I recently dined at La Bottega with my wife and had a truly wonderful experience. This cozy and quaint Italian restaurant in Garden City offers a delightful atmosphere that is perfect for a romantic evening out. We were impressed by the attentive and friendly service from the moment we walked in. The waitstaff made us feel welcomed and attended to throughout our meal, adding to the overall enjoyment of our dining experience. The menu at La Bottega features a variety of delicious Italian dishes, but what truly stood out were the Bistecca a Zola and Salmone e Pere that we ordered. The Bistecca a Zola, a perfectly roasted Angus steak with mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, Gaeta olives, sautéed onions, gorgonzola, and balsamic dressing, was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The Salmone e Pere, grilled salmon with baby spinach, endive, pears, toasted pecans, red beets, cherry tomatoes, and raspberry dressing, was a delightful mix of fresh ingredients that left us wanting more. Not only was the food delicious, but it was also reasonably priced, making La Bottega a great value for the quality of dining experience it offers. Being close to home, this restaurant has now become one of our favorites for a special night out. Overall, La Bottega exceeded our expectations with its wonderful flavors, attentive service, and charming ambiance. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fantastic Italian dining experience in Garden City.

I gave 5 stars to the food which is excellent but yesterday we had to wait a long time to pick up our order, people were lined up and the person taking phone orders was doing their best to take the calls and try to bag . We wish she had help and finally did when another person stepped up to help. It's understandable things may take longer but when told 15min and people waiting in car hard. Again food EXCELLENT I'm happy to change the rating

Love this place, they have an extensive Panini selection and will create ones just the way you want. Salads & Soups are super delicious too. Great for a ladies lunch or family dinner. They offer catering too. A real gem and consistently great food. I have been going for years!!!

My lovely lady and I have come here for quite awhile now. I’ve only ever gotten paninis, and for good reason they’re the best thing since ever. The bread is perfect, always hot and crisp. They offer so many different options, lots of meats and vegetarian options too. Bread and oil while you wait is a nice touch. Only downsides: if you sit in, there are tiny fruit flies everywhere, probably due to the oil. Also the other day I felt kinda gross for about 18 hours after having a turkey sandwich, but c’est la vie. Decent service, cozy place

Slooooooow !!! Unless the nonna was making the small soup from scratch, not sure why it took THAT long... maybe frozen food? Quality/ price not matching here!

They move very slowly. If you want to eat, you should place your order two days in advance. Otherwise, you’ll have to wait two days after you arrive.

I was in there last Friday on Sept 26th. I will not be going back or recommending this place ever again because of Cindy M. She messed up our order, I asked as nicely as possible about correcting it and she could not have been any more rude and nasty. Not sure why someone with that kind of attitude would be dealing with customers.

$22 for 4x pieces of butternut squash ravioli. Save yourself the money and go to Trader Joe's for 3x the amount $5.99. Rest of the food was good. Customer service 0/10. Offered an email instead of clarity on menu or refund. You can do better.

Ordered on uber eats. First of all, 21 dollars for a burger is insane. No option to remove sauce off of the burger and they dont even tell you it comes with sauce. And then after all that. 21 dollar burger that i ordered well done, comes RAWWW. COMPLETELY RAW AND DISGUSTING. Now i gotta cook my own burger that i paid 21 dollars for. Got a refund from uber eats and im never coming here again. Disgusting.
