Teriyaki Park Sushi Waco Reviews
This is the best sushi place in Central Texas! We have been coming here for over seven years now. Sushi rolls are huge and so so good, you get a great meal for the money you spend. I love the Waco Roll and Dragon Roll! We have tried sushi at other places, we always say they can never compare to Teriyaki Park! They have kid’s meals options too that our kids love! I only wish we lived closer and could visit more often!!
I love this place!!!! Food is great!! And the service is so awesome!! The lady who gave us our food kindly shared some of her homemade kimchi!! It was so good!!! Definitely try this place! Very authentic.
This is my favorite place to get Japanese food in Waco! It’s high quality and doesn’t break the bank! The staff is always kind and very helpful. I always appreciate their recommendations.
Cool place. I like the location. I wish my girlfriend wasn’t so much of a jig back because I probably spend $50 a week here. Good food tho.
Don’t listen to any negative reviews. Best Asian food in Waco, and the staff is great. They’re always friendly and go out of their way to talk to my kids.
A local gem! Everything is always made to order, delicious and fresh! Highly recommend if you are visiting Waco!
Always one of my favorite places to eat in Waco! I've never been disappointed by the food here! The people who work here are usually super sweet too! Forever one of my favorites!
Sushi feast at Teriyaki Park Sushi in Waco! 🍣✨ This place has become a real staple for our family. The prices are always reasonable, the servings are huge, and the food has never disappointed. It’s a small, clean spot with a simple setup, but the service is consistently friendly, and they always treat us well. Good food, good kids, good day. ❤️
I had a great experience at Teriyaki Park on S. 2nd Street in downtown Waco! From the moment I walked in, the staff were friendly and attentive (always a plus). I ordered the “Waco Roll” (10 pcs) and a teriyaki chicken lunch special — everything arrived looking fresh, vibrant, and delicious. The sushi roll was nicely balanced (not overly heavy) and the teriyaki chicken came with steamed rice, salad, and a piece of California roll — a solid value for lunch. The interior has a clean, relaxed vibe, perfect for a casual meal whether you’re grabbing lunch or dinner out.
We love Teriyaki Park for sushi and other Asian food! Always the best balance of quality and price in Waco for sushi. Great fried dumplings too. We come back often.
The place has the best bang for your buck. The Austin roll is the largest sushi roll I've ever had and is incredible quality. The staff was very welcoming, and Sue was especially kind. I will be coming back!
The service is great! The food is delicious, they recently added new items to their menu too. I think they really listen to customers feedback. The atmosphere is good small restaurant, perfect if you like to eat alone or chat with friends for hours, date night birthdays. Nice little place with a variety menu big portions friend- type staff. (yes vegan options too) & I eat there all the time. (:
Traveled to Dallas and Waco with my daughter. It was a very interesting place that had all of Asia’s favorites. We were very hungry so we ordered various foods including dessert. It was very reasonably priced, and we loved all of their food! We had spicy seafood yaki udon, hamachi & salmon nigiri and other side dishes. Will miss this place a lot!
I stopped here on my way back from Dallas. This place is only 3 min off the highway. I had the spicy tuna roll which was so fresh the rice tasted perfect. Also I have to say the best boba I've had. And I love my boba. It was the perfect texture and flavor. Soo, the owner was very professional, we also enjoyed a chicken teriyaki plate. Would definitely go back!
There were many customers when I visited. All the staff were friendly and I was especially impressed by the professional owner. We were able to enjoy a variety of Japanese and Korean food, and all the menus were plentiful, of high quality, and delicious. The bulgogi and galbi are so delicious that you can experience heaven. Also, I would highly recommend the Boba tea after meals. I really want to visit there again!
Teriyaki Park was fantastic! The service was friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we walked in. The food was absolutely delicious and fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. They even went out of their way to accommodate my wife’s special request to have the meat cooked for her poke bowl, which we really appreciated. It’s always great when a place is both flexible and attentive to details like that. We’ll definitely be coming back!
The entire staff is extremely kind, welcoming and chatty. I just came in for a bubble tea and they had me smiling in minutes. The thai tea was okay. It is oddly thick and very sweet. Unfortunately they are set drinks without the ability to reduce sugar or ice amounts like traditional boba tea houses. Prices were good. The food and portions looked great.
Stayed at one of the hotels nearby and wanted a quick bite. There were 3 people behind the counter but took a while for the staff to take my order. I couldn’t tell who was the cashier, owner or kitchen staff. Everyone was occupied with different things except for helping customers that were coming in. I ordered the tempura soft shell crab. It was good but wouldn’t order it again. I also got the chicken teriyaki lunch special. The chicken as you can see from the picture is very thin. Very saucy.. can’t say I was impressed. You get one piece of sushi. However the salad and fried rice was plentiful. Overall, I enjoyed my meal regardless of the lack in customer service or the small amount of chicken. It seemed to be owned or run by Korean people. I think I’ll order the Korean options next time because I was not impressed with the Japanese items I ordered.
We all got an assortment of items and hands down the sushi was the best. I'd definitely eat sushi here again any time. The place isn't super clean and isn't particularly high in great ambiance or environment, so that adds to my deduction of stars for this place. I think with just a little work, the place could be a lot more hospitable and inviting by changing the decor up a bit and removing stacks of sodas/storage items out in the dining room...and by taking chairs off the tops of the tables. I felt as though as an in store diner, I was a second thought. Poke bowl was very tasty....full of a lot of ingredients which was nice. Next time I'd ask for no iceberg lettuce.... Sushi rolls were super tasty and plump. Fried tofu was barely fried with no crunch at all...it was so tasty with the sauce ..although I really wish they had cooked just a tad longer...it would have been perfect. The think I really didn't enjoy though was all the styrofoam....I have never ever been to a dine in restaurant and been given a styrofoam cup with my pot of hot tea...and I've never been served sushi on a styrofoam tray! The teriyaki chicken was delicious, but again on styrofoam...just not appealing at all. In summary...tasty food, large menu.. boba drinks were fabulous, but price doesn't match being served on styrofoam....It felt like an overpriced fast food place instead of the counter service fast/casual dining I was expecting.
The place is okay look wise but the black cashier had given my friends an attitude over the credit card machine to pay it looked like she had thrown her hat off and was fed up, walked out and looked done before walking back the whole thing just wasn't really okay of a vibe to bring to work yk? But the bubble tea was okay but the wait been waiting for a long time now.
I wouldn't eat here if it was all that was open. And I wouldn't give to my animals. The workers here are rude and disrespectful in everyday possible. I saw a gentleman and his women sitting outside this morning, they wasn't bothering anyone just watching video's on their phone's and being quit. Well, I told the gentleman I would bye them something to eat, well the employee over hears the conversation and tells me right away, if your buying food for these people, then I cant serve you. When mind you, the same employee that told me that sits outside on the bench right by the door and hits an illegal THC pen, but bc I wanted to buy 2 homeless people something to eat I cant be serviced. That's wow. What have people come to in this world now? And also another employee stands outside ON THE CLOCK, while on her phone talking about how much she hates her boss and everything. This is poor management and owner skills. Get you employee's under control. Your letting people do things backwards.
