Went winter park downtown, feels like the only reasonable priced food here lol. Probably better than most of those crazy expensive ones too! Get the buffalo chicken pizza it is fire! Staff was awesome and friendly!
Pizza was delicious Friendly staff, clean place, Plus they have bottled beer:)
Thank you so much to Park Ave Pizza for opening up right after hurricane Ian. The owners were running the kitchen and all when we came in. We felt lucky enough to find them open and have a hot meal! This was actually our first time having Park Ave Pizza and we weren't disappointed. I'm very happy we discovered this location as it's a great place to pick up pizza for a party. The slices were large and even the average cheese pizza had great NY style pizza flavors to it.
Best pizza place on Park Avenue. Me and my friends go to Rollins, and we're pretty regular customers. Everything is delicious and the service is good. I recommend for pasta the arabbiata, and for pizza the bianca with spinach and tomatoes. Also, garlic knots are always a good choice. Highly recommend.
The pizza was thin like I like and tasty too A little pricey but what isn't these dayz
Great service awesomeness food all is good here even the pizza is so good you would think it came straight out of Italy but it's the lady's that make it special for that great taste 😀 😋 😉 👌 👍 you will love everything about this place even down to the service and that's hard to come across nowadays.
When I found this gem of a pizza place, I had to go in. The pizza was delicious, service was great, and the prices are very affordable. I will definitely be coming back here soon. Keep it up Park Avenue Pizza.
If you do not like crusty pizza do not go. This pizza is well done and delicious. Best pizza in central FL so far.
Really great pizza and amazing crust, we are definitely coming back. Would highly recommend
Great find of great food at a fabulous price. So many expensive eating places and this is the perfect place to eat on a budget. Will definitely visit again when we do a nice train ride to visit Winter Park for an outing.
Love this places. We discover it because of a friend that goes all the time with her family. This pizza has great flavor and the prices are awesome.
Went with my husband and toddler and greatly enjoyed the pizza, the friendly service, and fair prices. The place is clean and cute. They even cut my toddler pizza in squares.
Great pizza , good pricing, taste like actual NY pizza. They owners were really nice. I love this little spot.
This place is the best pizza i have had since living in florida for 30 years! Take train from deltona to winter park just for the pizza from park avenue pizza!
A truly delicious place to get one of the best pizzas around and again I always mention in all my reviews for Winter Park is that the view is absolutely beautiful if you ever get a chance to visit this place please do so and I highly recommend it you will have a wonderful time
Pizza was delicious and the bottom was perfectly crisp!
This place is really good I love the pizza and my son does too. It's a little pricey don't get me wrong for my budget. But overall is really good.
Great local joint. The crust has a great garlic flavor throughout and the pie sizes are true to their description. They offer large cups with one refill for the same price as a 20oz. Good pricing and friendly customer service!
They have the best pizza in town by far
Simply the best pizza around in Orlando or Volusia county area. The flavors jump out of the pizza. As a serious pizza gal from New York City I could see this place in the Bronx holding its own against all the established pizza places. So glad I found this.
Great pizza and wonderful service. Hidden gem for sure
Amazing food, amazing service. I ordered a special bianca pizza, and it was fantastic. The pizza here is made from scratch with fresh ingredients, and they are extremely generous with the toppings. Would definitely recommend!
My family went on the Sunrail and went from Lake Mary to Winter Park. This place was my first pick and we were not disappointed. It was super delicious and I'm definitely going to go again. Nothing beats delicious, fresh food that the whole family can enjoy.
Delicious pizza and great customer service. My Greek salad had huge chunks of fresh feta cheese!! They didnt skimp on anything and the crust (and everything else) was cooked perfectly.
Nice little shop. They owners seem very nice and the pizza was good. I have had pizza all over florida and this is one of the better ones. (Yes I am from long island so I know good pizza). Went a little after noon on a tues was quite. Worth it!
We actually haven't been here in years (if I had to guess I'd say 2005, so I can't comment on what's changed over the years), but the white pie (Bianca) they serve here is, to this day, my high bar for a white pie. The establishment is family owned and the owner and staff was always very friendly. If you go often enough you might even be able to pick up a few tips on making your own pies...If you live in the area or are passing through, the pizza here is a must.
Love the setting and the SIZE OF ONE SLICE. It’s an amazing place if you are a pizza lover
The pizza is great. You have to add them to your list of great pizza spots in winter park !
This place is a great, cheap option for getting food in downtown Winter Park. The staff is always courteous and the pizza is delicious. The slices are pretty big: sometimes I'll come, only eat two, and leave full! As an added bonus, students at Rollins College can use their TarBucs to pay for their meals here, which can come out significantly cheaper than on-camous and other off-campus locations.
Love their pizza. The gentleman that attended us was awesome, with great service and treatment.
Remind me of pizza in New York and I'm from the Bronx
The pizza was amazing and truly NY style! The sauce was delicious. We will be going back for more.
Very good. Friendly owners. Ate there our first night and it was so good we returned second night. We had fresh cooked cheese pizza and a spinach tomato rocatta. Simple, afordable, and yummy!
Yum! Thin crispy crust pizza—the slices are quite big—I had to get a second piece because it was so delicious! This was the perfect late lunch for us.
Cute little pizzeria with very nice owners. Had sausage/pepperoni pizza, salad and the bianca which were very delicious. Nice little pizza spot to try while in town.
Pizza is always great!! Very good service as well !!
This pizza and garlic cheesy bread was unreal good!! I haven’t even finished eating it. Seriously some of the best pizza I have EVER had. We got the 18” meats and a garlic bread with cheese. It was good and the price was so fair and cheap as well. Repeat customer here now for sure.
Love this place, the people, the pizza. Everything is a 10/10.
I’ve been feeding my family here with hot fast flavorful food for more than 15 years and we haven’t had one bad meal yet! The staff is friendly and helpful. The calzones are bigger than your head and chock full of thick, yummy melted mozzarella cheese. The butter sauce they melt onto the pizza crust makes the crust irresistible. Special thanks to the owners who have come to recognize my kids by name, always greeting them with a smile, and asking about them when I come by without them. This truly is your friendly neighborhood pizza shop and a great part of our community.
Not enough room to write how amazing this place is. Every item is carefully prepared and comes out to your table in great time. I've watched one of the owners prepare a pizza and this alone was enough to sell me on the place, regardless of how amazing the food tastes. In fact, the other owner knows my regular order when I walk in the door. I've tried about 75% of the menu and everything is amazing, including the prices. Would highly recommend if you're in the Park Ave area.
Best pizza in The world.Awesome crust with great tasting and fresh ingredients. I had the veggie with fresh garlic pizza which really tasted like out of this world flavor,(the they were very nice to accommodate a substitution to make it vegetarian). Could have been the best pizza of my life!!! My husband had the margarita pizza which he loved as well All of our plates were completely empty at the end of this great meal!
Thank you so much Park Avenue Pizza for caring for our group so well! 19 of us showed up just after you opened and you took our individual orders with kindness and a smile. And the pizza and salads were great, too!!
Fresh cheesey pizza ALWAYS made with love. Garlic bread and Mozzarella sticks are hot, fresh and have a lot of flavor! The owners are very nice, friendly and know what their doing. Only 15 min wait for 2 sides and a 1 topping pie. I will always come back here. Its so reasonably priced and welcoming.
This is my favorite pizza place in this galaxy. I've been eating here since I was in college, and I never want it to change. The staff is friendly and professional, great atmosphere and consistently phenomenal pizza. Try the Bianca with spinach, or the buffalo chicken. My favs.
Delicious pizza and an even better atmosphere! So relaxing and calming for a pizza place. I almost felt like I was in Italy while dining tonight, especially with the big open doors and the cool breeze. Highly recommend! Super friendly owners as well!
OK, so here’s the irony. It’s owned by Asians AND it’s the best pizza ever! My 16-year-old son goes there pretty much every weekend with his friends, And tells me how good it is. He was right! It’s on the little side street and clearly is a place all the Rollin kids go as when we were leaving a few of them piled in. They have a bunch of different types of pizza you can get by the slice or you can order a whole pie to go. They do not deliver. I had the Bianci, buffalo chicken, and pepperoni with sausage. I would say it was probably the best Bianci pizza I have had. It’s very thin, and crispy just like New York. I’ll definitely be back for sure!
Great family owned and operated pizza shop. Consistently good pizza and food. Great to pop in for a quick bite or grab a pie to go, they do also offer delivery.
A literal gem: tasty, affordable food right in Downtown Winter Park. If you don't want to pay over $20-30 per person for a meal, this is the place. The pizzas here are no joke. Money well spent!
We enjoyed our dinner tonight, thank you! Pizza was delicious!
Great mom and pop shop with amazing pizza. The dough is light but has a really nice crunch. Zero flop. Toppings were delicious. Sauce was subtle with the right amount of tang. Very impressed with the quality here.
Ever notice how all big chains strive for their own signature "taste," that never quite is the taste and texture you wanted? Park Ave Pizza does it RIGHT! No surprises, just the traditional classic experience you remember and were looking for. When back in town its one of my must stops. 5-stars
Great food, friendly service, very chill. Highly recommend!
Pizza, Service and Atmosphere perfect as always!!! Will travel for the Pizza! Chef's Kiss!
Stopped by for a quick slice. The lady behind the counter was so sweet, and the slice was so crisp and fresh. The toppings were on point and the cheese to sauce ratio was perfect. Definitely will be coming back whenever I’m in the park ave area! Thank you so much!
I work across the street from this restaurant at winter park city hall. It’s the best pizza on park avenue . Great prices and so good ! Pizza by the slice and the subs are phenomenal. If you’re in the area definitely stop by. We all go there for lunch and are never disappointed!
Best pizza I have ever had! I had the spinach, cheese and tomato slice. Crispy on the bottom which is so hard to find these days. The ladies at the counter were friendly and service was fast. Highly recommend!
Tom and his wife are great people, and who doesnt like supporting local family businesses. Highly recommend a medium pie, super fresh and nice crunch to the crust.
Had 2 pies delivered to “Veg” Veterinarian hospital . One for me and one for the staff! my fur baby enjoyed a small treat to help his recovery.
The pizza is very delicious we came back twice. Huge thanks to Kim for making our experience super delightful. I never thought picking up pizza would be so memorable for me and my husband. We will definitely visit again when back in town.
Ordered the Baked Lasagna and Mushroom and Broccoli spaghetti for delivery. Food was delicious and the service was good.
Good pizza! I'm at the office twice a week, and it's within walking distance of this place. I'm going to be honest. I love pizza. Yes, I know it might not be the healthiest thing if you eat it often, but I can’t help it, LOL. Park Ave Pizza has the best pizza in Downtown Winter Park. No doubt about it. The owners are super nice and always welcome their customers with a smile. They offer pizza by the slice, made to order pies, and a few other menu items. My favorites? One pepperoni slice and one buffalo chicken slice to go. The pizza is thin, with the perfect amount of sauce and toppings, and it’s super crispy. The crust is amazing. Two slices for $10 in Winter Park is definitely a good deal. Pay them a visit. it’ll be worth it.
Smaller pizzaria off park ave. Their pizza's were made nice and thin, so they come out crispy well heated to well done. However the sauce lacked flavor a bit, which left us adding all the seasonings to the slice. Everything else was done well. I would try this spot again to give it another shot.
This is the place for a slice and a coke (I had two, but made it a diet coke, after struggling with the beer choices, man that was tough)...Great location just a half a block off Park Ave. Solid slice, good cheese, and crust. The staff are very friendly, and the entire front is open, like open to the outside world. Just put your ear buds in, chow down and watch the world go by, I did mention its only a 1/2 a block of Park ave. in Winter Park, which is some of the best people (and dog) watching that there is.
Park Avenue was busy, but they made room for us. Ladies were very nice.
It's a pizza joint. Not a restaurant. Pizza was decent. The owners seem to be the only employees but kept everything moving. They wrapped up our leftovers at the end which was a nice touch.
We came for dinner on a weeknight there was a table already eating their slices and we waited a few minutes for the owner to come take our order. She was nice. The pizza did take longer than expected since we were the only ones there it was about 35 min later we got our pie. It was good a bit salty. We asked for napkins and were given 3 lol. It was a bit warm in the place but we had the pie and left.
Good regular traditional pizza nothing fancy. Excellent crispy crust.
This is NOT an authentic pizza place. Slices and pizza are ok. Ordered "Side Meatball" and "Breadstick with sauce" Side meatballs are pre-made FROZEN meatballs. They were so salty, I could not finish them. Prices are not up to date on the website. I called and Kim said she would compensate my meal which I appreciate.
First time there order a chicken pizza. Sliced chicken on top of the pizza, not good. Looks like they just ripped the slice chicken and put it on top. The crust, cheese and pizza sauce are good. Check us out @tiptopeats.com
Service was good but not impressed with the pizza. We also ordered fries with cheese. I expected nacho cheese but it was mozzarella. I didn't care for the cheese but fries were good. I will not be eating here again
Very average. The greek salad was tasty. And, the pizza, nothing stand out. The baked Ziti - sad :( We've had some really great pizza in our travels, but we've yet to find a single take out/delivery pizza place in Winter Park, outside of the nice casual Italian restaurants.
Good crispy pizza had cheese, pepperoni & bianca.
Compared to the other restaurants in the area, this is okay. The pizzas were fine. There was one employee making our orders, and though we were in no hurry, it took some time to get our food. That and once we ordered, 2 more large groups came in and ordered. One person was not enough for the orders that the employee dealt with. I'll be honest. I probably wouldn't go back.
So first things first. Update the menu! They say it’s googles fault but it their responsibility to update it. Next the pizza was hot but it was very hard and chewy. The lady was very polite though and they’re always very nice but when someone looks at the prices and gets a different total you’ll have a lot of upset customers.
We had lunch there today. They were dead, but our order of a cold sub & hot sub took 40 minutes. My wife’s Italian sub was good. However, my chicken parm sub was absolutely atrocious. It was, without a doubt, the worst chicken parm sub I have ever had in my entire life. The chicken tasted like it was microwaved twice or something. The bread and cheese was the best part of it and I had to throw it away. Bad service, bad food.
I came here specifically to try their, "oxtail pizza." When I entered I wasn't expecting to find that it's a Carribean/pizza fusion eatery. I didn't get to try anything other than the oxtail pizza, which tasted as expected. The atmosphere is as expected for a Carribean eatery and is mainly for takeout/pickup. My only true gripe would be the amount of oxtail on the pizza, which left much to be desired. I got the larger size which was $30 and received a rather modest portion sprinkled about the top of the pizza. Caught a few small bones mixed in as well, which I expected due to the nature of the meat. Although good, the scarcity of oxtail atop the pizza could not justify the trip or cost. The crust was also just.... fine. If you try it, ask for extra oxtail and bring $50+ with you. Maybe try the jerk chicken pizza and let me know how it goes.
I assumed the area this pizzeria was at it would have to be good and the good rating on Google. I was really disappointed. Pizza did not have much flavor to it. Also the lack of customer service while dining in. The lady was on her phone the whole time. I would definitely not come back again. If your considering this I would skip this place.
Convenient, nice staff, clean. 2 Star reviews for the pizza. There was virtually no sauce on it. my only complaint about that is that you need the acid from the sauce to get through the richness of the cheese and the saltiness of it all. Unfortunately this was not much better than frozen pizza for me and the missing sauce really kicked it out of balance into fatty and salty.
Pizza is more like a flat bread. It was not bad but not much flavor either. Was way over priced. Would be a perfect dollar slice and dollar coke place. But for the flavor being bland and the price I won't be back.
I took my granddaughter here for lunch. When we arrived, there was only one couple ahead of us, yet. It still took 35 minutes once we ordered, to bring our food. The spaghetti and meatballs had no flavor and very very little sauce. The biggest disappointment for me were the cheese fries. It had some kind of cheese that was stringy and stuck together. You could actually pull the cheese right off the fries. . The garlic bread was also hard and burned. I spent $30
The guy behind the counter handles your slice of pizza with his bare hands. No gloves, and no hand washing, just grabs the slice by the crust with his bare hand. For a nice area like Park Avenue, the interior felt pretty run down. The only crushed red pepper shaker in the place had to be grabbed from on top of the trash can. The pizza was pretty average. Not worth the $5 per slice.
Went in and ordered a greek salad like I always do. While I was waiting for the food, I looked in the back and the owner was ripping up the lettuce with her bare hands!! Did not wash her hands and was not wearing gloves. Absolutely disgusting. What’s worse is when my boyfriend spoke up about it she told him that she is the owner and the salad was already made so there was nothing she could do. Apparently, “these are the rules and no refunds are allowed.” Would’ve been nice to get a refund or another salad made with gloves. Terrible customer service.
The service was terrible. The lady who took our order was really rude and seemed like she had trouble hearing and understanding us. That’s not a problem but she even argued with us. Pizza was meh. I wouldn't recommend this place because of the bad service we received.
40+ min wait for a cold sub. ( obviously forgotten after reminding 2x and told wasn’t ready and to sit down). Took 25- mins for 2 slices of pizza, a calzone and eggplant parm. Pizza was decent, but the eggplant was inedible as it was so chewy; the cheese in the calzone was grainy and the 40-mins sub was lack luster. Barely ate the food.. Service was terrible-no apology for the wait (several tables who came in after had their food and had already left).
Asked about reservation policy after waiting almost an hour for our reservation time. Was informed they do not do reservation normally, only on trivia nights at 7:30… weird since they accepted our 7:15 reservation. When asking about reservation policy, was greeted with a rude manager who was clearly having a bad night. Horrible tone and treated us with disrespect. Have never wrote a review before but felt this was necessary. She responded with sass questioning if she should seat people at 8 for trivia when asked if we should get here earlier next time. Ruined our night out.
Used to be my absolute all time favorite pizza place of all time.. I make sure I visit when I'm in town... It was horrible, so salty we threw the entire pizza in the trash.
Ordered a BBQ Chicken pizza last night and did not like the taste at all with one bite. I called back to ask for a refund or exchange and they were closed. I called today to ask if it was possible to get a refund for the pizza or a possible exchange and will bring back the pizza to show proof. The man who answered the phone did not hesitate to say no refunds because they made what I asked for. I told him I did not like the taste at all and only took one bite. He said just because you don’t like it doesn’t mean you get refund. If this is their version of customer service then i will never spend my money there again.
No idea how this place gets the rating it does. I even went twice just to make sure and both times thought it was probably the worst pizza I've had in the entire city. Saw one review saying it tastes like school pizza, in fairness it's even worse than that. Service is lacking heavily too. I'd go as far as saying this might be the worst establishment I've ever been to in Winter Park and the Orlando area.
This place is way to expensive for the quality of pizza. The guy that served me did not wanna be there. I wanted a calzone but he was not in the mood to cook it. Attitude was poor and $5 for a slice its not even that goodn. Its robbery. Im from New York and know pizza. This place is not it.
