Flaming Wok Watertown Reviews
I love this place! The people are friendly, and the food is very good. I always get the 3 meats/1 side option, and all the chicken I've had tastes great. Also, pretty cheap meal depending on what option you get. Whenever I'm at the mall I eat here.

Been going here for some years now. But in my opinion I prefer the flaming wok 10yrs ago then it is today because they had some good chicken and broccoli at the time. Not sure why they took it off the menu but they did. Still pretty decent place to eat at if you doin some shopping around the mall.
I've eaten here a few times and it was always good. I'm actually shocked at how many negative reviews there are of this place. It's the mall so you can't expect top quality food. I've had the chicken and the lo main and each time I had them I thought they were good! And for the price I think it's fair to ask $15 for a plate considering the time to prep and cook these kinds of food, it's not pizza or burgers and fries. I've seen the complaints for the serving size but I never took issue with it as I always felt they gave you a fair amount for the price and plate size. It's their rule on how much they give you and I just accept it. It's a not a buffet so I can imagine wanting extra will cost more. And from my interactions with the people working here they've been nice enough, I made my order, they got my food and I paid and that was it. Never had an unpleasant experience once. I feel for any bad experience someone may have was that they may have annoyed the workers or were expecting too much from some Chinese joint in a mall food court. Or it was just an off day, this happens and we shouldn't be too harsh on people who are just trying their best, unless it's a consistent thing though. But from my experience, this isn't a bad place to eat at the mall. I love Chinese food and having this place as an option while at the mall is nice.

me & my fiancé went to the mall to return something at best buy and then headed over to the Chinese place because we were craving it and it was good! it tasted fresh and you could even get a takeout thing if you were eating in the food court. the guy who served us was really nice and friendly. the mall just seems really slow and boring and some places seemed to go out of business fast and it reminds me of the mall back home in ct with how much people don’t go to that said mall if that makes sense
The food is good here, but there are often empty food bins when they run out of popular items. For instance, I wanted to get the bourbon chicken, but they were out. I wound up getting honey chicken (which I had never tried before.... it was good), along with sesame chicken and mushrooms. The flavor and texture of everything was pleasing, and it was surprisingly filling.
Food is decent, good portion for price. It's okay to stop by and get a quick bite. Definitely recommend yummy kitchen for Chinese food though it's 1000% worth the drive.
The bourbon chicken and sautéed mushrooms were decent, all for a reasonable price.

Food was pretty good in all honesty, however the amount of food given does seem variable.
The worker was kinda rude and he made it seem like it was an inconvenience we were there. I asked how it works and he just pointed to the tv screens. I ordered the 1 meat 2 sides and he gave me 4 pieces of chicken… For my fiancee it seems he put more meat so I had to eat some from his plate. Not worth coming here. Lo mein was okay, mushrooms were tasting weird and chicken was good but again… 4 PIECES
Service is mid and food portions are sucky. Half of the tray is rice, but for the other half to be meat you need to pay for double meat. Bourbon chicken is in huge chunks and should be cut up more, also drink options are super limited.
Was given the smallest portion of food for 7 dollars. Food was disgusting. Wouldn’t give me a refund for the food being bad and stale.

The food was okay, not bad… But the portion was so small it was surprising. I asked nicely for a little bit more on the 2 to go meals I was getting and the lady gave me a super dirty look and gave me one piece more of chicken and it still was a super small portion. Wouldn’t really recommend or go back.
Nice employees is what gives it the star. I myself and so many people I know have gotten SO sick after eating here. The taste is great but there were literal fruit flies IN the food, disgusting. Within 5 minutes of eating it I had food poisoning. Absaloutley DISGUSTING! This place needs a health inspection!
The place is garbage, save your money and eat somewhere else. Not only was it cold and flavorless, it was overpriced. One scoop of meat, one scoop of noodles, and 5 pieces of broccoli witha drink and egg roll was 15.00. The service also sucks. I have no idea how this place always has a line with how low their reviews are.
$15 for less than half of what you get from Panda Express at the PX. Food was mediocre and warm. The lid to the drink kept popping off and spilling. Customer service is not good at all. Easily the worst place at the mall to eat. If they don't care, just close and let someone who does be open.
Pretty sad when they say they are open at 10am and when I come by to get some food at 10:35 they haven't even started putting food out and the only person there is just talking on her phone not doing anything. Used to be a great place to grab a quick bit but nevermind about that
The food was old and not even hot, not to mention it tasted awful. The staff were extremely rude. The woman putting the food on my plate kept touching her nose with her hand and then continuing to scoop the food which was disgusting. I don't have high expectations for mall Chinese food by any means but this place is the bottom of the barrel. Don't waste your money.
This place is garbage. Low quality food and nasty stale everything. Place is dirty and the server doesn’t look happy working here. Please take your business somewhere else. If you’re looking for Chinese food this isn’t the place to eat at trust me you’ll regret people that gave it a 5 star has not tried real Chinese Food.
The name for this place is perfect imagine getting the food that you ordered, except they use garbage on fire to cook the food in the wok. Plus hairs in food is always a wanted added nutritional supplement right?!! Would not Recommend! 0/10
Customer service was rude, food is water downed. They’re very shy with the food , and honestly you’re better off going somewhere else if you’re going to spend $27 for two. Money was wasted, that’s all.

They advertise blacken chicken on Fridays and Saturdays, but it’s a roll of the dice if they actually do or not.

I witnessed possibly the grossest thing ever! I was washing my hands in the restroom and witnessed an employee leave the restroom without washing his hands! I understand that possibly they have a handwash station in the back but there is no excuse for an action like that! I now refuse to eat there! Just NASTY!
