Credit where credit is due. 6pm, getting slammed in the drive-thru, cars almost in the road waiting to get in. Cars stopping and driving away. Some jerk orders who knows what, refuses to pull up and that line waits 10! minutes for one customer at the window. A soon as that customer leaves, "bam", "bam", "bam", they rock the window. Got our order correct and even gave us extra nuggets for the wait.
Great food, good service. Dining area not clean.
I love this restaurant I use my app and get my 3 dollar whopper on wensday and its alot of smiling faces as you enter the door, and great milk shakes they even made me a.vanila and chocolate shake

Went through drive through, we got a spicy chicken and regular chicken sandwich meals. They were the best chicken sandwiches we have eaten.Hands Down it beat Chic Filet, Popeyes, Wendy's and the rest. Thanks for a great lunch.
Have not been to BK in a long time. I must say I don't understand why there are not as busy when I went. Remodeling looked great and food was fantastic for fast food. Waited almost 30 secs to a minute to get two meals? I call that faster food. Will return soon!
This was actually a good experience all around, with food prepared well and fresh. It was kind of shocking. This was 6/25/23, approximately 230 pm. There was even a line, and food was great. A rarity from other Burger Kings.
The Impossible Whopper was so good! I also loved the cheese sticks. I could have taken them hotter, but the sweet tea was so good and the customer service was so great that all is forgiven. Our visit to Burger King was one of the highs of the beginning of a day of traveling.
I ordered on the BK app and made a mistake and they fixed it for me with out any issues and explained to me what happed! It was a large order as well would have costed me another $30. Keri handled it for me and was polite and courteous through the entire process!
4/7/2024 5:14pm the gentleman working the window saved the experience. I had a 20 minute wait time, but this young man went above and beyond. He got toys for my upset kids and got me back in a good mood. 10/10 keep this young man!!!!!
I will drive several miles just to reach this store. I've never had an issue with this location. I've come here many times and will continue to do so. The parking is good and the staff are great. I highly recommend coming here if you want BK it's worth coming here bypassing the others in the area.
I have never bothered to write a Google review until this moment. Travis was the most hospitable and honest person who we have ever had the pleasure of ordering from. He made sure that we had a good deal on the meal we ordered, reducing our order price by half for the same items. The staff here seems really genuine and they care a lot about serving their clients. This is the best Burger King I have been too, and I can’t believe it’s in Roanoke!
The whopper was like the original picture and full, tasty 😋 like they were meant to be. Did not cut corners on lettuce, tomatoes, or pickles. Perfect mayo and ketchup on the bun. I had to call the manager and thank her She was very professional and happy, I got it my way, the right way.
The late night drive-thru attendant was nice and greeted me with a smile. Request for extra ketchup was easily accommodated. The food was warm and fresh.
I've had nothing but excellent experiences with this BK. The food is consistent. My orders have been correct. The staff I've interacted with are on top of getting orders out while also being kind.
Fantastic breakfast. Food is always great. Love me some croisanwiches...Jaylon is great. Always smiles and treats you really good. Honestly, never had bad food or service here. Visit at 2 or 3 times a month.
I made an online order because I have Walmart + and they give you 25% off online orders. I was hesitant to do so because I didn't even know BK did that. I'm glad I tried it because the food came out great. I was most impressed on how they packaged it. They got everything right and put it in a convenient bag even with drink holders. The woman at the counter was also very nice when I picked it up. I will definitely continue to order online with the Walmart discount.

Food was great, and our cashier was very pleasant and friendly. Some areas were not very clean at all - bathroom(pieces of sink pipe on the floor, soap was low and sanitizer was empty) and especially the beverage station.
Instead of drive through, we went inside to eat. Right when we were infront to order. The staff great us with smile and some information about they don't have any ingredients for such. Well, all the ingredients she mentioned didn't apply to our order so we were okay. The only thing was they ran out of ketchup, which my kids like to have. But other than that. We were okay with our food without ketchup. The food were tasty anyway. And Staffs were friendly.
Honestly, with others getting stingy with ingredients, not bad! Service ranges from fast to slower.
I like going inside to order for takeout. I have only bought breakfast items recently. But you have to be careful that what exactly you ordered is what they prepared, so check the food in paper bag before leaving
Quick food. I stopped to try the Cheetos Chicken Fries. They were burnt. Tried to use the restroom and found the staff hiding out so they didn't have to work. I was the only person in the restaurant, not like they were busy.
Normally I'm a big fan of Burger King. Going through the drive-thru today they had some issues with their computers. We were unable to use our debit card. I was certainly unable to have it my way. Good thing I had cash.

The food was good. But if I walk into a restaurant and I see the employees with their pants halfway down their rear end, no way. If I was the manager I would fire them so fast your head would spin how dare you walk around the restaurant like that as an employee. Burger King needs to fire these people immediately.
I don't understand why they have one person working both drive-thru windows. They go back and forth between the payment and pickup windows to take payment and then give out the orders. I'm sure it has to do with their drive-thru timer and wanting to appear to be giving a good customer experience, but it actually works the exact opposite way. If I have to wait 3 or 4 minutes for someone to take my payment and then another couple of minutes to receive my order at the pickup window (because they are at the payment window taking the next order), it gives the customer the opposite experience than they are trying to fake in their time monitoring system. Either offer enough money to staff the place correctly or close the doors. We're no longer in a pandemic. Get your shit together.
Food is good. Made online order 30 mins B4 arriving. They was still preparing order. There was no1 in the deep frying area. Too many employees standing around doing nothing. Someone eventually put fries in the basket for the deep fried but just let it hang there over the grease without dropping it in. Management seemed to busy cleaning the milkshake machine or something and teaching others why it's important to clean yet was poorly at directing them to do something. They all looked like they was clueless on what order to do. It wasn't busy here.
Burger was decent, which is the only thing earning stars. Cashier entered order wrong, which delayed prep even slower. Waited 20 min for cheeseburger with only mayo.

Very slow service, charged my card the wrong amount (more than my actual order) and made my burger incorrectly. Kind of a cluster there today! The employee at the window was nice though.
This particular BK had not so good service. Coffee did not taste good, food was cold, wait was too long for fast food, manager got snippy about coffee complaint, and service was lackadaisical effort for all employees that dealt with us.
Don't place a Burger King sign on highway 81 when you are two miles off the highway and then I had to stay 10 minutes in the drive through when there were only two cars ahead of me I waisted half hour of my time just to get to go to the place and go back but sandwiches and food were fine. The people are very nice but service is so so slow that we have had to find other places to have lunch bc of the very long wait for food. Usually one person on register and one cooking from what I can tell. Maybe one on drive thru? I miss you Burger King. If you need a job go apply there!
My wife and I come here alot and here lately we have been getting patties that are over cooked. We spend a good amount of money on a meal and this is what they give us. .... I'm sure if the employees was going to fix them a burger for there break or there families it would be better quality. I understand about trying to serve fast by cooking up patties ahead of time but damn at least change out the old ones. But I just for got who I was talking to part times. I'm done with coming here again.
Buns on the whopper were cold and the meat was rather dry like they had been precooked for several hours. Not juicy at all like so many others I've had. My coupon code would not go through their system for some reason which only delayed ordering considerably. Get to the window finally and only to find out we could only use 2 coupons in the drive through, I had 3 coupons and screaming kids by now so we had to pull around and my wife had to go inside for our order. Manager was haphazardly winging it and seemed poorly trained and it just trickled down to crew.
I have been to the bk on Williamson three separate times in the last two months. The staff are descent, but they never have the icecream machines running. Ever since this whole isolation thing started all I wanted was a milkshake. The last time I was there I asked an associate why, they said it was always going down, especially when there large orders, almost like they purposely let machine breakdown so they don't have to make them. If you are not going to offer a standard item on a list, why have the item listed. I understand everyone is dressed this is a hard time and a milkshake is a silly thing to get upset about. But I feel like we can control the small things...w/e I guess it does not matter...I'm just going to have to find them somewhere else...good luck bk...I hope you guys make it through this madness.
The staff at night were a big no for me.
Ordered doordash and the chocolate shake had all the chocolate syrup in bottom of cup. NOT MIXED OR BLENDED. WHOPPERS HAD STALE BUNS. THEY WERE NOT GOOD. NOT AGAIN
The people working here are so rude! Not a good place to eat in at. They talk and laugh so loud like they are at a party or something. The woman in the front didn't even acknowledge we were there!

I just bit into a whooper with barbecue sauce instead of ketchup. The oil also needs to be changed out. Please get the crew back in there that knew what they were doing. They are the only reason customers started coming back.

This has got to be the nastiest Burger King that I have ever been in. I had to ask if anyone was going to take our order...then when I went to get my drink a swarm of knats came at me. Lazy workers and nasty Burger King. No way did I eat the food. I took it to my dogs .
Treats their employees terrible and their customers even worse. I have multiple friends and family members that have worked at this specific establishment. When they fired one person the manager tried to steal her car and house keys assuming they were the store keys. They were going to call the cops on her for trying to get their employees the right pay. They make people work up to 14 days straight because a new company bought the line of stores, the one was fired wrongly as said above. When I went in to get food they acted like I was acting for a lot just because I wanted a plain chicken sandwich. Their teenage employees sit around on their cell phones and commicate with customers even when their are people at the register needing food. Will not visit again.
This place is filthy. We were given the wrong order through the drive through. Came back and it manager and workers were holding the door open while they smoked, floors were nasty, flies were everywhere. We decided that we owe the drive through person a thank you as we decided they could keep our order.
3 of the last 6 weeks my wife and I rode out here for breakfast just to have the doors locked and no one come to he drive thru speaker. Honked horn. Knocked on doors. Saw people inside but they would not come to the doors or let us know what was going on. Finally called them today. Asked rhetorically if they were open. The answer was no. Our broiler is broken. Considering the vast majority of food from this place come from the broiler. This is a huge red flag. Very unprofessional that they aren't even displaying that they are closed until lunch. Extremely let down but a chain that you'd think would have more organization that this. And if the problem has been evident for 6 weeks. You'd think a replacement would be ordered or the original would be fixed. Makes me wonder about our her aspects of the business. Google made me put one star but it's way less than one star
Subpar location and poor customer service. Update 8/14/2020: Sign says drive thru open, doors are unlocked with people inside. Pull up to drive thru at 2:40PM. Wait 5 minutes. Someone comes over the speaker and says "We ain't takin orders." I said "Are you open?" Response was "Yea, but not for orders."
Let's just say this place doesn't even deserve one star! They are absolutely horrible. We live close by, so it is a quick stop when we are in a hurry. EVERY single time we have been there, they were out of fries or mess something up. They need to fix it and fast because it's ridiculous!
Burger King is definitely not the king of burgers a. the bun on the burger is always stalled and cracks the chicken is cold and it doesn't really matter what Burger King go to it's all the same and the employees are always seem lost
Asked for spicy chicken sandwich meal and the chicken was old and rubbery when we went back to complain and asked for a fresh one they said they didn't have anymore thawed out. I settled for a Whopper. Very disappointing
Awful!! Asked for no onions on Burger.. Waited 10 min in drivethru..only one car ahead of me. Girl took my debit card was rude.Got home food was cold and burger was covered in onions.We will go to Wendys for now all!! Spent all the money on a remodel but still cant hire decent help.Very frustrating experience
This place turns into a circus in the night...today Dec 12 we went to order and they said can't serve fries or onion rings. Asked for a substitution, there was none. Customers are leaving right and left, they appear too lazy to make sides!
This one on Williamson rd is so terrible, always dirty. Seems unmanaged everytime I go in there. And everytime I pull in the lot, there is a least 1 or more employees standing outside smoking, and you have to wait for them to finish, then they walk in, and don't wash their hands. I ended up throwing my food away. I've never seen the fast food restaurant or other restaurants where that every time I go in there the employees are standing outside smoking that's why they don't get any cleaning done in the dining area because they're busy smoking when they're not cooking are waiting on customers. It's the nastiest restaurant I've ever went to. It doesn't deserve any stars in my opinion.
SO slow, took almost 20 minutes just to get 2 burgers in the drive-thru. Then, every aspect of my food is both cold and inaccurate .Waste of time and money-- I saw the bad reviews but my daughter was craving BK so I gave it a shot, since it was the only one on our way, but I regret that choice 100%
Nowhere, in all of Roanoke, have I seen a place so slow - both drive-thru and inside. It is right outside of my job, so I take my clients there regularly upon their request. I have had half a client session in my car waiting in this drive thru for half an hour with just 3 cars ahead of me. I'm currently standing in line, writing this review, after having waited for 15 minutes, with 3 people in front of me. We JUST got through with the cashier. We haven't even gotten our food yet. Mind you, everyone in front of us had small orders. This place is sad, I don't understand how they're renovating inside - they should be closed down.
First off, after three times of going here and giving the benefit of the doubt, I won't be going here anymore. First thing, I love sweet tea and they have given me unsweet tea or a pitiful attempt at sweet tea. Im not sure which. None of them had any ice. Secondly, after waiting in a two vehicle line for 10 minutes I get whoppers that look like they were assembled in 10 seconds and the patty was cold. I hate to not go to this place anymore but after three attempts and getting the same results each time, they won't have my business anymore.
Whoever was in charge of closing tonight is lazy & doesn't deserve to work. It says open til 11pm. I went through the drive thru at 10:30pm nobody took my order all the lights were on inside & some guy was sitting at one of the tables. If you're sign says open til 11pm find someone who actually wants to work & not hire lazy employees who refuse service & ignore customers. I'd give zero stars if I could.
We ordered two original chicken sandwiches, both of which were cold as if they sat on the counter for hours. The concern for bacteria is high due to this. Last trip to Burger King for us.
Does it makes sense after you toast bread to mess the sandwich up putting in the microwave.....too hot to eat..then when it cools gets hard..in 2mins...stop microwaving after you toast...put the cheese on the fresh hot patty to melt...i thought it was a bk policy not to microwave food! Tired of it.
I just stopped for iced coffee. I sat in the drive thru for over 20 minutes there were only 4 cars in front of me and 1 left in front of me and three left behind me. You all are losing business because it is so slow. I hardly ever complain but this is absolutely crazy. Don't come here if you want fast service.
One of the worst burger kings in the area. Sodas had no cO2, lids and straws were not stocked, tables were sticky and disgusting, and the cashiers and managers were RUDE. I'll never go back to this one!! Drive thru was "broken". I can see now it probably wasn't broken, the lazy people working there just didn't want to do the work!!!!
I just ordered a burger from this place I specifically said no mayo I don't understand where the issue was because no mayo it's pretty simple however all of these ppl wanted to give out raises to minimum wage workers and they can't even get the no mayo order correct like they get paid extra for an easy job yet my pay didn't go up cuz I make above minimum wage that I worked hard to achieve however because of this everything else went up including their food prices yet I can't even get an order with a simple request of no mayo if anything it's like they added extra mayo!! I haven't eaten at a burger king in years now I remember why smh
The cashier was very rude and distant. She did not even ask if we wanted any condiments. I asked her what her name was and she rolled her eyes and stated her name. Everyone deserves to work but not everyone wants someone's negative energy. I will never go here again.
Absolutely the WORST SERVICE I have ever received. Employees and Management are fully unaware of how to do there jobs and have horrible customer service. Do not use there online app because they will tell you they did not receive your order because they don’t have an app and then proceed to say when you call them to try and receive corporate’s information for a refund after leaving that the orders are now magically working on the app they apparently do not have.
This is not the first time that this restaurant scammed the burger. My son went there with a coupon last time and they said they do not take coupon which is a lie because I have use them there plenty of times. The burger I got today looks pitiful. They need to hire new workers before this restaurant shuts down
Very unprofessional, very slow, dirty inside. Put my kids fries in upside down I. Their bags. Also took my order holding a broom. While the Floor was covered with trash for five minutes of me waiting before they decided to sweep. Why is this place still open, and the health dept. Not shut it down or given a citation. Never coming back, save yourself the trouble go else where where it is cleaner, and rhe food is better. The food here is not good at all. Gave a star only to be able to write a review. Not because they deserved it.
This was by far the most pathetic trip here. We ordered sweet tea with ice we got unsweetened tea with no ice, we ordered mozzarella sticks we got those but they were cold and they didn’t give us the sauce. We also got a large water with ice we got hot bottled water. The burgers were ok, but they kept our money and the receipt gave us the change but not the 6$ . The wait was super long and the staff wasn’t friendly.
I'm not really a person to leave reviews on places but I came into this establishment today the lady at the front counter who served me was very impatient and seemed to not know what she was doing. Before I ordered I walked in while seeing her outside smoking a cigarette then proceeded to come inside and start serving me with washing her hands. Then proceeded to go deal with food without gloves on
One star only because I can't give it less than that. Twice now I placed an online order for this location during their posted open hours. Once on a Saturday where it was started they were open until 12am (order placed at 11:11pm) and another time on a Wednesday where it was stated they were open until 11pm (order placed at around 9:30ish). I was charged both times for food that I never received because apparently they were closed. If they are going to keep closing early they need to A) change their signs to show their new hours and B) make it so that you can not order through the website/app. There was no way on the mobile website for me to cancel my order or for me to get my money back for food that I never got. Be careful when you go here since apparently they do not follow their posted hours and are just open whenever.
I saw the guy slide our burgers down to staging area. Nobody bothered to give me my order for several minutes even though there was no one else at the counter. When I bit into it the beef patty was crunchy burnt, dry, and cold.
Have been here in the past and everything was good but this experience was terrible we waited 44 minutes for 2 whopper meals. No one was in a hurry including the management, several people walked out because it took so long before they even acknowledged they have been standing at the counter. It was not even busy just seemed like laziness and poor management.
It was a terrible experience. Took to long to place order then even longer to get it. They got the change correct but did not get the order correct. Received one burger with 2 bottom buns. Both burgers were suppose to be plan yet had everything on them. The onion rings were over cooked and dried out. Would not go there again if last place open.
Slow. Coffee for customers In the restaurant was not hot and one pot out other had enough for 1 cup. Person who took order pulled cups and put them on counter told me to slide my card and walked away. Never telling me that I needed to get my drinks somewhere else. Had to look around to find coffee. One tea was in a pitcher just sitting out next to the other tea in a proper container for customers. Saw employee on phone texting at the grill. Had the gloves on. Then went back to work. Went up at the end of meal to get some more coffee, 5 employees saw me standing there never acknowledged that I was there. They would turn and look/wait for their order to come up with back to the counter. There was no coffee for me to refill on my own. Finally I walked away to gather my things and go, very disappointed in the service. I can handle slow but not the customer experience of just take order and who cares what happens after that.
The order taker had to be told 3 times I wanted the 2 for $6 whoppers with each sandwich having different items & placed in separate bags. At pickup window, they were bagged together, had to ask which was which, manager looked at wrappers said they weren't marked, asked sandwichmaker who said they were the same, showed my receipt as proof they weren't, manager took maker's word for which was which instead of checking them himself, wrapped them back up, put in bags, got home, both orders wrong, called Tim the manager & let him know. He said he'd replace & refund the order. I asked for x-mayo,x-ketchup, x-pickle& got x-mayo, x-onion, wilted lettuce, pathetic tomatoes, burger not hot, not remade, burger was dark, dry. The other sandwich was sloppy, cold, dry, wilted lettuce. This location for 3 years straight now has to be the absolute worst anywhere & a bottomless pit of incompetence, inability to read, listen, follow instructions, a don't care attitude, & poor management & staff. They weren't even busy, there's never many customers anymore & I can see why. Store remodeled & same sorry service. Might as well close this location too. Can just about guarantee inaccurate order 99% of the time here. Ridiculous. I live in another county so it takes my gas, my time, to have to go back. Totally disgusted & fed up. Would give multiple 0 stars if possible.
Went to BK around 7pm ordered #3 with cheese and large. At window was told we are waiting on fries waited about 5 minutes possibly a little longer then was handed my bag with a ty and good bye the people were friendly but never got my drink fries upside down in the bag and burger cold😖 lousy dinner looking at the other reviews guess no one cares lots of poor reviews
Its been the most inconsistent experience of my life going here frequently. They've flat out refused to take my order, gotten it wrong, been rude, charged me the wrong amount, and worst of all most of the workers just don't care at all and work extremely slowly because they feel they aren't paid enough.
Was horrible, on Melrose Ave. I had to end up going to the one by my job in Hollins and the manager Steven gave me another same meal. Was much fresher and made to order correctly not burnt and old as the Burger King on Melrose Ave. But it will be a long time again before I eat it again, I hadn't eaten BK in 5 years.
For the love of God will you please have a little bit of integrity about how you do your job. When someone orders a chicken sandwich with no lettuce, add cheese, MAKE IT RIGHT! I know your job seems menial, but no matter what you do, do it right! Rant over.

Incompetent and rude! Took our online order and money! Then told us they couldn't make the food we ordered because their night manager didn't arrive on time. Really? Not ever coming back. Not like we ever came here before. I usually cook. I'm feeling under the weather, so my loving husband went out to get food for him and the kids. Then they were so incompetent to help direct us in how to get our refund. Burger King more like a joker.
Manager was with staff outside vaping while customers were waiting inside . Staff inside was goofing off in the kitchen while customers were waiting . Manager then came in and joined horseplay with staff throwing objects in kitchen . Seemed like a bunch of high school kids working. Food was not cooked correctly.
Everything sucks. The burger feels like it was cooked last week and he just heat it up in the microwave. The sodas are flat. Burger King back in the nineties early 2000 was the best
I took my little girls here for dinner. One employee was shouting and using profanity. One employee looked right at me without response after I greeted him. The employee who took our order tried giving filthy crowns to my girls, forgot the drink cups, and didn't offer sauces. After waiting about 20 minutes, our food was barely warm and my daughter's nuggets were undercooked and gross.
Oh my God, the customer service was terrible. I waited inside for over 20 minutes to be served. Then the guy started taking my order and started talking on his phone, which made it take longer. It's so chaotic in here. If you're really hungry, don't come here. First, you'll get angry from hunger, and second, they serve you immediately, just like in other places. The customer service is the worst.
Me and my boyfriend came through the drive thru around 9pm. The drive thru person quickly asked us what we wanted....my bf said we wasn't ready yet. Before we could decide what we wanted, they came back on the speaker and asked us 3 more times and each time we said we wasnt ready....and the whole time we was the only car in drive thru. After the 4th time we was asked, the drive thru person stuck their head out the window I guess trying to hurry us up.....now granted we took a minute to decide what we wanted, but as soon as another car came behind us, we just pulled to the other side of store and placed a to go order. When my bf went in to get the food, it was all just thrown into the bag....I never leave reviews for restaurants because I have worked in a few fast food places and know how things go, but this was absolutely one of the worst food services I have ever received. I hope that this store can get it together because if it wasn't for the customers that come there, they wouldn't have a job because the store would close!!!
Cold, dry, mustard everywhere but the burger. I regret going here... it's just not as good as it used to be. If you want to actually reclaim the the flame... you need to go back 20 years. One, get the horizontal broilers back. They actually allowed flame broiling. The vertical broilers you switched to do not produce the same taste. Two, bring the steamers back. When BK actually put those perfectly toasted buns from the Bottom of the broiler into the steamer for a few minutes with the burger... you would get the most delicious HOT burger that was not DRY... but moist and flavorful. Burger King years ago had the best burgers in Fast Food. That has not been true for years. Today, with the cooking process changes, BK burgers are cold and dry! That's why you are not the King anymore. Your current toasting process creates DRY buns that allow brown dust on your clothes. Yuk! Actually reclaim the actual flame and reclaim the steamers... and your sales will increase.
Listen, I hate given bad reviews and have only gave 1 restaurant a bad review... This Burger King... They shorted my wife's chicken sandwich on a $25 bill and I went back to tell the woman inside then she had the nerve to tell me I gotta wait 4 days later until the manager comes back, For a $5 sandwich they shorted me... Then told the woman a manager name Kayla told me it was ok for me to come back to get it and she still didn't believe me even though a Kayla worked there! Man, check your food is all I'm saying, Terrible customer service SMH
