Food is great and is spicy just the way I like it!
This is a take out only restaurant. The owner is super friendly. The food is very authentic and reasonably priced. Portion size is generous. Love this price and will come back again. The Asian style fried egg is... Soooo yummy!
Have been picking up takeout from this neighborhood staple for 26 years and I know people who have been eating here since 1990. D Thai Chinese is apparently a one-woman operation; the owner takes orders, cooks, serves etc. all by herself, and she is so sweet and friendly. I can only respect how D Thai's prices remain lower than other Thai/Chinese places in the area, although the prices have been raised in the last year or so (two dollars up per lunch and dinner special). The quality of the food however has remained reliably good, fresh cooked to order, and flavorful. I don't know enough about Chinese or Thai cooking to comment on how authentic it is, but it's pretty good in my opinion and that's what matters most to me. I've tried most of the menu over the years and the standouts to me are the fried rice, thai basil chicken, mongolian beef, beef salads, and pad see ew. The majority of the menu is four stars, but those are the five star items in my experience. Be advised, cash only and takeout only! For what it is -- a takeout Asian hole-in-the-wall restaurant -- D Thai is a respectable local treat that I will allow myself pretty regularly within my budget. Since the owner lady is so likeable and impressive, and the food is plentiful and decent quality for your dollar, I have to rate this place five stars overall. Thank you, nice owner lady, for your years of providing your good food and service to Westminster's hungry and grateful people!
Friendly, fast & fabulous! You can tell that the food is cooked with love. Walk-up cash only. I had the pork larb and it just hit the spot. Such good flavor. This is a true golden hole-in-the-wall find. I'll be back every time I'm in town.
I love coming here, it's my goto spot when I have a craving for Thai and it's nearby which is a plus. Tim is the best, she is so sweet and funny, I like to call in my order and then I go and talk with her as she cooks me my meal.
Was working nearby and found this on google maps. My co worker and I were pleased with the home made style food. Our dish was house made from scratch. Ill be back.

I like how she is super friendly and sweet. She only takes take out order and she cooks right away when she takes an order, so food was very fresh and good. I like how the foods are not too salty nor bland. Highly recommend!
Best Thai food in Westminster! I’ve been coming here for years, and love supporting the small business. The owner cooks all the food by herself, and you can tell it is made with love. Affordable prices and great quality food. I love the chicken panang and the pad Thai!
Absolutely love this place. Real authentic small home style vibes. This lady has the flavor down. So good. My go to spot... plus I like her, the cook.... she's a kind friendly person. I prefer her thai food over others... just is so flavorful. I have nothing but positives all around for this place
One-Woman show, y'all! And she is AMAZING! As a first-time customer, I didn't know what to expect. I ordered 6 items: Pad Thai; chicken green curry; Spicy fried catfish; pork larb; shrimp salad; and Thai chicken wings. They were ALL SUPERB! I love spicy with sour and some of the dishes I ordered were a perfect combo of that. I don't live around there, but I'm grateful that I have family that I visit around there. D Thai Chinese Restaurant is a place I'll be ordering from for as long as it's there!
I love this place. Just found it. Hole in the wall is correct and I mean that in every possible good way I can mean it. You get to meet the cook and she rings you up. No formality here at all. Very small sitting area, and nice prices. NOT FANCY. I ordered the green curry with pork and it comes with a small rice for 8 bucks and 4 bits. Perfect. Tasted great.

The food is made fresh to order and is hot, the woman who runs the place is very nice. I'm only giving it 4 stars because I ordered vegetable chow mein that was more like spaghetti noodles with some oil and steamed veggies. I will go back to try some other items as I know vegetarian dishes can be challenging.

If some friends hadn't told me about this place I never would've even bothered with this tiny, unassuming place next to a donut store. Sure enough, ONE lady runs the whole joint, and she's as nice as she can be. I've been here for dinner twice now (one of the very few who actually dine in--a bulk of their business does seem to be takeout) and both have been very good experiences. It's like going over to a kindly aunt's place; everything tastes homemade. Nothing fancy about the decor or food, but the place is clean and the food is solid. So far I've had the beef chow fun, pad thai, crab fried rice and egg rolls--all good. Thai iced coffee was delish as well. It's not the best place if you're in a hurry, but if you've got the time it's worth a stop.
The owner is always so passionate about her recipes to the point where she will make even custom items off menu. Just back in town and it was so nice to know this place is still around. Great food!

Everything but the beef was perfect. The beef was too dry and chewy. Plenty of parking in this plaza that looks stuck in the 80s.
I read the reviews and was enticed to go in and try it. I ordered about $100 worth of food to go to feed a large group. I spent some time in Thailand and expected more flavor although, it was just adequate. For the price the quantity was chinchy at best, and certainly wasn't as pictured. Stay away from the Tim Yum.
