tables and plates on tables for entire time we were there. No breadbowls, no Asiago cheese, no baguettes to go with soup or chili and chili had an awful flavor like it was watered down. Will definitely NOT go back.
Had limited selection due to them being out of many items. I customized my sandwich and they did the opposite of what I asked (I made a simple request due to diet restrictions). Not to mention it was not busy inside and the sandwich still took over twenty minutes to be completed. Would recommend a different restaurant if you’re in the area, or if you want Panera go to a different location.
I would rate this as 0 stars. We went right around dinner time so I understand that it was busy, but the customer service was slow and the food was not what we expected from panera. For starters they were out of all soups and could not make any frozen drinks. Along with that the serving of mac and cheese was much smaller than what I have received at other locations. Also we ordered a whole grilled cheese that was served as halves in two separate containers. Finally the chips and bread was stale, along with the bread being thrown in at the bottom of the bag.
Time of closing on Google maps states 9pm. When we arrived at the restaurant, the closing time listed on the door stated 8pm. We arrived at 7:40pm and the bread shelves in the restaurant were covered with plastic. All bakery items put away. Staff basically ready to lock the doors and go home. We left and went somewhere else.
I'm a regular user of the rapid pick up system and typically I'm in and out. Today was a different story. I was very displeased at how it took an extra 30 minutes for my food to be prepared and ready to serve when I had already ordered in advance. There were probably a dozen other people also waiting in line to pick up their food and everyone else had a disgruntled look on their face. I understand the day to day operations of efficient service and I'm okay with it being 5-10 minutes past the pick up time, but 30 minutes late is completely unacceptable and inexcusable- considering how I myself have a 30 minute long break and having to rush back to work. No sense of urgency while everyone was waiting for their food. Clearly something to improve upon.
I tried their delivery service. I got a notification it was on the way and a half hour later it finally showed up (I live 10 minutes away). After waiting 20 minutes, I had called to find out how much longer and since it had already been an hour since I ordered they told me they'd refund my money. They never did! The food was barely warm, but luckily still delicious. I will definitely never get delivery from them again if I ever choose to get food from them again.
Ordered delivery for myself & co workers. Out of 4 orders only 1 was correct. Completely missed one of the sandwiches, when I called they asked me to Call back bc they were too busy. I wouldn't even have to call if accuracy was a priority 🤷♀️
literally had nothing to make the sandwich on the menu, took forever to get food, and once opened it was a mess. Shut it down, that's embarrassing for a fast food place. I've heard similar experiences from friends that have gone to this location and to be fair to Panera I wanted to see for my own. It is just that bad.
2 weeks ago, out of Avocadoes. This week, out of Tomatoes. But NO discount on the $13 sandwich. Today, unable to take orders through drive-thru at LUNCH, but don't even put a cone outside to alert people. Can hear staff arguing and manager loudly yelling "do we have a system yet!". I should have aborted my order. Panera itself has been slowly becoming the fast food of sandwich shops (thinner bread, less meat and only processed, bacon BITS!, veggies constantly unavailable, etc.) but this location seems worse than others. Never for my work lunch choice.
Ordered food, did not get it all , called they were gonna send it that was okay but aggravating. Then called when we didn’t get in the hour called back told me to come get it! Would not have had it delivered if I could leave right! Third call still no food , they said we will refund you, but guess what no refund!!! My point being their food is expensive and when working people work on a schedule , you need your lunch you ordered the whole order at that . So their customer service is horrible and could care less if your get your lunch or refund. So our office has decided no to order again from there again ! And it will happen to you sooner or later. Worst customer service around .
I placed an order through the app for pickup at the drive thru with a notification that it was ready at 10:27am, I arrived at the speaker at 10:31am and sat there for 5 minutes waiting for them to begin anything with me and then finally gave them my name and pulled around to the window and didn't get my food until 10:48am for a single sandwich that was completed and bagged. I don't know why it could've taken so long with no one else in the drive thru line and almost no cars in the parking lot, but it is ridiculous. And on top of everything, they are constantly out of ingredients and menu items that they will let you order and pay for through the app and then just put a note on the receipt that they don't have it and not automatically credit you back.
This is the worst Panera in our area. They now only take orders via the screens. No staff present at the front. Bagel was half the usual size, tomato soup was unrecognizable and cold. Bad food. No service. $16 for terrible lunch.
Unfortunately, I waited in drive thru for 15+ minutes (at the window) for my vegetarian caprese, soup, and cookie. The employee literally RAN to the window to bring it to me (unsafe in a kitchen, but I appreciate it). I was understanding as I work in service. I got home and found I was given some sort of steak sandwich instead of a vegetarian caprese. I called and the manager apologized but couldn't offer a refund because it wasn't an in store order. He took down my address to mail me a $15 coupon. I never received it. Unfortunately, I am done with Panera for good due to this, menu changes removing options for vegetarians, high prices, and lack of follow through. Most of all, I implore Panera to give this crew the proper staffing so these multiple mistakes don't happen.
Honestly this store was great, but it has gone down hill lately: not sure why. Maybe understaffed? Management is running around instead of directing the store during rush time. Wait was unbelievably long. Past 45 min for 2 small things, The manager is very inexperienced from the way he was handling situations . They are are disorganized no communication in the kitchen. The manager honestly needs to do better everyone was complaining. Cold food, long wait time, and wrong items were the top complaints I hear just by waiting. Lady with the blue hair was literally running around and trying to solve everyone’s problems Honestly todays operations should be reported to corporate. The manager had to re make a family feast because “ someone took it” . What’s happening, the manager needs to be re trained or fired. Some one needs to be on expo, They need a busser bad
I have been to this location multiple times, and have had a delay/issue with my order almost every time. I placed a curbside pick up order (suggested to be ready in 10 minutes). I arrived approximately 30 minutes after placing my order, checked in at a numbered parking spot, and waited 20 minutes without receiving my order. I went inside where there were no customers being helped at the counter, with multiple employees standing behind it. When asking for my order, they didn’t know where it was. I then receive my order and leave, with not even a simple apology from the staff, only to open my tuna sandwich to find there is maybe a little over a tablespoon of tuna on the bread. This was the last straw for this location, I will not be coming here again.
