Khing Woodside Reviews
Love Khing - easily the best thai restaurant in the area. Have had many different items on the menu and it is always delicious. The servers are friendly and recognize us as regulars at this point.
Pad Thai was soo good! The lunch set appetizers were perfect, and the place is really cozy and cute. The owner was super nice :)
Portions are super generous and we highly recommend it! The curries and duck were great. The pad kee mow here is AMAZING! THE BEEF WAS TENDER AND THE NOODLES WIDER THAN ANY OTHER PLACE!
King (formerly Thai Center Point) remains the best Thai food I've had anywhere. Fresh, delicious, and flavorful!
I used to live here and the old Thailand center point was my fav Thai restaurant in the city even after I’ve tried so many places. Super happy they’re back with the same quality and flavor! Would come back!
amazing Thai food, probably the best I’ve had in nyc, and Thai is my favorite cuisine, so I’ve tried plenty of Thai restaurants! this one’s gotta be my favorite. very friendly staff! The old fashioned pad Thai is my favorite.
Great new Thai restaurant to Woodside. Been here 2x already and will plan to make it a 3rd time. The food is really good, the owners are nice and attentive. Love the atmosphere of this small yet cozy restaurant.
A hidden gem in Woodside! Recently opened, with a cute interior design and TV showing classic Thai street food videos. The food was a bit slow to come out, but that's to be expected with newer restaurants. The service was fantastic, and nevertheless the food itself was incredible. I got the beef and beef ball noodle soup and it was very hearty - quite different than pho despite having a lot of the same ingredients. We also got a fish mango salad and mango sticky rice too, both surprisingly good. Woodside is seeing a lot of new development recently, and I'm glad it's still keeping a lot of its cultural roots but with a modern twist. Would highly recommend.

Khing is a small Thai spot with an extensive menu and a good, clean vibe. I ordered the Duck Curry with a side of rice and roti; it was phenomenal, best roti I have ever had and the pineapple in the Duck Curry was such a nice addition. Hospitality was great and attentive. Would definitely recommend, excited to try some more items on the menu!
I think this place never disappoints every time we come here! Definitely my go to thai food place. Staff are friendly, and food is GREAT. If I have a bad day and need something to look foreard to, this is the place. 10/10 would recommend!
Thailand center point got an upgrade!!! Food is still on point! Thank your for taking care of our cravings in the neighborhood 🔥🙌
Today l went to Khing for the first time and l tried the lunch special $14.95 with shrimp pad thai(additional $1, only for the shrimp option). It comes with a small soup( flavorful and lite), a crispy salad, 1 wonton, 1 spring roll, and some orange slices as fruit option. The lunch was a very generous portion overall, classic pad thai really good. The decor is cute and cozy, service is attentive. I will definitely go back!
We dined in for lunch and the food was amazing. This lunch special came with so much food and was such a great deal! We separately ordered the shrimp sashimi, soft shell crab with bean thread noodles, and basil frogs. All of those dishes were tasty and fresh! Their new location feels fresh and seems very airy. The door was open since it was a nice day, but it was pretty noisy with the traffic and 7 train passing by.
An INCREDIBLE Family Owned Thai spot that is easily the best Thai in NYC. The tofu popcorn, the salads, the curry soi noodles, the dumplings, the crispy pork… the entire menu is a banger.
One of the best Thai spots in Woodside. The tofu popcorn is to die for; you won’t regret it. So glad the spirit of Thailand’s Center Point is alive in Khing!

I have requested to comment on another restaurant. Apologies for the inconvenience. You are a good and good silk. Thank you.😊❤️
The delicious food The attention was good, as a suggestion I could say, that the portions were a little bigger for the Apetaizers.

Went here on a whim and I liked what I got. Will definitely come again to try out more of the menu. I’m not Thai so I can’t speak for the authenticity of the dishes but what I can say is that I throughly enjoyed them. The wait time would be it’s only downside because I waited for 15-20 minutes.
This used to be Thailand center point. now opened with a new name in a brand new location. food hasn’t changed, still serving banging Thai food, people haven’t changed still friendly and always smiling aunty and her daughters.
Good home style Thai cuisine and friendly staffs. We frequented Thailand’s Center Point before they closed, and are now happy that they finally reopen in a new location and re-name Khing. Causal family run and served up some solid Thai dishes! We are always big fan on their Signature Crispy Papaya Salad, so good. I enjoyed my delicious duck dish and hubby’s 5 Star BBQ Chicken was tender and tasty.

The food's good but there are some major drawbacks here. When you enter there are two air purifiers working overtime trying to eliminate the smell of cat from the place. Its common for there to be a cat to ward off mice but I don't want pet dander in my food. We also got a togo order and they shortchanged the portion by around half. Ive never seen carryout boxes that empty before (from an Asian restaurant, that is). Definitely left a sour taste in my mouth overall.
