This little ramen spot is a GEM! People of Willits, I hope you frequent it often. The noodles are house made from locally grown wheat and have a delightfully bouncy texture along with delicate consistency. We had the creamy white chicken miso ramen. There is no dairy, this is a gastronomic treat! Rich and salty without being overpowering. The black garlic and fresh vegetables contribute a variety of flavors and textures. The proprietor used to live in Japan and has introduced a lot of really nice touches to make it feel like you're snuggling down into a warm soup restaurant at the end of the day, ready to relax with the salarymen. We had no wait at lunch time, and enjoyed sitting outside in the sun. There are a few cozy tables and places at the bar. This is a perfect spot for "to go" orders if you want to picnic in the park or take your yummy food home. Even the water tasted fresh and clear and clean, like something from a forest spring. I hope you enjoy your stop!
WOW! Ramen Cubed is a top of the line, first class, fine dining experience you don’t want to miss. If you are in Willits; or driving North or South on Hwy 101 pull off in Willits and treat yourself to some extremly delicious Ramen prepared with the best ingredients and served with a gourmet Japanese flair.. i ordered Vegan Tonkotsu and it seriously had my tastebuds in seventh heaven. The portions are huge; everything was made fresh from the finest ingredients; presented artistically as one would expect from a fine Japanese Restaurant. An extra 5 stars for Joy, a lovely young woman who prepared and packaged my food. Excellent job Joy..thank you very much. 🩷 the ramen to go was packaged with broth on the side in a large cup; perfect high end packaging, complete with cloth like napkin. 🩷Ramen Cubed my new favorite place in Willits.

We wanted to try something new, so we came here. The staff were exceptional in explaining the foods and even letting us taste the sake. The food was full of flavor and delicious! We loved the tapa salmon and the seared scallop large plate. The only downside is that it is not an intimate restaurant. The tables are small, and you sit on a stool or a bench. But the food - wow! Amazing!
Adorable little place with housemate ramen noodles and an amazing chef named Joy. Can't get better than that. Highly recommend.

This place is great! We got seared ahi, seared scallops, and braised pork belly tapas, and shared a seared scallop ramen bowl, with extra egg and extra noodles. Omg soooo good. You'll want to roll in their broth, and chug a gallon of their chimichurri. Everything was super flavorful and cooked perfectly! The staff was really friendly, and as an added bonus, they were playing Beach Boys while we ate, and that was fun! I want to try the whole menu! 11/10

We visited the Willits location. This place is very small, quaint. When we walked in there is about 4 tables and bar seating. Every table was full and we were kindly told that it would take a while for our order to be taken - come to find out there was one woman working in the entire restaurant. We were not in a hurry, so we opted to wait. We got to sit at the bar, which ended up being nice because we were able to watch the chef prep and make all these wonderful dishes. Once she caught up on her current guest orders, she took our order. We both opted for a bowl of Ramen, I went with the Fillet Bowl and my husband got the Tonkotsu Ramen - it was WORTH the wait.... both dishes were so good. The fillet was perfectly seasoned and cooked topped with a bit of chimichurri sauce. Besides the fact that there was just one woman working the entire place, our experience was great... the food was amazing, I apologize for not getting the woman's name, but she was so calm, cool and collected during the "rush" of customers and was also very friendly and sweet - she deserves a raise.

Daniel, the cashier, who was also cooking and serving, was so kind and made my experience personable and enjoyable. I am very pleased to know that this restaurant has attentive and professional staff. Food was amazing and came out very quick! Wish I could’ve tipped him more! I will definitely be coming back.
I went there with my Family and Daniel was very productive and professional even when my 3 year old made the meal prep complicated. The food is top notch and I will be bringing my Colleagues from work for management meetings in the Region. I hope that more people find this amazing establishment in the heart of Willits.
I had such a great experience at Ramen Cubed in Willits, and a huge part of that was thanks to our server, Joy. From the moment we sat down, she was incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive. She checked in at the perfect times, made thoughtful recommendations, and genuinely made us feel taken care of.
Stopped by here for a quick lunch and it was incredible. Joy was running the shop with the biggest smile on her face and the warmest energy and on top of that she made us the most delicious bowls of ramen. Thank you, Joy. You are awesome!
The Chef in the Kitchen, Joy is by far one of the Best cooks I've ever had the pleasure of trying her food. Knowing that she's the chef/cook here is every incentive I need to stop in and have some delicious Dinner!

It’s not everyday a small town like Willits gets itself a Ramen joint! To start I have been to this restaurant two times and ordered take away once in order to provide a fair review. The Good: 1. The pork ramen broth! The pork broth probably couldn’t get any better. I cannot attest to any of the other broths as I have stuck with what I know and I know it’s dang near perfect. High ratings for that! 2. The marinated egg. It adds an almost boozy rich flavor to the broth. 3. Staff seems nice and service was not lacking. 4. Location. Easy to find in downtown Willits right beside the movie theater. Free parking too! 5. The ahi Tuna tapas is fairly priced and extremely tasty. 6. The meat in the various orders of ramen has been perfectly cooked. I’ve had chicken, scallop, and tonkatsu. All great! There wouldn’t be light without dark…. The Bad 1. The noodles. I don’t know what is going on but the last two times I’ve had ramen from here the noodles have been extremely doughy. No spring to them at all, just mush! 2. The prices. I don’t normally mention prices in “the bad” part of my reviews but I have to on this one. $25 ($28 if you’re using Door Dash) for a bowl of scallop ramen. I got exactly 3 small scallops, one egg, and a few sliced veggies. At least throw in some mushrooms or something to justify the expense! It’s more than I’ve ever paid for Ramen, even in San Francisco. It’s ramen… 3. Tiny place, bathroom is located outside. Overall I am very happy that the humble town of Willits has some variety in the restaurant department. I think this restaurant is worth trying if you’re in the area.

The service wasn't very good. My party of four was the only group in there and it took a long time to get anything. They were out of a lot of stuff, including ramen somehow. The music was blasting so it was hard to hear my friends. That all being said, I got the ahi tuna steak and it was one of the best meals I've had in awhile.
