A unique atmosphere! We had the bacon cheddar burger & French onion soup. Both were very good! For 2 of us the bill was under $35.00. Usually when dining out, it's about $20.00 a person. So not bad. I'd definitely go there again!

Stopped in for dinner on the early side on a Monday - with not many options open on Monday nights, we were happy to try Cobblestone on Main - something new! It was a great evening! The building is beautiful - nicely renovated, the aesthetics are warm and welcoming, and the outdoor space seemed nice, although we didn't sit outside. Having two floors for seating is great, and it seems like the area we sat in had the potential of being a private dining room - nice to have nearby! Service was good, food was delicious. Highly recommend the pou-tots; also tried the cubano, crab ravioli, and salmon entree with bamboo rice and asparagus. All were delicious, arrived promptly, and large portions! Our salads arrived shortly before the meal, but it was fine - server apologized that everything came out altogether. We would definitely return again - it was a nice evening with great food in a beautiful location! Menu looks great - hard to choose tonight, so I guess we'll have to return!

Kudos to the Chef, the food was very good. My husband never finishes his food but tonight he finished his whole plate, he had the Steak excellent. And the chicken wings were cooked perfectly. Clean and friendly. Will be back for sure.

Wow! We enjoyed a wonderful lunch there The Italian meat trio sandwich was heavenly. Wifey's clam chowder was the best I've ever tasted(and I'm not a seafood person). Well be going back there again soon!😋

We tried this place last night for the first time. We were celebrating an anniversary and we loved it. First off, our server Kelly was the absolute sweetest. She gave excellent recommendations when we asked her what we should try. Our favorite recommendation was the nachos - they're wonton nachos! We've never seen that before and they were delicious. They held their crispness better than normal nachos. Our steaks were also very good. We plan on coming back to try the burgers for lunch one day. Kelly told us how they're not your average burger - it's a blend of meats. The wine was great. The atomasphere was great. We're very excited that this new spot is right around the corner.

First time there we enjoyed our dinning experience will go again. !!

Very nice place with friendly staff. Plenty of tables upstairs or down and a few for outdoor dining as well. They also have banquet rooms downstairs for larger gatherings. Loved the decor. My wife and I each had a steak dinner that was very delicious (not a lot of gluten free choices). There is a large bar if your just coming in to hang out for drinks. They have on site parking with plenty of street parking as well.

I have been to Cobblestone several times and honestly all my experiences have been wonderful! I have ordered everything from soup to the Ribeye (med-rare) and Burgers (med-rare) and they have always came out perfectly. The waitstaff have all been exceptional especially Kelly. She was super attentive and answered any questions we had about the menu. Nice to see a place in Webster where food is delicious and service is amazing.

We opted for an early Wednesday dinner and we’re glad we got there a little before five. The place fills up quickly! They’ve done a great job with the remodeling. It’s large warm and open but not noisy. Food and service were exceptional. Thank you Erica. Definitely try the crab wonton appetizer (to share). Yum! Drinks were expensive but inventive and well made. Our entrees were on point. My husband enjoyed his steaks and crab and I opted for the cobblestone salad with scallops. Next time I will try the scallops as an entree. They were perfectly cooked! My only issue with the salad was the “candied cashews” were actually a cashew brittle. Beware if you have dental work! All in all a great evening. We will be back. UPDATE MAY 28: Unfortunately our second visit wasn't quite as wonderful as our first. Erica was still our server and she did a wonderful job, however the food was not up to par. The "After Hours" drink on the menu is no longer available. The crab cake had changed, it was now mostly filler and neither my son nor husband finished theirs, the steak was missing the sauce and did not come out cooked as ordered, bread on the table seemed stale, scallops needed more searing and honey, just watery. Hoping it was just an off night? We'll try one more time.

We have been to Cobblestone maybe a dozen or more times and every single time it’s been a great experience. first and foremost the food is exquisite especially for the price. What stands out the most is the service. I’m so impressed with the wait staff and we always get a table and never have to wait too long. One time they told us a 45 min wait and we were seated in 10 min during one of the busiest holiday weekends on a Friday night. Do yourself a favor and Check it out. You’ll be glad you did!

Mid afternoon visit. First timers. This venue came via a friend's recommendation. We were seated promptly. Our order was taken promptly. We shared a delicious burger that was cooked to order. Very tasty. Booths in their bar area. Additional seating on lower level.

Surprisingly good. If you go at lunch, may I recommend the BBQ Chicken Salad Sandwich.

Went here recently with a group of about fifteen people for a birthday celebration. The staff was helpful and friendly. Kelly makes a killer dirty martini, Hannah was attentive and did a great job, Dan the owner was professional but friendly. Tables were set up for us as needed, the food was great with interesting choices, and the outdoor areas were super. Nice choices of bourbon, also. We will be back. Thank you for a fun evening!

We have eaten here twice and have thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We like to go for an early dinner as it gets rather noisy later. BTW....the crib cakes are excellent. They are an appetizer, but I made them a meal with a side dish.

Went for cocktails and chicken nachos which are not to be missed. Very tasty! They're made just like their picture on their website. Lots of chicken. The queso is delightful

Loved the atmosphere. Very quaint and great place to meet with a small group or a quiet dinner with your loved one. The food is fresh and some homemade options. Pou-tots and clams casino stuffed mushrooms are delish! I would like to see a bit more seasoning on my meal.

I’ve been here for both lunches and dinners, great welcoming staff. Food was amazing and they always seem to have some fun cocktails as well. Live music adds to the already stellar atmosphere of the bar area. What I think I love the most is the fact that the main dinning areas are away from the live music so if you are looking for just a great dinner experience cobblestone can accommodate both…

This is by far one of my favorite places to eat. Lunch & dinner! I love coming here with friends for a quick bite and glass of wine to hanging out with the family and enjoying a good meal together. The shrimp tacos are my favorite, but everything on their menu is pretty good. Their prices are fair for the amount of food you get, and the service is just as awesome! Great all the way around.

Perfect space for a lunch meeting, or grabbing drinks. Service was friendly and prompt. This is going to be my go-to spot for out of town guests visiting Webster.

This was our first experience at The Cobblestone on Main. We sat out on the front patio; great atmosphere, and excellent service. Our server was polite and attentive to all my kids' demands of more ranch. I ordered the French onion soup and crab cakes. Everything was delicious, great portions and homemade. My daughters' had pasta and butter and the chicken tenders; the chicken tenders were homemade and not frozen. My husband had the burger which was cooked perfectly and super juicy. The combinations of the flavor for all our meals were great. All and all an amazing first experience here, we will be back.

Yum. I had the scallops with mushroom risotto and it was exactly what I hoped for. I also started with a delicious cocktail and my husband was pleased to have the Guinness on tap. His fish fry was light and crispy and we enjoyed every bite. The staff were very welcoming and though we were from out of town, they made us feel like regulars.

D

Loved it!! The restaurant is so cute, the staff is attentive and friendly. First time eating here, both had the fish fry. The fish was delicious, so fresh and was one of the best I've ever had. Frys were a bit salty but still good. The unsweetened iced tea is a big NO, tasted weird didn't like. Will definitely return.

Our server/bartender was very friendly and helpful. Our food (steakhouse burger & crispy chicken sandwich)was fantastic and the chocolate cake was delicious. Enjoyed the atmosphere and the music was perfect for a pleasant lunch. Loud enough to enjoy but not so loud that you had to talk over it.

Three of us enjoyed lunch the day after Christmas. It was delicious. We started with an appetizer -- Southwest Chicken Nachos. The fried wonton chips were sooooo good. We each ordered a burger for lunch -- Bacon Cheddar Burger, Steakhouse Burger and Garden Burger. These burgers were HUGE and amazing! While the restaurant was quite busy while we were there, the service we received was great. I can't say enough about the decor of the restaurant. I loved all of it. All of the decor, including the Christmas decor, was absolutely perfect for the space.❤️

My husband and I decided to try this place out after hearing great reviews from friends of ours. It was nice that this restaurant was open on a Monday, as a decent number of non-chain restaurants in the area aren't. Our server, Kelly, was really awesome. She walked us through the menu, offered some suggestions from the menu, and took really good care of us throughout the night. We had all the drinks, napkins, condiments, etc. that we needed. The food was really good too, I always love to see burrata on the menu. We for sure will be back!

S

Joey, our server, was extremely pleasant. The food was very good, seasoned to perfection. The ambiance was very nice. They had candles on the tables, and each candle had 3 recipes on them. They had recipes on the wall. There were cobblestones in the outside walls, hence their name. I highly recommend this place.

M
Mike F

Warm and friendly greeting from the hostess. Joey was a great server who helped my wife figure out her entree. We started with the clam chowder and French onion, which both had amazing flavors. The chowder was thin like a soup but tons of clams and veggies. The French onion had strong beef and caramelized onion flavor with all crunchy bread. Next was the Brisket wonton nachos. These blew us away with the amount of flavor and size of serving - brisket was tender in a smoky bbq with other toppings. Entrees were the hanger steak and meatloaf. First, we will go into the meatloaf - looked like a thick cut steak, but smoked with a great flavor. The potatoes and Brussel sprouts were great sides, but the gravy took the dish to another level. My steak was cooked a perfect medium rare with the Sam Adams flavor shining through. The crispy polenta was crunchy with a nice soft inside, but caution there is rosemary if that's not your vibe. We both had to force ourselves to stop eating. The "get toasty" bourbon drink is also amazing. Servings are huge for the price, including the drink. We can't wait to go back, and highly recommend you to stop in.

Laureen A-P

My husband and I had an excellent dinner which included the pork chop special (with sweet potato fries and Brussels sprouts) and the salmon BLT (with cucumber and tomato salad). A draft beer for him and a glass of red sangria for me! Our server did a good job and there were plenty of other staff passing by if we needed anything. We would highly recommend!

Open space area with both booths and high top tables. Server arrived less than 5 min from being seated so off to a very good start. For drinks, I started with the Peach Tease, peach vodka, raspberry iced tea, and lemonade. Tastes refreshing. Ideal for a summer night. Had the hint of peach and raspberry that pair well together. Mostly tastes like iced tea but you can tell there is a hint of alcohol. Grandma's Pumpkin Pie was a vanilla vodka drink with a pumpkin pie flavoring, and Kahlua. You mostly taste the Kahlua with the hint of pumpkin, which was not overpowering. I'll admit, the flavor overall reminded me of drinking a pumpkin scented candle, so I'd advise to try another drink. The fried calamari taste salty and savory. Crust was lightly crispy and the sauce was delicious but the calamari was good all on their own with their almost sweet meat. The Pout-tots is a take on poutine with cheese curds. Came with a side of warm gravy, ideal for dipping. The tator tots were ok still but then you bring it together with the cheese and gravy and that's when the magic happens. Forgot about the panchetta as they all fell to the bottom. No complaints; saved the best for last. This explains why the tots weren't as salty. If they salted the tots while keeping the panchetta, it would have been overkill. The swordfish entree had a citrusy blackened crust but when cut into, it was incredibly tender and juicy. Not overly seasoned to allow the flavors of the fish to shine through. It but like a medium rare steak. The hot pastrami sandwich is one of those sandwiches where you'll want to cut in half. The pastrami was thinly sliced and tender. The meat just falls apart as you bit into it. The horseradish sauce isn't overpowering. Just gives a slight hint so the flavors are not offensive. Definetly enough to take home as well, assuming you had an appetizer prior. Service was stellar. Portions were large; you'll bring leftovers home.

Cobblestone on Main in Webster really hit the mark! Dan and his daughter Sarah have got their house in order. From the Steak Filet Grinder, to the Maple Bacon Honey Brussels Sprouts, Carrot Cumin Salad Dressing, and Tommy Brunett’s Iron Smoke Distillery Maple Bacon Bourbon. This should be a Guy Fieri “Diners, Drive-ins and Dives” destination! It was a church transformed into a restaurant and the wood architecture is done by a young local - excellent!

We stopped in for lunch and really enjoyed it. Great food, great cocktails, great service. The wedge salad was fresh. Their Bleu Cheese dressing is some of the best in ROC. The burger was juicy and the bacon on it was crispy. We'll be back for sure.

Outstanding place for dinner. Great parking if you are OCD about your vehicle. Draft list is small, but has something for every beer snob. Bourbon list is through the roof, great selection. Cocktails were well crafted. Prices were reasonable, menu items were more upscale than typical bar food. Service was great and the building is much larger than it appears from the street, so seating time was much better than expected. We went in around 5pm on the Saturday before Christmas, and were immediately seated. We liked it so much we bought gift cards for our friends.

A last minute decision to eat here after looking up places to eat in Webster. I really enjoyed the atmosphere. It feels nicely spread out, great music playing, but not too loud, as you can still hold conversations at your table. The staff are really friendly and attentive. I had the salmon BLT with homemade French fries. They were both very tasty. My friend had the sea bass and was also pleased. I’ve already recommended this place to a couple of people. It’s definitely worth checking out. The prices were also very reasonable!

Our first time here, and a wonderful experience. The hostess went out of her way to seat us outside where we wanted to be. The server Joey was friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. The food was tremendous, especially my wife's pork chop. It was nearly 3" thick, cooked perfectly with a pineapple glaze. She said at first that she would never finish it, but loved it so much that she ate it all. Very nice atmosphere inside and out. We will definitely be back. Awesome dinner

After an awful reservation mishap from another restaurant in the area, I called Cobblestone on Main in hopes they could accommodate my party of 12 last minute. They were able to make some arrangements and were confident enough in their staff to make it happen on a busy Saturday night. The fairly priced drinks were delicious and the food was exceptional. The service was outstanding and made us feel like we were the only people in the restaurant when that was far from the case. Anytime I’m in Webster this will my first choice and should be yours, too. I loved this place! Went here on a whim around 6:45 on a Friday night and we were seated immediately. Service was quick and efficient! My "I Deserve a Drink" and crispy chicken sandwich were delicious and my boyfriend loved his pasta dish and generous pour of the Pinot Noir. I also loved the cozy golf vibes of our dining room! Very clean and welcoming. Would definitely recommend!

This was our first date night out in a while and this place was the most perfect place for a night out! First, it’s beautiful! They renovated this place and it’s so nice! Very spacious and tastefully decorated. There was a small wait (20 mins) for a table for two. Our server was very nice. The food was amazing! We had a wonderful time and plan to come back. It is on the pricier side but nothing too crazy for a night out. We had an appetizer and we both had a seafood option for dinner and I had a cocktail and we spent $100. It was really good quality for the price. We will be back.

6/5/21: I visited Webster with my friends. We thoroughly enjoyed our time. The staff were very nice & professional. The food was very 😋 tasty! Huge portions meant only finishing half & taking half home. That means some of the main dishes are half price if you get two meals from 1 main dish, such as the succulent steak 🥩 main dish, which was delicious. & Accompanying asparagus was crunchy & also easy to chew. I liked the 🥔 soup & the 🥗 too. The atmosphere & actual building from the mid 1800s were a delight. The customers all seemed to be happy & enjoying themselves like we did.

Service for taking orders, food delivery to our table and picking up finished plates was very good. The appetizers were flavorful and enough to share for our party of four that we each got some to taste. My entree, steak and cake, a twist on surf and turf was delicious. Perfectly done steak, crab cake was nice in a summer dinner, my sides were broccoli and a sweet potato and pineapple hash. All very good. I had enough to be full but also feel it wasn't too much. My wife had the scallops for the second time she really liked it that much. The orders came out in good time. We ate outside which is right next to the road, so there is the road noise but, I was outside. Next time I will try a table inside. Overall the food was fantastic.

The place is beautiful inside and the food was excellent! Our server was very friendly and accommodated us with five separate checks with a smile! At our table we had 2 sea bass, scallops, salmon and chicken sandwich. I only gave it 4 stars because the portion size of the seabass and scallops was very small. We cleaned out plates and we're still hungry!! Scallop dish had a nice portion of scallops but only one bite of veggie spaghetti, definitely needed more. Sea bass portion was small and veggies were also not enough. All the Food was cooked to perfection!! Oh and the bread was delicious!! We asked for a second serving after we were done eating as 3 of us were still hungry! Lastly, there was no one to greet us when we walked in and rather than just letting us sit we waited awkwardly at the front and it wasn't even busy yet. Again food was fantastic, will try again but will go for a sandwich as that serving size was generous!! Happy for a new place in Webster!!

We've been twice. Great food lunch and dinner. Service is very friendly. We had one issue with soup being served late with not enough time to cool before the main course. Price is moderately high. Wine by the glass is small volume high price. Accessibility for physically challenged is very poor. Most parking is on the lower level then you must take stairs to the upper level for table assignment then likely take the stairs back to the lower level for most seating. We will return for the quality and variety of food. If you have trouble with stairs call ahead for table arrangements.

The night my girlfriend and I went here for dinner, there was live music. For some people, that’s their thing, but not for me. We asked to sit in the back because I don’t want to yell trying to talk to each other. The food was good. My burger was slightly overcooked and lacked flavor. Even ketchup and mustard would have made it better. The shrimp tacos were really good. I’m not a seafood guy, and I thought they were great. I like trying new places, and the food was good, but nothing really wowed me to where I’d be dying to go back. If you’re in Webster and you like the louder tavern-volume atmosphere, give it a shot! Quick service. Tasty food. Loud environment.

We were celebrating my birthday and ordered the 14 oz Pork chop special. The pork chop was delicious as well as the special potatoes. However those were the only 2 things that came with the special, I asked the server if there was a green vegetable that was coming on the side, she said no, I was really surprised green beans or broccoli or some kind of vegetable didn’t come with this dish. For the price of $37.00 I think that was a bit pricey. something to consider.

M
Mary Metcalf

Food was good. Service was slacking. For example, water was not initially offered when we sat down, so I asked for water with lemon and I got water with no lemon. I asked for lemons for my water, finally on the 3rd request I got some. Then no refill was offered and after 2 requests I finally got more water.

N
Nicole Parlato

We had such a nice meal here the other day. The burger was one of the best I've had in a while and cooked perfectly. Their homemade tots were delicious. Portions are large and prices are fair compared to other restaurants and they have a good mix of options on the menu. I am so surprised they were as empty as they were on a beautiful Saturday night. I hope people give them a chance to stay in business. This is a place I can see myself eating at frequently with my family.

M
Matt Ruffell

Not bad. Great service. Some of the food choices are very rich and fattening like the lobster pot pie. The fish fry is good and most dishes are cooked well. I think they would benefit from less frying food and more baking their meals. Update 2026: The food is still very good, however the prices are now outrageous. They also include a processing fee on your bill which probably annoys everyone.

B
Brian B

Overall enjoyable meal. Went in for lunch, and only a few other tables were occupied. Service was fast and friendly. I wasn't a huge fan of the tater tots but the burger was solid and wings were good enough to bring me back on their own.

A friend and I enjoyed dinner for the first time here last night. The drinks, food, and service were all delightful and very enjoyable! We will certainly be back. However, I ordered the peel n’ eat shrimp, excited for one of my southern favorites, but starkly surprised when it arrived covered in a sauce! Now, the sauce may be fantastic on other dishes, but unfortunately I felt it completely ruined the wonderful shrimp. I was beyond disappointed. So close to being able to enjoy a fav…. Next time, no sauce.

Went here for dinner this past Saturday with my wife. The food was okay but the service was ls awesome. I ordered a cheeseburger and it was good, but the bacon was so squiggly and probably cooked for like 5 seconds. Had to remove it from the burger and took off most of the cheese as well, so it was really a hamburger. My wife ordered a chicken sandwich and it was ultra garlicky and she could not finish it. The server though was right on point and I wish I got his name. Overall 3 stars for the food but 5 stars for the service. I would maybe go back again since it could have been an off night for the cook.

Food 5/5 Drinks 2/5 Atmosphere 5/5 Service 1/5 Great place for 6 or more but NOT a date night location. No seating for 2 and was asked to move to the bar on date night with my husband. Mixed drink was almost pure baileys which if that’s your thing it’s not a bad $12 drink but it didn’t taste great to me. I’d go there on a double date maybe, the food was good and unique. Atmosphere was really nice with a modern mixed with antique barn vibe. Fairy lights on the large wooden tables but it DEFINITELY could use some 2 top seating. Our booth would fit 6.

We really like this place, decorative and pleasant. But it took entirely too long to get waited on and for our food and drinks to arrive. My son and daughter in law were visiting from Boston and we thought it would be a great place for lunch. We were the only ones in the entry eating area and we waited 40-45 minutes for our food. The waitress acted annoyed when we asked about our food, (and I said my son would need some crackers or something as he was starving!) then she went and got it. I had the nachos and they were amazing. 👍 (My husband and I have been here 3 times now and each time was very slow)

Numerous tables available. Would not seat us. Claims kitchen backed up. Had to wait half hour to be seated. Been here mutiple times and liked the food. But this was very odd that we would not be seated and a table got seated right before us and were told the kitchen is backed up and there might be a delay with food. We were ok with food delay but the hostess will not seat us. I will not be back at this place even though we like the food.

The restaurant is large and nicely decorated. our waitress was attentive and did a nice job!!! I was surprised that they didn’t have a gluten free menu and could not really recommend anything except salad and burgers without a roll. The ribs were gf after asking so I ordered them, They were tough and fatty not really flavorful. The veggies weren’t very tasty either. The specialty drink called 1919 was good. I hope the food gets better with time and experience and that they development gf menu items. The place is really nice I hope it makes it.

Wine pouring was small and high priced. The menu selection is very limited although it covers most of the food groups. Chef salad was not good and should never have lettuce that is black. This is a turnoff immediately as it means the kitchen is not paying attention to detail. My wife said her hamburger was good, my scallops were acceptable but nothing more. Service was spotty and not very attentive. Server did not realize the salad was not eaten and did not ask why. I would chalk this off to being new but I don't think that is the answer. Management was aloof and did not appear to interact with people that were paying to keep his place open. Probably will not be back, time will tell.

This was our first experience at this restaurant and the food left much to be desired. The best part of the experience was that staff were all friendly and attentive. The bottom level of the restaurant smelled moist and like it had been washed with dirty water. We had fried calamari for an app which was not crispy but more soft. My husband had a burger and fries which were cooked to his liking but not particularly good. I had the tofu farro salad as an entree which was disappointingly bland.

Came in for a dinner on a Friday, we were seated quickly which we were thankful for. We waited a while for our server to approach us but upon first sitting we just thought they were busy. After ordering drinks another table with a different server was sat behind us and was tended to immediately, no biggie our server returned with our drinks and we ordered. The server for the table behind us came to grab their order and was introduced with specials which my husband immediately spoke up and said he wish he knew they had a pork chop special as he would have ordered that instead. Our food came which was amazing everything was cooked perfect and we had no complaints. After eating we were never offered refills on our drinks which we just opted for the check instead of having a few more cocktails and enjoying the atmosphere, we waited for a long time for the check to where the table behind us that sat after us paid and left before we received the check. We left satisfied with the food but less with the service.

Not a fan of the customer service. DeeDee was not attentive or around. She probably spent a total of 10 seconds at our table. I wasn’t even sure if she was our waitress anymore because someone else brought our drinks and then our food. She stopped at the end and made a sassy comment because they gave us unsweetened instead of Raspberry tea (honest mistake, we didn’t care much) but then she made it a big deal. I told her that it happened and she said “unsweetened is all we have” and I said “oh, I’m sorry, I thought you said you had Raspberry and that’s what my husband and I ordered” and she was like “oh, thought you said unsweetened”. But then why did you try to play it off that it was a mistake because “it’s all you had” but then another waitress proceeded to bring us Raspberry. It’s sad because if she was attentive and genuine, this place might have been really great because the food was good and the aesthetic was neat. She definitely made us feel like we weren’t welcomed… considering she was very chatty with the table behind us.

My husband, son and I went here for dinner on a Wednesday night. We sat downstairs where only one more table sat (we did go at 5:00) the vibe of the place was quiet, no music, no chatter and just sat in silence. Kind of weird vibes but we did eat dinner early because of our 10 mo old. Ordered the French onion soup which was really heavy on the rosemary. I’ve never had rosemary in french onion before. Our sandwiches came out (which were delicious!) and our sons buttered noodles came out. Overall the food was good. Our server was very sweet and attentive. I could not get over how expensive our dinner was. Our sons meal was $10! We got buttered noodles and fries. This is by far the most expensive kids meal we’ve ordered out. We go out to eat often - our usual downtown spots. I don’t think we have come close to spending $100 in 40 minutes like we did here. For that price point- I’d expect a bit more out of the overall experience. Quite disappointing as we have been wanting to try this place since they opened.

No handicapped access! Granted, their parking is on the side and rear. There is a handicapped spot on the side in front of the door. There is NO warning that after entering the building it will be necessary to go up a full flight of stairs. Then you get to walk from the rear to the front to get to the hostess station. I can't imagine why they don't have a sign on the door that it is necessary to go up a flight of stairs. Yes, there is a dining area inside the door, but there is no one there! Other reviews point out it is hard to get service there and I expect those are from reviewers who climbed the stairs and went to the hostess station to announce their presence. If there are hidden cameras to alert the hostess, that could be mentioned. This is the hospitality business. How they could be so inhospitable is beyond me. Dinner was rushed by the staff when we said there was no rush. I really like to finish my starter before the main course arrives, but it arrived shortly after the appetizer. The server was very loud. We weren't in the bar area, so I am not certain why. Granted we are old, but it doesn't necessarily follow that old people are deaf. The food was okay. The menu was rather limited. Even without handicapped issues, rushed food and a loud waitress, there would be no real reason to return. There are better places to eat and any number of other places to try. We usually give places a second chance but not this time.

Went on a Thursday night so not overly busy. Sat us in a table in the middle of the floor, next to kitchen so workers constantly going by our table. Seemed to have an excess of employees working. Waited a long time for our food. My Delmonico steak ($50) was not flavorful and had too much fat on it. Garlic mashed potatoes good, received 5 pieces of asparagus. We won’t be going back.

Went in on a whim for taking a date out, knowing that in the past the drinks were decent but the food has been less than impressive. Well - we got sat by the hostess & our watier Ben was very attentive, no problems there. They were busy, but had empty tables. The drinks took 10 minutes to receive (NY Sour & a spritz of sort), and both were lacking. The NY Sour was a splash of sour mix at the bottom and then filled with red wine on rocks. If I posted a pic you would laugh. Told Ben to get a Manhattan and it was bad, vermouth was old and not a balanced drink. Oh well. The dinner was their delmonico steak & asparagus pasta (added shrimp). Just lackluster at best and both dishes got us sick later. Steak had Sysco like quality... Really disappointing for a $100 bill and still tipped 20%. Ben did comp the first drink and we appreciated it. We could have went to many other places and had a far better experience. Want to like the place but it's off our list.

We were excited for our first experience at the Cobblestone in Webster. Parking was easy (plenty space) with easy access from the lot. The decor is comfortable and the vibe laid back. Seating was smooth and the hostess very friendly. So far, so good. We ordered the fried calamari to start because it's one of or favorites. The breading was a little too heavy, which resulted in too much oil on the finish product. For our entree, we went for the pork chop and Chilean seabass (the nights special). The pork chop was wonderful (seasoned well and the temperature well executed). As for the Chilean seabass (a fish I prepare frequently) a tilapia fillet was served. Now, it was good (tasted good and also well seasoned), but it certainly was not Chilean seabass. We wish them the best, however we will not make a second visit.

First time here, and we don't plan on returning. Atmosphere is nice, but they need a better system so people don't have to walk up and down the stairs just to be seated. We ordered the pou-tots, the gravy was very thin. I mentioned it to our waitress, who completely agreed and went to address it with the kitchen. They thickened the gravy, but at that point the tots were cold or eaten. Not once did she mention taking it off the bill, which was beyond shocking to me. Most of the food we ordered was VERY BLAND..just a very underwhelming experience, and we don't plan to return.

I cannot say it is worth the price and the service was lacking. The scallops were tough and didn't really have much flavor. The sandwich was apparently ok. The hostess and service was lacking because it wasn't a busy night and you could hear them gossiping. You guys hire some thirsty people, because they stood there for 10 minutes drooling over the new bartender and you could hear the way they talked about him. I'm sure if it was men talking about a female bartender the way they did, there'd be a hullabaloo about it. Learn some manners and take the gossip to the back.

2 out of 3 of us were at the restaurant at 4:30 on a Friday. Pretty much empty. We could not sit at a table until the 3rd person arrived. 3rd person ordered a drink, and the appetizer came before her drink. Appetizer arrived, wait staff said “calamari?” We said yes and she put it down with 2 dishes! !?!! Dinner was ordered, when it arrived we asked for grated cheese and crushed red pepper. 10 minutes later, we got a dip container of grated cheese and a pepper grinder… 5 minutes later the crushed red arrived because the help staff said he didn’t know if they had grated cheese and crushed red. Your staff needs to learn the ropes! Won’t be back!

This place looks beautiful, nicely decorated and inviting. We didn't have a chance to try the food because we left after sitting with nothing in front of us for 15 minutes waiting for a waitress while the hostess stared off into the distance.

We went in for lunch and the atmosphere was nice. The service was slow, the food was cold and not edible. When we informed the staff, they did not care. We will not be going back.

I never write reviews, but truly this was a bad experience. I took my boyfriend out for his birthday, and he ordered a burger and stated he wanted it medium rare. The burger was completely rare. The waitress argued with us about how the burger was fine to eat, even though he politely informed the waitress about the rare meat he received. Weren’t even looking for a discount, we thought we were being nice by telling them, but didn’t even receive a “sorry” …just a “well you ordered medium rare”.

My family and I had dinner here tonight for the first time. Quality food and service go hand in hand to create a great meal, ours’s had neither. Our server dropped off drinks and never came back to check if we needed refills. It wasn’t busy and many tables were open and it seemed that there was allot of people working there. Our food arrived after a very long wait to our confusion because we had ordered an appetizer. The two confused kids that brought us our food said the server would be over. Several minutes went by and the server frantically asked if we still wanted it and assured us it would be out very quickly. Well we were done with our meal and several minutes later they brought our appetizer and to our dismay after such a long wait it was so full of grease it was uneatable. My wife ordered a steak and asked for it medium well, it was nearly raw in the middle and she is very sensitive to that so she was still hungry when we left. My son said his pizza tasted funny, I tasted it and it indeed was not good. I will say that I enjoyed the meatloaf that I got and it was different and quite good. Overall I would not recommend this place and it’s rare I take time to write a review but the horrendous service we had really put a bad meal over the edge. There where also to young boys that worked there that must have walked by our table over 20 times tripping each other and slapping each other which was also very annoying and unprofessional. Save your money or spend it somewhere with good food and competent wait staff.

Congratulations. The toughest piece of shoe leather disguised as corned beef. Try as I might, it was literally inedible. The fried potatoes that came with it were good so it wasn't a total loss. Got the stuffed mushroom appetizer. The filling was good but the mushrooms were barely cooked. My wife got the chicken salad which she said was good but the bun was greasty. All in all, you could say this was not a good experience...

Live and learn, the food was way more expensive than it's worth. This place is for the snooty patooty that wants to feel impressed they can eat there. I couldn't pre-order dinner until 4:00 and I was going on vacation and only wanted to leave my order so I could pick it up on my way out. I ordered scallops, it showed six and I got five. Do they not know how to count or did someone help themselves? Meals2Go would have been a better choice.

Restaurant was almost empty, took over an hour to get our food for a table of four. The two chicken parm dinners were cold, like they had been sitting a half hour before they were brought to our table. Waiter didn’t seem to care one bit. We’ve eaten here many times in the past and had a great experience, won’t be coming back after tonight.

In town, wanted a new place to eat and decided on The Cobblestone for some take out and a relaxing night. However, I did not think my night would turn out with my vehicle, clothes and floor of the lobby soaked in soup because the bags weren’t properly packed and the soups were literally just strewn about every which way. Everything is covered… the bag completely fell apart as I was walking in the the hotel I am staying at. My fingers are sticky as I write this! Absolutely absurd and a waste of money. I don’t even care to eat because I’m so livid.
