The sandwiches are very good. I also had the clam chowder which was actually very good. Clean little spot kind of a hole in the wall definitely worth trying if you like subs or gourmet type sandwiches. On the sandwiches instead of lettuce or something like that they have bean sprouts which is a little different, but it was actually added quite a bit of flavor to the sandwich.. I had the California crunch and my wife. She had the dub club. Both were very good. They have several options for soup if you’re a soup person and also for salads if you like salad.

Great food! Great service! Place was clean and not too crowded. The carrot cake is bomb!

In the current times where food prices are skyrocketing and the size or quality of the food is becoming subpar, it's great to see my Erik's Deli sandwich, made to order, and stacked high with fresh proteins and veggies!

Delicious food with a unique twist. All the sandwiches use sprouts instead of lettuce! Of course you can customize this, and throw in whatever customizations your heart desires, but even just the stock sandwiches are delicious! They have lovely indoor and outdoor seating, and the staff was very kind and seemed happy.

I’ve been eating at this Erik’s Deli for over twenty years now. My grandfather and I meet there, or sometimes he brings me takeout and visits me at work on my ranch. He’s 85 now, and still bringing me sandwiches. The owner and staff take such good care of him when he goes in, really good people. Thank you, our food is always fresh and delicious. Hoping for 20+ more years of sandwiches here:)

We have been eating at Erik's since they opened and have always had a great eating experience! Love their soups and sands. Have gotten food to go many times. Grab some sands and off to the beach. Always nice and clean and inviting. Love the way they remodeled a while back.

I just went in to buy one sandwich and some chips. It was your basic sandwich shop experience, but the employee was very nice when I confused two sandwiches and placed an order that didn't quite make sense 🙂. The result was very tasty.

Very good sandwiches. It took me a lot of time to pick the sandwiches for the whole family, but everyone was so patient. Great place. We loved it

Yummy options for everyone! Meat, vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free. If you are vegan, ask before you order. They knew what was vegan ( sauces: none) tans they were helpful in navigating their menu They have 3 pick up spots in front. And they have an end counter where you can pick up your order right when you enter. Plenty of indoor and outdoor dining. Location was clean and accessible. Plenty of parking near store, next to hope thrift and harbor freight. Staff was kind, courteous and upbeat. I ordered my favorite vegetarian vegetable soup and a farmers market sandwich (dry=vegan)on gluten free bread. I watched as they made my sandwich. My mouth was watering and I’m Looking forward to devouring that tasty creation in the sunshine. Only go-better: they could have vegan sauces/cheese.

Very good bagel sandwiches, they have healthy options. Their bagels are made there. They also have amazing fruit tarts pies, I could eat a whole one myself!

the personnel there were super friendly and my order was made quickly. My vegetable soup with a scoop of tomato bisque was delicious, however, my Pilgrim's Progress veggie sandwich what is way to dry. The vegetables were fresh but there wasn't much flavor because there was no secret goo sauce on it and a little too many alfalfa sprouts. I just added some cheese to my sandwich at home though and it was yummy!

Friendly service. The food was good. Well made with good ingredients. Some of the tomatoes weren't as good as they could have been on the "Sea Dog" which was Erik's version of a tuna melt. It was served on sourdough bread that was toasted with red onions, a healthy serving of avocado slices and a good blend of tuna salad. Over all - 4.5 / 5.0 Just make sure you get here before 12:00. At 12:05 this placed get swamped.

This place was 5 stars - about ten years ago. When Erik’s deli had all the old timey decorations, wooden floors, and wooden wall hangings it was top notch. The service and food here was absolutely outstanding. Ever since Erik’s decided to remodel their stores with the cold, unwelcoming, impersonal blueprint that is in most of their locations Erik’s has gone downhill. When I walk in it feels like just another chain restaurant. Since the remodeling Erik’s has become increasingly “corporate”. Food is good, but I feel for the price there are better, more local sandwiches to choose from. Also they don’t give you pickles when you place an online order - what’s the point when your sandwich is literally wrapped in a paper that says “respect the pickle”? Only took us one time of that happening and calling back to have someone tell us “if you want the pickle with your order you have to request it”. So we wrote a special request online today when we ordered. Had my mother in law pick it up and bring it to our house. Guess what, no pickle! I called them back just to let them know and a lady told me “the pickles are in the bag, I put them in myself”. They’re not that’s why I’m calling. “Yes I put them in the bag myself, they’re in there”. The pickle is the last straw. Edit : Timi (the owner) reached out to us and made it right, we will be dining here again!

I want to like Erik's.. I do. I love their sweet Liberty sandwich, I always ask for just a little bit of extra sweet hot mustard and it ends up being enough that it's dripping off the sandwich.. today when I went in a young gentleman was working the counter and had incredible service.. the girl making the sandwiches on the other hand never turned around once while multiple customers came in, and was on a phone call on her cell phone the whole time.. this is the second time I've come in to employees just literally talking on their phones, which blows my mind! I even came into the store instead of mobile ordering in hopes that the little extra mustard wasn't confused into dripping, but apparently it's a losing battle 💔 also, see photo for "light sprouts" lol 💔 the nail in the coffin, when I looked in the bag, I didn't get my pickle slice 💔 lol it's a rough life

I was disappointed I ordered the mandarin salad and when I received it it was just plain oranges. If they did not have mandarin oranges it would have been nice to know I would not have ordered the salad.

Something's going on w the Watsonville location. Ordered a Natural High, like I have for 35 or so years? They gave me a completely diff sandwich altogether. Tried them again a few weeks later, Natural high was huge, dry, no special sauce, didn't taste the same. Will give another try at some point.

We love Eric’s & have been coming for years. This visit was a big disappointment. The tomato bisque tasted like it was watered down. Not like the soup I have had in the past. Very thin, really not acceptable. I was excited to try the return of the “Barn Buster”! Unfortunately, it hardly had any meat on the sandwich at all! The whole meal felt like they are trying to stretch their resources and that they could not match the picture of the sandwich. Over all it was very disappointing! The meal , my husband’s sandwich also was very skimpy and looked like they had been told to hold back on the amounts. This has turned us off.

By far the worst Erik’s location, sadly. Aptos & Capitola are always consistently good, solid sandwiches. Watsonville sandwiches never compare, basically half the meat in their sandwiches as other locations. Ask for extra goo because otherwise the sandwich is dry, guess what they still don’t add it every time & it’s dry. And they never put the pickle in the bag, never. Every other location does so without asking. It seems that whoever runs this location trains their staff like this because they are consistently not on the same level as other locations.

I been coming here for years. Ever since they got rid of Maria the sandwich maker this place went downhill. Liz has probably the worst customer service ive ever seen. Ill never go back
