We went here for the grand re-opening on Friday, the line was pretty long but manageable. They had a special going on that day, buy one plate, get one free. The place hasn't changed that much in my opinion. My favorite bbq beef was amazing as usual. It was only missing the cabbage, but I can only imagine because it was crazy busy. Food was hot and fresh, on point as usual. I love the addition of the hula guava pie I've been going here off and on for years now. The place isn't too big but parking can be tough depending on the time of the day you go. This time around, I mainly came to get the Lilo and Stitch bag that you get with the purchase of an Ohana meal or Keiki meal. My typical go-to is bbq beef with the veggies and all rice. I don't care for the mac salad here because it has tuna in it. My family, on the other hand, loves it. The Ohana mea is pretty big and was more than enough to feed my family.

Very delicious BBQ grilled chicken with plenty of teriyaki sauce available. Serving size of chicken was generous with 3 large pieces. Macaroni salad and steamed white rice came with the lunch menu. However, I did not like the raw cabbage/broccoli vegetables that was included with the meal.

I gotta give it to the customer service from this location. They messed up of my order, and made up for it by replacing it with no cost. I even offered to pay for the second one since it was an honest mistake, but they refused and apologized for their mistake. This ono location just earned a loyal customer. Food quality wise, it’s always consistence and delicious!

Everyone here was super friendly and they are always maintaining the cleanliness of the place, keeping their condiments stocked and even offered be a bag for my sauces without asking. Their food is not greasy at all, unlike most places. A little pricey but worth it. See you soon Ono:)

They're $7 grilled fish deal is incredible. Large portions check, healthy food with plenty of vegetables in the salad check, very nice people that work there. The Sloat location has a woman running the show that goes above and beyond and makes it a great experience. What a deal!

I saw the Ono Hawaiian BBQ while I was on my way to see my old pal Fathead Marley, he's in Colma now after living the past 30 years down the street from me. I told him before he moved I'd share a bottle of Makers Mark with him each year on the day he moved, and after I left the half empty bottle on Fatheads grave I headed to Ono Hawaiian BBQ for some Hawaiian BBQ chicken. It was spectacular!

Big plates, awesome servings. 2 platters fed 3 adults. Reminds me of hawaii in every bite. Also, they got POG. (Passion fruit - orange - guava ) Get it and you won’t regret it.

Amazingly delicious, healthy and inexpensive fast food restaurant. For about $10 the basic BBQ chicken plate is perfect for TWO people to share... you heard right, yes - one plate of $10 good for two to share: 4 BBQ chicken thighs, 2 scoops of rice, macaroni salad, veggies of cabbage and broccolis with all-you-can-have warm teriyaki and katsu sauces. It really is the perfect meal after our Sunday skate work out at Canada Road.

I was in the area and thought I would give it a try since I really miss Hawaii. I believe it's a chain restaurant because I think I visited one in Fresno last year. Anyways, the chicken and mac salad were pretty good. The beef short rib and teriyaki beef were little tough. Teriyaki sauce is excellent.

I called the store on a Friday afternoon to order a small tray of chix katsu for Sunday and when i arrived i was greeted by the cashier and the whole transaction was pretty quick. Katsu was hot and fresh. Only one thing i remember out ofcthe ordinary was the use of manual credit card machine. They have to make an inprint of my CC which is kinda weird. Store looks clean and quiet.

I've been going here for a few years!! Well they finally did it! Raised the prices and cut the quantity!! Seems like a regular routine here in Daly City for fast food prices! Just enough for me and my wife, and hardly any leftovers!! Use to be a lot left, oh yeah food was cold!! Not going back, greed makes them loose, steady customers!! Bye, bye Ono BBQ, you'll lose in the end stopping your customers to return for a few extra bucks.

Food was not great. Got the Hawaiian BBQ plate and the chicken was alright but the beef was flavorless and the short ribs tasted rotten. Had my boyfriend try it and he agreed. I was really looking forward to this and ended up throwing away the entire plate after two bites. Very disappointing.
