Delicious Homemade Ice Cream, Milkshakes & Vegan Options! The ice cream here is absolutely delicious – rich, creamy, and clearly homemade with love. Every flavor we tried was yummy, and the milkshakes were super tasty too – thick, flavorful, and refreshing. We were also really impressed with their vegan choices, which were just as delicious and thoughtfully made. The girl at the store was so sweet and helpful, patiently guiding us through the different flavors and making great recommendations. Her friendly attitude made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend for a tasty treat, great service, and options for everyone!

I loved this place. I went with my mom and a friend of mine after our hike at Watkins Glen Park and it was so great. The home made ice cream was delicious. They had sweet corn & cannoli, and some other flavors I've never had before. The man working there was very nice and friendly. I had a lovely stop. And the ceiling was so cool!

So creamy, delicious, homemade ice cream with a very warm and kind person. We asked her for suggestions, and she recommended cheese cake, banana, and coffee from homemade ice cream. My kids are not a big fan of bananas, so we didn't order that one, which I now regret as cheese cake ice cream was heavenly delicious. Coffee one tasted like fresh grounded coffee. The parlor was clean, and it gives you that retro vibe. As if you walked into an ice cream parlor from back to the future, drive back trips. Loved everything about this place, and it's conveniently located right around watkins Glen Park. A prime ice cream shop at a prime location with a prime staff. A must try! And yes, they have non-dairy ice cream and Hershey ones, too.

Food: Two options to choose from: homemade vs Hersheys. We chose homemade and not disappointed! Great selection of flavors and you can taste how fresh it is. We sampled many, and settled for scoop of Banana Foster and scoop of Cannoli. Amazing! Fresh bananas in there. Real cannolis mixed in. Scoops are HUGE. The owner was there and he basically served us a pint with two scoops. Service: the owner greeted us and was SUPER nice, made us feel at home. Gave us many samples and told us the story of the parlor. Atmosphere: clean, updated in the inside, plenty of space inside to sit. We sat outside on the tables to enjoy our ice cream under the sunshine. Calm and chill place. Easy parking.

Extremely flavourful and smooth ice cream and ices! The coconut and lemon flavors were incredibly strong and left us wanting more. The staff were friendly and served us very quickly. Little to no eait. Parking is available up front, order from the window and seating up front too. The signage could be more organized because there was so much to choose from, but that's never been a bad thing! Can't wait to be in town again and try more flavors!

The Great Escape Ice Cream Parlor is a wonderful place to get cool treats on those very hot summer days… or anytime you’re in the mood for great ice cream! They have so many flavors to choose from; anything from hard ice cream, to soft serve, gelato, sorbet, and vegan options, to some of their amazing homemade flavors! The staff are very friendly and the service is fantastic. The longevity of this place is a testament to how great it is!

Quaint vintage-style ice cream parlor with inside seating as well as a nice deck. They offer a wide range of vegan flavors and are very responsive to guests with food allergies. It's my favorite ice cream parlor in Watkins Glen.

There are new owners of this establishment. The lady who waited one was very nice. The building is handicap accessible as is the parking lot. Big parking lot on the right side of the building. There are lots of hard flavors, soft flavors, shakes, Sundaes, etc. There is indoor and outdoor seating here. You do go in the building to order.
