Just had one of the best lunches this year, the food was amazing the added bonus being Valentine's day. Thank you Mr Baines and Italian Kitchen for a lovely meal. We will be back, especially for the creme brulee!

Beautiful Italian restaurant. Wonderfully cooked and presented food, and at reasonable prices too! The ambience is nice, and the staff are so freindly and welcoming. The whole restaurant has a genuinely warm feel which comes across in all the staff. We would definitely recommend!

Booked dinner for the final night of our trip without realising they were doing a special date night evening. It was brilliant, the food was amazing, service attentive and great to enjoy free belinis, breads and music.

My husband and I are doing a London > Paris > UK trip. We are nearing the end and this was THE BEST meal we have had on our entire trip! We ordered the two seasonal items; pork pappardelle and pork and chicken pizza 🤌🏼 I wish this place was in the US. So flavorful and you could tell they use high quality ingredients. We are here for Tiger Day so I’d highly recommend stopping here if you are in town. Thank you for the tasty meal, wine and great service! After our meal we sat out near the water to watch the ducks. Great time together.

We enjoyed a wonderful lunch today for Mother’s Day, our first visit to this restaurant and won’t be the last. Wonderful attentive staff, goats cheese and butternut squash pizzas were lovely as were the tiramisu desserts and general dining experience was excellent. Thank you for the little treat after our meal, a delicious cupcake and Mother’s Day card to take away in a beautiful gift box, that was a nice touch. ☺️

Excellent food, friendly and fast service, nice, classy and clean establishment. Have visited the lasted two comes in the area and no disappointments whatsoever. Booked a table through the Google Maps information and all went great. The bread, starter, mains and dessert all great! The only letdown was the langoustine on top of my most recent main meal was a bit dry but still very satisfied with the meal.

The staff were amazing, especially our server Alfie, who made sure everything was taken care of for us. The food was delightful and authentic and the atmosphere was comfortable and warm. Would recommend to a friend.

We drove up from Ipswich and are staying in a holiday park nearby so thought we’d look for a nice restaurant, me and my partner love italian so googled italian food nearby and this is the first that came up, and i’m soooo glad it did! This place serves the most beautiful food, the tiramisu was the best we have ever had. Service was so quick and our waitress Ellie was so lovely. You get complimentary bread which was beautiful, very big portions for the price too! We couldn’t believe how much food and drinks we got for £73. If we didn’t live 5 hours away we would be back and i’m devastated i can’t come back. The restaurant is small and cozy by the lake. The man who i think is the owner/manager (sorry if im wrong) visibly treats his staff with respect and was helping to clear tables, as any boss should! What a lovely place!

A lovely, lovely spot overlooking the bridge and river at Wareham. Looking for #glutenfree dinner option, I came across the Italian Kitchen and a quick call confirmed that #gf wasn’t a problem. Smart, modern & airy, we were shown to table upstairs with fab views over river. We were offered complementary bread & herb butter followed by #gf Spaghetti Bolognese for me and a huge Lasagne for hubby. Staff very friendly and efficient, restaurant clean and comfy - excellent!

Excellent italian restaurant, was fully booked inside but we took a table outside as the sun was shining. The food is incredible. The garlic bread with cheese and caramelised onion was delicious. Generous size too. The pasta and pizza was equally delicious. The thing that makes this place stand out is the staff. Attentive, friendly, and welcoming. We were visiting the area, but we’d happily recommend to others.

Amazing food and ambience. Service was fantastic and definatly somewhere for fine food and a date night or celebration. And the Tiramisu in personal bowls was one of the best I've had in ages Well worth a visit if your in the area

My friends and I were walk-ins looking for some normal Italian food with no expectations. That's why it was so nice to be surprised by the quality and deliciousness of the food! We had the olives and antipasti sharer for starters and a few drinks. I had the lasagne and blueberry and champagne (?) cheesecake which were faultless. Our server (young male) was lovely too. Compliments all round.

a really good Italian restaurant! Me and my girlfriend went out eating tonight and had a great time. The team and the food was amazing I recommend it to anyone it’s a better alternative than the old granary or the quay INN in my opinion! Also recommend to book a table instead of just walking in in the evening

Superb!!!! Honestly the best Italian food I've had in a long time. I went for a pasta dish (which I don't normally do) due to the ingredients sounding appealing and it really was awesome. My son had a kids pizza which was 10" and awesome value as for £7.95 included a pudding, either brownie or ice cream. We all shared a cheese garlic bread and it was massive, fresh and tasty, oh it was good!! The wife had a pizza which had spicy sausage chunks instead of slices which was a welcome change from the typical salami, pepperoni combo.

Lovely service and very specious seating. Staff wonderful with kids. Very good price for food, drinks a little pricey. All in all, I would absolutely go again. Ice cream out of this world!

What an amazing place. Nicely laid out. Lots more space inside than I ever realised, and for once, comfy chairs! Food was amazing. Staff all friendly. Yet prices similar to pubs. Totally recommended. You won't be disappointed.

We were recommended this restaurant for Brunch, by one of the market stall holders. Excellent value for money, well presented delicious food, best food we've had for a brunch EVER! The passionfruit martini 👏 Service was top notch too & the atmosphere was great! Value for money 100%

My family (6 adults, 1 young toddler) had a lovely evening meal here for my mum's birthday. The food was great but even better was the friendly and attentive service from our waitress Megan. She kindly offered to have my food re-heated when our overtired toddler didn't allow me to eat it, and arranged a taxi with no notice. Thank you!

Head chef Shannon is an absolute credit. Her food time and time again is served hot, perfectly seasoned and in good time. Cannot recommend her enough, one of the best chefs in our generation. Not to be skipped

Lovely place. I had steak and frites and the chicken bites as a starter. Staff were very friendly and food was delicious. It was very hot inside, but got cooler in the night. No aircon and no fan, but otherwise interior was nice and cozy. Would recommend, house red wine was good too. We pre booked so no wait, there were 8 of us.

I was seated quickly by Ellie/Elle, and drinks were brought out immediately. (The customer service was absolutely amazing by all staff especially Ellie/Elle!) The food was absolutely to die for, probably the best tasting Italian I have ever had. The price, for what you get, is very cheap and the effort put into the food is well understood by the taste and presentation. I would recommend to anyone curious to visit, you will not be disappointed.

Went there today for my husband's 50th birthday lunch with our sons. We'd been to a very established restaurant in London on Friday and I'd say the food at the Italian Kitchen was better! Everything tasted phenomenal, lovely staff and they went to the trouble of decorating the corner where we sat (gorgeous river view) for his birthday. We live in Bournemouth but cannot wait to return here. Thank you all involved.

My husband and I had bottomless brunch here with our friends and our 9 month old. The staff were fantastic, as were the food and drink, and it was great value for money. High chair was available for our son we felt he was welcome! Thank you.

The food is excellent and beautifully presented, service by the friendly staff is attentive but unobtrusive. We have only in or near Wareham two but been here twice each time. There are only 3 main dishes to choose from, fish, chicken and superb steak, we have tried them all. Last visit we had the sharing bread platter which is fresh bread from the local bakery with cold meat and olives followed by 5 starters to share, which they offer for £25.

We really enjoyed our visit to this modern bistro with Italian-inspired food. Food and service were excellent. We sat at a bar-style high table but were surprised at how comfortable it was, and it gave views out over the Wharf. A highlight of our time in Wareham.

We recently had the good fortune to eat at the Italian Kitchen when on holiday in East Stoke. The Manager was super helpful in setting up a table for 6 without a booking. The staff were very attentive and had a fantastic level of service. The decor was really lovely and the standard of food was fabulous. We would highly recommend this restaurant. Great job guys 🙌🙌

We had the most amazing sharing roast dinner platter board, the food was absolutely fantastic, so much ,great value for money, everything was delicious. I would highly recommend visiting for this Sunday roast 👌👌👌😁😁😁

A really nice little Italian restaurant near the quay on the river in Wareham. We went here for an anniversary meal and we're not disappointed. Very nice young staff team were very attentive. The menu was unusual, creative and tasty. Cocktails were nice and we had an exceptional bottle of wine which was not overpriced. Multo bene!

Nice modern italian restaurant, good service and catered to our needs well (son has food allergies). can recommend the pizzas, lovely thin bases. Good value for money.

Went tonight for the first time. Staff were very attentive and nice. Food was top notch, you could tell it authentic Italian food using the best fresh ingredients. My only disappointment was when we came to pay the waitress said giving a tip is optional. I don't believe in tipping someone just for doing their job. As soon as I pressed no thanks on the machine she didn't say a word and almost stormed off. I felt uncomfortable with this. Upon leaving my wife who was ahead of me as I was on crutches, said to the waitress near the exit thank you. The waitress didn't say a word and didn't even look at either of us, totally blanked. This also made us feel uneasy. It was such a shame as we really loved this restaurant. The waitress need telly not to be like this just because customers don't leave a tip. I'm afraid we won't be returning because of what happened.

Interior looks very nice. From upstairs you have a nice view over the riverside harbour. Bread & antipasta board starter is very good. Margherita and marina pizza are covered with thick layer of cheese. This is not italian style but the fat american style and makes the pizza very grease ... it kills the pizza and thats a pity. Topping on marina pizza was good. Carbonara very tastful. Desserts (creme brulee, cheese cake (heavy chocolate ?) and roasted plums (pastry) were very good. When all is good not overpriced.

The setting is lovely, they’ve done a brilliant job on the premises. Once we initially got served the waitress was very good. So I struggle to say why I won’t be rushing back (what I mean by three star), although happy to go again. For me there wasn’t much that really appealed on the menu. There’s a good looking range unless you’re a veggie

First time here with my family. Food was nice but not exceptional. Ordered penne Arrabbiata and it didn't taste that spicy. I think it was made with green chillies rather than dried red chillies. Service was a little sketchy as they had 2 large bookings upstairs but all the staff were friendly.

Unfortunately, this was below average Italian food and at a premium price point. One person in our group ordered the butternut squash pasta, which turned out to be a watery tomato sauce with chunks of squash thrown in. Based on the menu description, we expected fresh pasta in a creamy, rich butternut squash sauce. Instead, it tasted like something you could throw together at home with a jar of sauce and dried pasta from Sainsbury’s. To the staff’s credit, they did replace the dish without any fuss, but the overall quality simply didn’t match the price tag. As for the ambience, it didn’t help matters. We were seated upstairs, where there was no music and the decor felt lifeless. Perhaps the downstairs area has more atmosphere, but upstairs, the bland food matched the bland setting all too well. All in all, a very underwhelming experience.
