When they first opened in 2015, I swore never to come back after they made me wait 45 minutes for a cheese burger. There was a 10 minute wait tonight at 9:30pm. That is acceptable. The Gotta Habit $8 meal was decent. It was half of a chicken club sandwich, tempura green beans and a drink. The two unsweetened ice-teas were not available. They are supposed to close at 10:30pm. The staff has already put the chairs above the tables at 10pm not letting customers sit at tables. Some booths were available. The restaurant was clean and I didn't have to deal with the staff much since I ordered from the kiosk.

We went a little after lunch and it was pretty empty. Got our burger fast and was seamless with the kiosk ordering station. We had a to go order and the burger was still good when we got home. Good portion for the price. Fries were good and the green bean fries were great as well. Could improve on their watery ranch dipping sauce but other than that no complaints.

Let me start by saying they have a good menu. The food is good. Also, the people in the front always look upset. Or maybe they are too stressed. But last thing i want to mention is to please book a PEST control visit. Because everytime i go there i see ANTS everywhere, both dining area and bathroom.

Let’s get right into it. It’s been a minute but trust me, I’ve been working and have been preparing my palet for more meals. The kids at the camp I work at are crazy, but in a kid and innocent way. It’s funny,. I’m leaving to college in a bit so that’s also pretty cool. We have the habit burger. I used to go here as a kid because they gave me gummies. They did not give me gummies today. It’s alright because I am no longer a kid. I got the Santa Barbara. I believe the habit has some origins in Santa Barbara. No clue I could be wrong. It was interesting. I definitely liked everything inside the sandwich or whatever you call it. It tasted like a burger, I liked the freshness the veggies and avocado added. I thought the bread was not super soft and hard; it hurt my mouth a little. The tempura green beans were great. It had great flavors, salty, crunchy, and the tempura flavor and green bean flavor works well together. Service was alright, it was just slow. Probably I was there during rush hour. The atmosphere was also average, it was clean which is nice. Overall, it’s a great fast food chain and I’m pleased with the experience. I will give it a 5.8 out of 10 so that’s about 3 stars. I’m going to a nice sushi restaurant in a few days so keep your eyes peeled for that.

I would say this is relatively similar to places like In and Out and Five Guys. The burger is slightly better than places like McDonald's and Burger King but not that much better. Because they are too busy, once in while you might end up getting a burger that's not fully cooked.

Uninspired service on a Tuesday morning. The guy in the blue shirt who took my order (2 charburgers, drink, fries, onion rings) had a really poor attitude. Bad attitude makes the food taste even worse. Why would I want to spend my money eating at a restaurant that doesn’t even TRY to be nice to its customers? That’s why they call it hospitality. After sitting down, I noticed that our ranch dressing was missing. So, I went back up to the counter to ask politely, and he just slapped it on the tray with his back turned, no apology, no sorry, no thank you. What a jerk. I regret leaving a tip! Won’t be returning. To the owner: please train your staff to be nice to customers! It’s not that difficult, you know.

I realized that advertising is to be taken with a grain of salt. Ya safe to say no lines at this place like all in and outs....I was hoping for a burger that was mind-blowing to the point of a revisit. Unfortunately, it wasn't the taste. It reminded me of a BK spin of. I'll go back to the tried and true In and Out.

The restaurant had very little seating and the floor was very unclean and they reused the same towels to clean the tables multiple times not even taking them to re soak

Lately this location has been closing 15 to 20 min early. Not cool. This has happened twice in the same week. Can't even order for take out cause they closed early not at 10:30. Very misleading.

Aa of today 10/4/2025 I was told that the only burger i order here for years now... is completely off the menu. I do not eat beef and the impossible patties were perfect. Now all they offer is a pathetic veggie patty which is not comparable in flavor or if you're actually craving a substantial burger replicated. LAME

My Husband chewed like 1 inches wire from the burger when he threw and found out the crew took a picture & accepted that was from scooper of avocado,crew ask if we will ask for refund but we refused , I requested the manager to call us…the crew got my husband phone number but never got any call we waited for 24hrs no calls from manager.Sorry but we are not safe to your food.We are disappointed we regularly dine in and ate to this brunch we believe that Habit is healthy for Us! But now no more!
