Aloha Villasanta Reviews
Large portions and fairly inexpensive. The wait time was short and the customer service was great. This is an awesome place for a quick bite. I highly recommend the katu chicken if you are just starting out. It's yummy and a great break from regular fast food.
This place is fantastic! As a first impression, the employees are always friendly and welcoming, which is always a plus. Their prices are a little high but their portions are massive so it is actually a great value! Every time I've come here, quite a few times at this point, their food has been hot and fresh. Every time, every thing I've ordered. Not just that, but tasty and tender. They have great beef options, always tender, always tasty. They really don't need any sauce because they have a nice flavor on their own. Same goes for their BBQ chicken, good light flavor, always juicy and tender. Now, what I usually come here for is chicken katsu. Nothing beats their katsu with katsu sauce. Plates usually come with a side of white rice that's nice and sticky but not dry, mac that's pretty good, and some cabbage under the meat that gets slowly cooked if you let your plate sit for a while. Personally I tend to skip the cabbage, but everyone has their own tastes. With all of that out of the way, this really isn't a place you go to get a meal for one. You can easily share a plate with someone and have enough food for both of you, see the provided picture. I definitely recommend this if you're in the area, and they have other locations as well.
Got the BBQ beef plate. A bit pricey at $15.99 but it was good. Idk if I'd go back tho because the cost.
One of the best Hawaiian bbq spots around Large servings Decent price Easy to eat in house or take home
This spot is very quiet and clean . The staff was nice and the food delicious.
The food is really good prices did go up and I noticed the plates are smaller! Service is good very nice helpful people! I have never had an issue with my orders. The atmosphere is calm I was able to have a conversation while enjoying my food!
First time coming to this location and it was a 10/10, they are definitely NOT stingy with there food. They give huge portions and have to rubberband the container so nothing falls out lol. One meal can feed 2 people with the portions they serve and to top it off very affordable. Definitely will be coming back and recommending this location to everyone! 💯🙌🏼
Everything is Great. Is Clean. Service and Specially the Food. Great Job Cooks!! Is a Team effort when everything is Great. The Whole Crew plays a part.👍
This little hole in the wall is great when you are trying to feed 2-3 people with one combo. Hefty portions, delicious chicken katsu, great drink selection as well. Highly recommend.
Food is consistently great and orders are completed quickly. Their spam musubi is the best ❤️
I have eaten here a couple of times and the food and service has always been good. They make sure you are OK with everything on the plate and will let you substitute for other items. They have 8 tables inside, most are 4 seats.
Big shoutout to the helpful staff, Brian! 🙌 First time here. I ordered through their website and accidentally put the order for a wrong address. When I explained the situation, a staff member, Brian, helped me sort it out, even though he was very busy helping other customers. I ordered my food there and it was great portion and great taste! Will definitely come back. Thank you, Brian!!!
HUGE portions! I got the mini meal and they put a rubber band around it so it didn’t bust open haha this whole thing was $10.99. You can get Macaroni salad but just got extra rice and steamed cabbage. If you are hungry come here, huge portions, tasty. Not the best Hawaiian food but still pretty good. Self serve sauce station. No msg hot sauce. 😋
Excellent!!! Huge portions. Better than what we had in Oahu last week. My husband ordered the mini Hawaiian BBQ $11.99 (I warned it's a lot of food) and between the 2 of us we could not finish it. It comes with rice, macaroni salad and cabbage. This is a picture of the leftovers! Popular place. Inside is not much but your going for the food
First time here based on reviews and didn’t want to drive all the way up north to Matiki Hawaiian food so I came here instead. It’s very true about the portion sides. It’s actually enough for three maybe four people depending on hungry or I ordered the regular sized chicken, ribs and beef plate with rice, cabbage, and macaroni, and it was too much to eat. I threw away about a third of it. The meats were all overly sauced and a bit salty with sort of concerns me because this is how restaurants and grocery stores hide the fact that the meat is getting old or stale or whatever but they use lots of sodium and sauces to disguise the fact that the meat is going bad, but edible was too much of a mayonnaise paradise the rice was very good. The best part of the meal was actually the cabbage.
I still love the food here, but I moved away and came back recently to visit, only to learn that the prices here are higher than they were when I last visited. The food portions are still big but weren't as massive as before, and the prices are probably twice as before. That's unfortunate (but also better business sense for them). I will still eat here when I'm in the area, but it's definitely not as affordable as it used to be.
The place smelled nice, and it was clean, and the people sitting down earing seemed to be happy, but they get two stars for rounding our total up for us and giving themselves a tip. We just bought two cold sodas, and the total on the cash register said $4.58, and the guy said, "That'll be $5 guys." Very not cool.
The food is delicious and the portions are great, even for the mini meals. The only downside to this establishment is the cashier Karina. I walked in with my wife and waited in front of her for over five minutes before she even acknowledged us. Karina couldn't even spare a "hello" or "welcome" as she appeared to doodle on a piece of paper. It seemed as if us being there was an inconvenience to her. Customer service is vital in my book and she was lacking on our visit.
We order our food and waited 15 minutes at the restaurant. They removed the soda machine nozzles and I was unable to fill my soda. I had to ask an employee to re install them. We are told to leave by the employee at the store. We then speak to the owner and he says leave as well. As you can see we barely started eating. They turned of the lights before we even left. Will not be coming back.
