Love this place! Good food
Just out running this morning on our first day holiday in LA from London England. LA Conversation Cafe was so welcoming and hospitable. Posted this to say thank you
The turkey burger is the best and the sweets! White chocolate macadamia nut hearts and the chocolate chip cookies are my absolute favorites!
Awesome salads...and the pastries are 10 star off the map. Even the plain croissant is a work of art...then you add Chocolate...Wow!
Excellent service and friendly! The attention was so good. The food was ymmmmmmmm..! Try breakfast here!
The pastry is always awesome!! Never disappointed! Service impeccable and beautiful place!! Totally recommended if you like pastry!
Dante's special is fantastic. And Sundays you get a pastry basket to start your meal on the house!
Possibly the best cafe latte place in L A. I love their filet mignon quesadilla with all the fixings. Mmhhm
Amazing tasty croissants! A must stop for breakfast and pastries!
Great local bakery/Cafe. Prefect for breakfast or lunch if you are not in a rush.
Always delicious and the staff is super friendly! The croissants are insane!!

Great shaded outdoor seating. Good coffee too.
Warm and cozy ace that serves great food, indoors and out.
If you're looking for authentic French pastries and cakes, you must visit La Conversation, a fabulous family & female-owned bakery and restaurant that originated in Philadelphia and had shops in Los Feliz and West Hollywood since 1982. When the previous owners closed, former employees Michelle and Xochitl became co-owners at this Pico location, and brought with them Pastry Chef Lupe (Michelle's mom) and Manager Nubia (Michelle's aunt). Everything they prepare in-house is amazing, but my favorites are the Macadamia Heart Madeleines (dipped in dark chocolate or white chocolate), the Hazelnut Tea Cakes, Glazed Croissants and the Almond Pear Tarts. I couldn't be happier for these lovely women, who have created a warm, inviting new place for us to sit and have coffee and food that's so good, you'll want to take a box of treats home with you.. :)
Pastries are delicious, they have so many options to choose from and they are all good. Breakfast was really good and portions were perfect, not too big but definitely filling. Very friendly staff. Will definitely come again.

For the past 17yrs, this little jewel of a bakery became a home away from home. Unwaivering deliciousness in the French Pastry Arts along with truly memorable experiences over the years. Mr. Carson, Nubia and staff: Bravo, Thank You for EVERYTHING you have shared over the years and a heartfelt "farewell to arms MES AMIS." To those who can relate to the experience of the location, the delectable scents of freshly made happiness in a croissant, the lingering memories, when of all things, a pastry made the world seem whole again; we can commiserate about our collective loss and somehow find the strength to move on but there is no substitue.......not in Los Angeles anyway.....
I absolutely love this place. The decorations and tables are so cute. The food is incredible and the pastries and cakes are too die for.
This place was featured on eye on LA and I am so glad I went to this Quaint little French themed breakfast restaurant very small tables here but the food was actually pretty delicious. The iced crescent was simply devine! The only complaint that I have is that I wish I had discovered this place sooner! I definitely will be going back.
This cozy (but not cramped) cafe has attractive outdoor and indoor seating as well as good service but what makes this place shine is the phenomenal quality of its pastries, especially their hearty, savory croissants and their chocolate croissant. In fact, their chocolate croissants are better than any pain au chocolat that I have had in Paris!
Amazing food and nice stuff. I love that you get a little treat like muffins and other small things before your meal. They have a nice ambiance and it's just perfect for breakfast <3
So happy to see this fabulous bakery reopen in Los Angeles with the same excellent customer service and superb food as before and by the same super friendly family staff. Love it.
This is a must visit place, it has a very cool story behind it. Won't give the secret or story away so you have to visit. You won't regret it. I am a vwry pickey guy. La Conversation the manager owner what can i say he takes pride in his dream.
Tasty food and very nice wait staff. Outdoor seating is great as well. Delicious croissants and muffins served before food.
The best! Love the currant star cookies and the eclairs and the frosted mini croissants.
Best Cafe in West Hollywood. Its kind of in a weird spot and parking isn't the best but it's totally worth it. The pumpkin pancakes are delish and so are any of there pastries. Love how fresh everything is. Great quality food and very well prepared.

Good pastries good service
Nice place to eat and chat. Close to Pride Parade.
The cake was okay. Mostly went for the chance to rub elbows with a celebrity.
Excellent place for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. Food is always good and outdoor seating ia a plus.
Best food Great service Ethnically diverse I love Dante's special😆
Fun sidewalk Cafe near Cedars! Great food.
My first time at this location. I used to frequent this cafe when it was in Los Feliz. Still delicious, still good service, still charming ambiance. Will be back!
A local West Hollywood Hole in the Wall Cafe on Doheny that specializes in French oriented coffees pastries and light entrees. The staff is on top of things and is very attentive to the customers. The pastries are especially good and making lovely compliment to the coffee, which comes in all the typical Cafe varieties. Parking is limited so you may have to park on Doheny or in one of the neighborhoods on the west.
So even though it says La conversation Cafe they have a huge amount of pastries and it seems more like a bakery than a conversation Cafe. On the bakery part though they do have a lot of really good and really tasty sweets and pastries and all kinds of cakes and cookies. They also have a fair amount of room to sit down so perhaps that's why it's considered a conversation Cafe
First time here. Pass it often always packed. Had the Monte Cristo sandwich. Which was the best I've ever had. And the complimentary pasties are amazing. Highly recommended if your in Beverly Hills/Weho area.

La Conversation si desean UN cafe con UN desert esta bien pero cenar para dinner i es muy mediocre nada especial,El servicio es pobre, necesitan mejorar tanto comp la comida y El servicio.
Not so happy with the food and the service. The decoration inside is good but the rest mediocre.. There are other places in the area much much better with better service.
Just went there for a quick coffee. Coffee was nice and the ambient is kind of French. Service was friendly but not very quick.
Friendly service but food was very meh. We ordered the eggless burrito, which was flavorless and unappealing looking.
The pastry I got here was amazing - a very chocolatey chocolate croissant. I was unimpressed with the omelet I ordered though - it wasn't all that flavorful and it seemed like it had unseasoned tomato sauce on it.

I drive by here almost daily and expected it to be much better than it was based on the activity. Everything was just okay, which was disappointing for the cost. I'm not sure how it got a $ rating. It should be $$ or even $$$ for a meal. Maybe the bakery counter brings down the overall cost profile.
I got the Kelly blt wrap and it was flavorless. Came with a wilted salad. Friends got eggs Benedict and disliked it. Other friend got a quiche and loved it, so uhhh I guess get the quiche if you find yourself here?

This is poor excuse for a Monte cristo sandwich -and certainly the most overpriced one to boot-. Traditionally, a Monte Cristo sandwich is dipped in its entirety in egg batter and pan fried, though it may also be deep fried. This sandwich decided to skip all of those important steps and throw it self together with a couple pieces of flavorless cake bread. I’m very disappointed. Furthermore, the guy behind the counter didn’t seem to even listen to my complaints about the food. My server-same guy- was aware that I was sitting with a friend eating. Yet he brought my food to the table in it to go bag. I did not order the food to go. One of the worst dining experiences ever.
