The first time for our family. The food is fresh and taste good. We love every menu. We didn't expect much but you make me surprised. Your food is super delicious as any Chinese food I ' very ever been in this area.
Wow, Woohao is a hidden treasure! Their dim sum is seriously delicious, and when you add their mouthwatering chicken dishes into the mix, it's a match made in foodie heaven. Seriously, each bite is bursting with flavor, and the chicken? Oh, so tender! Whether you're catching up with friends or treating yourself to a solo dining adventure, Woohao's got you covered. Trust me, you won't regret it! Five big stars from this satisfied customer!
It's been a place I've been to growing up. Formerly known as Fung Wong, we'd come here after visiting the cemeteries. The new remodel is very clean and bright. Prices were affordable and didn't break the bank. Food was decent. The egg tart was the best. Food came out quick and lots of staffs. Would come here again.
New chinese restaurant in daly city with a small parking lot. I used to go here when it was the dim sum restaurant but it’s completely new and remodeled. It’s now nice and bright inside and very clean with many tables. They definitely upped the quality and ambiance. We came on a Tuesday night and there were plenty of tables available. The service was quick and attentive. They served jasmine green tea immediately. The owner recommended the sea bass and suggested different ways of cooking it. We ordered it fried with sweet and sour sauce. We also ordered the walnut shrimp and yang chow fried rice. We loved the fish. We got their smallest one, which was a little over 2lbs. I thought I was going to be deterred by the little bones, but it was amazing. The skin was lightly fried and was so tasty. It went really well with the sweet and sour sauce. Even though there were bones, they were very easy to pull out as the meat was fresh and cooked perfectly. The walnut shrimp was also really tasty and went well with the fried rice. The fried rice came with lots of bouncy shrimp and bits of bbq pork. We finished all the food between 3 people. I noticed a table next to us ordered a clay pot and it came out really fast so i hope to try that next time. They also gave a free dessert at the end! Overall I was really impressed with the food. Our total was about 90 including tip. It may be a little more expensive for chinese food, but the quality and service was definitely worth it. Go and try out this new place!
Took my family here and then food was great! Very busy location and it speaks to the quality of food. What you'd expect!

(2025) Fresh food; Good Customer Service by Wayne and just met the owner, May (friendly, too); and the restaurant is clean and welcoming as well and the menu has varieties, too. (for vegans also). (2026) Best (Rock Cod fillet) sweet and sour I’ve ever tried - will definitely come back in this place. Roasted Peanuts is being served while you settled in before ordering dine-in.
I had the best time at this Chinese restaurant! The service was outstanding, with the staff being both welcoming and attentive, making sure our glasses were always full and our food came out quickly. The food was phenomenal—everything from the dim sum to the sizzling beef was bursting with flavor. The wonton soup was savory and comforting. The ambiance was equally impressive, with a mix of modern and traditional Chinese décor, making for a relaxing and intimate atmosphere. This place is definitely worth a visit!
Very nice servers. We came on a weekday. Even though we did not order a lot, they still provide great service. Other tables also has the same great service. Dim sum tastes great. We order Siu mai, beef tripe, beef with rice cake and some other dim sum. Food taste great. Nothing bad about this place at all. Will come back again.
I really love this place. The food is so yummy. They are very sweet. They Always make you feel welcome.🥰🫶❤️

Standard Chinese restaurant serving traditional Chinese food on Gellert next to the 7 Eleven, Woo Hao translates to "hoh hoh sihk jao louw" in Cantonese from the chinese characters. They took over from that old, dark, and tired Chinese place. "Fung Wong", as I recall, that had been there for years. They offer dim sim, lunch items, and dinner service. They even have some tanks for keeping live seafood. We went here for dim sum with some chow fun and fried rice noodles as a "main course.". OveralI,we would give the food a B with some B minuses thrown in. The chow fun was well prepared, but the fried rice noodles were too oily. One main characteristic of the food is that many items seem to be slightly undercooked. It's as if they took things off the burner, out of the wok or steamer, or out of oven 30 seconds too early. Everything looks good on the outside, but when you take a bite, you realize that it was just a bit underdone. That was our experience. I'm not sure if others had the same issue The dining room is moderately sized. Parking can be a problem as the parking lot is small and neighborhood parking is taken by the residents in the area. Woo Hao is certainly not a destination restaurant, but if you're looking for decent and traditional Chinese fare after finishing shopping at Serramonte mall, give Woo Hao a try.... if you can find a place to park.
Came here early to pickup for early dinner. Easy to find and right off 280, it’s in a run down strip mall with some parking. The facade looks old but the inside is new and shiny, albeit decorated in traditional style. We ordered sweet and sour pork, string beans, sautéed beef and roast duck and it’s all pretty good. Service was very good, there were a ton of wait staff gearing for a busy night. Would definitely return.
Steamed seabass was fresh as was the giant clams. The beef was tender. The preserved meat with cauliflower could have had more preserved meats.
Solid chinese restaurant, good sized dining room that got busy, but not packed, on a Tuesday night

I was there for a presentation. The food (Sui Mai, Sesame Balls, Egg Rolls, Egg Flower soup), was very good. I did not like the Rice Flour Rolls, only because I do not like cilantro. The staff was attentive, supplying tea & extra soup (we were at a table with 12 people). It was a complimentary lunch so we did not pay. Afterwards we glanced at their menu and their prices seem reasonable.

We were looking for a new dim sum restaurant to try and found this dim sum . Dim sum was good often but can have hits and misses. We tried the shrimp dumpling, siu mai, congress, rice noodles, beef tribes, chives dumpling. The special dish fried noodles was wonderful one time and so so the other time (see picture). The waiter and waitress are friendly and responsive. This restaurant is more Canton style than Hong Kong style. Recommend if you are looking for a new dim sum restaurant to try. The $35 for two fish dishes makes a good deal. We have experienced some hits and misses, and wonder if there maybe a team A and team B for the restaurant.
Dim sum in Daly City, Serramonte area. Dim sum was very good at a reasonable price. The Chinese broccoli was well prepared and delicious. The glutinous sticky rice with chicken in lotus leave was very good with Chinese style sausage. And the baked durian puff was acceptable. We have visit this place lately and the food quality has gone down. The shrimp dumplings now seems to have very little dumplings and the special chicken on dry leaves we ordered the half chicken but it seems that they mixed other vegetables and reduced the amount of chicken

Don’t come. Nothing is fresh here. Service is awful. The chicken feet taste like it’s rotten already. Veggies have no flavor basically. Ordered Panda shaped bao they don’t have it so just decided to give us blank bao. What do you mean you don’t have it? Probably because they don’t have the frozen stock for that. Even shrimp dumpling which is the most common dim sum dish tastes awfully and also looked awfully 🤯. Please don’t come here, the food IS NOT FRESH and the taste is bad. I’ve visited 5+ dim sum places in Bay Area, and this is the absolutely worst one.

On Tuesday 8/26 at about 5:20 pm, I placed an online order with Woo Hao Restaurant totaling $109.26. It showed an approximate delivery time of 40 mins. At about 7:00 pm I called the restaurant to find out where my food was since I hadn't received my order. The woman on the phone told me she would contact the driver. The woman called me back and told me the food was delivered. When I told her I hadn't received it she said she would send the driver back. He rang my doorbell. When I answered, he told me he was here to pick up the food! I was on the phone with the woman at the restaurant and she insisted the food was delivered. The driver then changed his story and said he gave to the food to the woman with the dog. My wife was sitting on the couch with my dog. He then continued to insist he gave the food to my wife. The woman on the phone continued to argue with me that the food was delivered. I told her that the driver was a flat out liar! He told her the lady with the dog had long hair. My wife has short hair, my guest has short hair and I have short hair. I'd finally had enough and hung up on her and shut the door on the driver. About 15 mins later, the woman called me back apparently realizing that it was their mistake. She tells me it's not about the money but about customer service but made no attempt to refund my money. Today, 8/28 I contacted me credit card company and was told to contact the restaurant to ask for a credit/refund. I went to the restaurant and got the run around that the manager wasn't there and I would have to contact the the online company who took the order. They were no help either and said they didn't have permission to refund my money and that I would have to contact my credit card company and dispute the charge. This whole incident is UNBELIEVEABLE! I will never order from them or recommend them for anything they offer.
We came to eat ordered and the first 2 came quickly. Finished one half the other and waited and waited while the sever spent more than 30 mins with one who came in never bothering to check on us until I called her. Needless to say she kept saying soon 2 mins we paid for ehat was srvrd and left. I should have just left without paying cuz it left us still hungry no brkfst nor lunch. NEVER going back total disrespect for us seated customers.
Ordered dinner here for my mother-in-law for Mother's Day on Fantuan delivery. The abalone pot came as a soy sauce chicken dish with a couple pieces of very small abalone, completely not as pictured on their ordering page. A porridge, the chicken (abalone), a veggie dish, and a couple of bowls of white rice, came out to be $90. The food was embarrassing. I would never order from this restaurant again.
