Quaint and cozy family owned business. Food is great and tastes amazing. Expect a longer wait time for food to arrive and a bit drafty during the winters but I frequently take out. Still great for friends.

This is easily the best halal thai food in nyc and the family cooking the food are native muslims from thailand. Taking a bite of the pad see ew immediately put a smile to my face.

The food was very delicious, tasty and flavorful as well as good portion sizes. The staff were very friendly and kind, felt like home. Will definitely be coming back here and I recommend this place to everyone who loves Thai food. The tom yum soup and the Thai iced tea were especially good!

I had the chance to try the beef noodles here. Although the noodles weren’t listed on the menu, I saw a photo and decided to give them a try — and I’m glad I did! The noodles came with a generous mix of vegetables, and they used two types of noodles with different sizes and textures. The beef was tender and flavorful and u can choose spicy levels. The dumplings were also delicious. The restaurant is not very spacious, but it’s clean and neatly arranged. The service was excellent as well.

Halal food… small seating area but very pleasant. We got the fried shrimp, Thai fried rice with beef and flat drunken noodles. Everything tasted delicious. We got it made spicy, it was very satisfying.

Of course given that it’s Halal and Thai I had to go! Our food group organized a trip here and it was so lovely! The staff is so sweet, and the food was so so good! The chicken satay starter was delicious, the chicken curry puffs were lovely but the star for me was the deep fried whole fish topped with spicy papaya! So refreshing for the palate. Finished off with some banana fritters and ice cream, what a lovely meal!

This restaurant is a very cozy spot in Queens. The server was kind and really helped us with suggestions based on what we said we like. The prices were reasonable and the food was sooo delicious. I enjoy Thai food every now and then and I can honestly say this was one of the best Thai food I’ve had in this area. It’s just an added bonus that they’re reasonably priced.

Dined here today by myself! I came in around 2pm and the waitress was friendly, kind, knowledgeable, gave me space when I needed it (which I appreciate a lot), and very attentive! I was smiling ear-to-ear when I got here because I've wanted to indulge in some local ethnic food tourism! I enjoyed my time here and the food was flavorful! Would love to come back!

Everything tasted great, was cooked just right, and the portions were the right size for sharing and trying many things. The prices are also very reasonable and the service is friendly. The deep fried fish was particularly tasty, it wasn't greasy at all, and the sauce was delicious. The laab had plenty of meat and the smoked chilis were a nice tough. The dumplings were plump and tasty.

Thai Nara is a nice restaurant with lots of Thai food to choose from. The taste is just like what you get in Thailand. It’s halal, so many Muslim people feel comfortable eating here. The prices are reasonable, and it’s close to the metro, so it’s easy to get to. You should try Thai Fried Rice.

Someone recommended this place to me because I love spicy food & I look for halal places. I was bored with my typical desi food. So on my way to Jackson heights I went to try it out. It’s a small & simple store! But very clean tho. Food was really good, I tried Thai soup & fried wonton . Loved the soup. Ordered takeout for my kid beef lomain & beef sizzler. It took me a while to go home, and when I give it to my son he didn’t like none ! It could be that it was not fresh, some food do taste better fresh. After microwave some just don’t taste the same ! Or it could be that every food can’t be tasty to me, every human has different taste! The owner was there, wonderful person. Answered all my questions, his hospitality was awesome ! He is originally from Thailand & running this restaurant with his youngest daughter! It’s totally family owned business! Talking to him was like I was talking to my dad, always smiling & very down to earth person ! The prices of the food was actually very reasonable & good amount of food in one order. I love the fact on soup orders they have 2 sizes, gives me a chance to try different ones. Typically I try not to visit one place twice, because second time my experience always not the best. I just don’t wanna ruin the first memories! But I will definitely visit this place again , because of the hospitality! I am hoping it will be the same or even better. And I can try out the different items on the menu ! I wish I could give 5 stars, but had to take it out because of the 2 dishes which wasn’t liked by a big foodie! Trust me when I say my son has a taste like my dad, very distinct on his choices ! I will try the same food in the restaurant while it’s hot , just so I can confirm my opinions ! If you are in queens please do visit this place , you will definitely not regret!

We initially planned to dine in but ended up opting for takeout instead. While the food was delicious and enjoyed by the entire family, we were surprised to find the containers only half full when we opened them. Everyone one a bit puzzled. The portion sizes were very minimal. When I called to place the order, I was assured that each dish would be enough for two people. However, that was far from accurate—those portions were barely enough for one person. Although the family liked food the portion sizes left us disappointed.

ordered on grubhub, used to love this place and ordered a lot but the portions they give just gets smaller and smaller, i ordered almost $100 worth of food for a family of 4 which is more than i usually spend for the same amount of food and i could probably finish it all by myself. i feel like i paid more this time around too. i order green curry for the curry not for the veggies so why is it all veggies barely any curry? i asked for extra noodles for my pad siew but it still looked like one portion of noodles.
