Trattoria dei Cacciatori Vimercate Reviews
I was invited here for a group lunch. I thought it was a trattoria in the truest sense of the word: checkered tablecloths, simple dishes, perhaps with game... I found myself in a beautiful restaurant, with fabulous dishes and 4-star service! The food is divine.
Nice, historic, family-run restaurant. I ate well; they were friendly and quick. I ate there for lunch. Since it was a business lunch menu, the selection was obviously limited.
We went there today for the first time, quite by chance, during a trip to the Leonardo da Vinci ferry and the Sanctuary of the Madonna del Bosco. Highly recommended, clean, tidy, and very friendly staff. We ate really well, everything was excellent, from the ravioli to the polenta with veal morsels and mushrooms, and the dessert was extraordinary. My sincere compliments ❤️... we'll definitely be back.
The is very much a spot of locals and regulars. If you find yourself in the area and want an authentic Trattoria experience, this is worth a visit. At the venue you are greeted by an immaculately dressed host who guides you to a table in a bustling but understated wooden room with tablecloth covered tables. Forget tap water, or even menus, first you are offered a local hollow bread (no butter, or plate) and quickly a waiter will rattle off what's on offer (it's not written down). Two courses, If you don't speak Italian you might be stuck! You might pick out a few phrases, Lasagna or Risotto, but don't worry, it's all good home cooked style food. Italians, especially in the north, are very concerned about hygiene. So don't expect communal anything. Even the local grated cheese comes in a packet, that emerges from the waiters hand like a magician doing a card trick. Also, the toilet doors are automatic (as my father-in-law was keen to point out!) Great value, charming and authentic. But, best served with an Italian guide or a deal of patience, as it is designed for locals to enjoy, but they will make you welcome regardless.

Very nice place, simple, elegant, and quiet! The lady was really kind and friendly, we ate very well, they tell you the menu verbally, very homey, and everything was prepared with great care! Like being at grandma's house! Everything was very good and the price was very fair! Recommended!
Excellent choice, very tasty, excellent service and facilities and all the pandemic related rules respected without any damage to clients whatsoever. Highly recommended!
I give this place 5 stars, this is due to the staff being friendly, kind & the food was absolutely delicious.

ok place to stop for lunch break.
Historic trattoria in Imbersago. Dined there on Friday, October 6, 2023, for lunch. Set menu with a choice of three first courses (also available as a sampling of two first courses), three second courses with sides, and desserts. Bottled wine or house wine of reasonable quality are available. The menu is not available and is suggested by the waiter. Tasty and well-prepared dishes. Fairly priced. Some evenings feature themed evenings featuring typical Lombard dishes; reservations are essential. Recommended
2-course starter not abundant but interesting in its composition, good mushroom risotto (tasty but not salty or without butter), braised ravioli did not fully satisfy me, remarkable veal morsels with mushrooms and polenta and wild boar with polenta. Not a sign of criticism but you can feel the light use of dice.. which I hope was homemade by them. Good good still red bulk house wine. 4 good desserts. Comfortable and spacious environment, you can breathe the flavors of a trattoria. Clean place. Courteous staff. I'll be back for the casserole on Wednesday night.
We went here for a Sunday family lunch. The restaurant is traditional, as it once was, with typical dishes, including those not on the menu. Very good food, and the waiters were knowledgeable about gluten-free options. The first courses were generously portioned. We ate well, although we had to wait a bit, partly because they make the risotto to order. We'll definitely be back.
A historic, characteristic and very welcoming trattoria, rustic enough to create the right atmosphere... the trattoria dates back to April 30, 1900, and has always been in the same family. Customized dishes with a variety of homemade dishes (tagliatelle with duck sauce, wild boar and polenta, risotto with porcini mushrooms, cutlet, etc.). Everything is delicious and fresh. Really friendly service, short waits, and fair prices (€60 for two with a first course, second course, dessert, and coffee, but no wine). Delicious.
Siamo stati a pranzo con amici. Il locale era pieno ma il servizio è stato impeccabile: la proprietaria gentilissima ed il personale veloce, attento e preciso e cordiale...mitico Rosario! Sul cibo nu…
We had lunch on a Sunday afternoon, choosing the restaurant based on its very interesting website. Unfortunately, the on-site menu was much shorter than advertised (only one type of ravioli, only one type of risotto, etc.). The staff was very kind and efficient, but the final bill was excessive for what we ate. We won't be returning.
We went for lunch on Sunday. The menu had fewer choices than what was listed on the website. The only appetizer offered was fairly bland, with average-quality cold cuts (coppa and salami). I then ordered veal morsels with mushrooms and polenta, which were bland, and three meat morsels, which were small portions. The place is a bit like a food hall, with too many people and too much noise. I wouldn't go back.
Siamo stati a mangiare in questo posto di sabato a pranzo e il cameriere ci ha detto che non era possibile ordinare alla carta ma proponevano un menù fisso stile trattoria di camionisti quando poi si…
