I saw the Ono Hawaiian BBQ while I was on my way to see my old pal Fathead Marley, he's in Colma now after living the past 30 years down the street from me. I told him before he moved I'd share a bottle of Makers Mark with him each year on the day he moved, and after I left the half empty bottle on Fatheads grave I headed to Ono Hawaiian BBQ for some Hawaiian BBQ chicken. It was spectacular!

Big plates, awesome servings. 2 platters fed 3 adults. Reminds me of hawaii in every bite. Also, they got POG. (Passion fruit - orange - guava ) Get it and you won’t regret it.

Amazingly delicious, healthy and inexpensive fast food restaurant. For about $10 the basic BBQ chicken plate is perfect for TWO people to share... you heard right, yes - one plate of $10 good for two to share: 4 BBQ chicken thighs, 2 scoops of rice, macaroni salad, veggies of cabbage and broccolis with all-you-can-have warm teriyaki and katsu sauces. It really is the perfect meal after our Sunday skate work out at Canada Road.

It takes a little while to get your food but it's only because they cook it on the spot. The fried shrimp were super fresh and hot. The chicken was equally as deliscious.

Loved the food, fresh and tasty. A bit on the pricey side but well worth the visit. Staff was friendly and menu has lots of options to choose from. Quantity of meal was very large and filling.

I was in the area and thought I would give it a try since I really miss Hawaii. I believe it's a chain restaurant because I think I visited one in Fresno last year. Anyways, the chicken and mac salad were pretty good. The beef short rib and teriyaki beef were little tough. Teriyaki sauce is excellent.

I called the store on a Friday afternoon to order a small tray of chix katsu for Sunday and when i arrived i was greeted by the cashier and the whole transaction was pretty quick. Katsu was hot and fresh. Only one thing i remember out ofcthe ordinary was the use of manual credit card machine. They have to make an inprint of my CC which is kinda weird. Store looks clean and quiet.

I've been going here for a few years!! Well they finally did it! Raised the prices and cut the quantity!! Seems like a regular routine here in Daly City for fast food prices! Just enough for me and my wife, and hardly any leftovers!! Use to be a lot left, oh yeah food was cold!! Not going back, greed makes them loose, steady customers!! Bye, bye Ono BBQ, you'll lose in the end stopping your customers to return for a few extra bucks.

Food was not great. Got the Hawaiian BBQ plate and the chicken was alright but the beef was flavorless and the short ribs tasted rotten. Had my boyfriend try it and he agreed. I was really looking forward to this and ended up throwing away the entire plate after two bites. Very disappointing.

I don’t know what happened. I dined in with my family, the chicken was pink the fire chicken didn’t taste as good. My whole family has food poisoning
