The owner Pete makes really good pizza. Simple, not gourmet pizza, the way they used to make it and still do 40 years later. The crust is crispy, not soggy like the other place that's across the street. His pizza sauce has just the right amount of herbs, sweetness and tang. He is not shy with the toppings either. The prices for his pizza are extremely affordable so you'll get more than your monies worth. The Wagon Wheel also makes delicious pastas that you'll need a box to take the rest home. Generous portions from an owner with a generous heart to serve the best pizza and pasta to his loyal and new customers. Pete's mission is to give his customers the best quality food for the best price. Stop in and try the best pizza anywhere. You'll be glad you did. When I'm back in Wappingers Falls I'll be headed to Wagon Wheel pizza for a walk down memory lane. Until next time.

Peter is the man. Haven’t had this great of a pizza in many years. We came in and Peter had a perfect pepperoni pizza ready within 20 mins. Perfect crisp, perfect thickness, perfect sauce and cheese. I highly recommend this place. I would come here again. Thanks Pete !!!!

Multi generation real deal quality Pizza that only existed long ago! The owner makes his own dough and sauce each morning. Not the oily cardboard stuff we've learned to accept. Tastes amazing!!! Can't get enough...
The staffs were very nice and friendly. I always visited with kids, and the staffs already remembered what we want to order. We like their pizza, best in town. The crust is light and fluffy. The sauce is just right for us, not too sour, not too acidic taste. They talked friendly with customers. It make me feel so warm and friendly when I dine in there.
I went here with my uncle about 7 years ago & I still haven't stopped telling people how this place had the best pizza I ever had & how awsome the owner was! I hope to visit yall again sooner than later!

Cheers to Wagon Wheel Pizza and Pete the owner who couldn't have been nicer when we placed a large order for our wedding after party. He worked with us to revise our order a few times and kept us updated on its status. Needless to say it is the best pizza in the area. Our only problem is we should have ordered more!
We ordered a mushroom pie and two meat lover slices, everything was excellent. The sauce isn't acidic and the crust is light and fluffy. Tasted great reheated as well. The owner is friendly and has been in the area for decades. Cash only but there is an ATM on site. I highly recommend this spot.
I am in my 50's and remember my mom bringing me to the Wagon Wheel as a very young boy after she made her trip to the Mid Hudson Savings Bank on Mill St. I think the interior has remained the same through the years. Pete makes excellent pizza. You can also purchase fresh pizza dough to make at home (also excellent!)
Now his pizza is the Best. Every Pizza is really good but his is different has a unique style with lots of good toppings my favorite is pepperoni it's really good and delicious yum... My 9 year old Ramsey

One pizza oven, one guy, pizza made to order this isn't gonna be good BUT let me say I've eaten at many pizzerias up and down the east coast. Wagon Wheel Pizza is easily in top 3 if not the BEST!!! I was literally in shock and blown away by how good it was. I'll be back here many many times!!! Keep it up Pete!!!
No other pizzeria could compare! This family run place is always kind and welcoming to customers new and old. The pizza itself is so fresh, and made right in front of you. The crust is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and the sauce is nothing like other places. Would highly recommend coming here! Heads up: cash-only! Yes, atm is available.

What a find! Our group was in town for a cross country meet and after reading the great reviews we decided to give Wagon Wheel a try. First, the owner (Pete) is extremely kind, professional and went above and beyond for us. When I went in to place the order it was so nice to learn it was a multi generation business and his father handmade all of the tables and booths. We ordered 10 pizzas and probably should have ordered 20 since it was some of the best we have ever had. Thank You! We look forward to coming back the next time we are in town.

I love the village feel of the place. Plus Pete is just a real stand up guy. Food is always hot, not greasy, exceptional value! Just wish he'd make me a calzone 😆.

Pleasantly surprised! Discovered the Wagon Wheel on my way to another (unnamed) pizza place. Pizza was flavorful, the crust was nice and crispy. Definitely will return.
