We absolutely love Ardy’s Country Kitchen! They post a daily specials menu, and it’s always packed with fun, unique options that we can’t wait to try. We’ve had everything from their juicy burgers to the flavorful fajita wraps, and honestly, everything has been fantastic. The BBQ pork nachos and fries are a must-try, too! The Peanut Butter Sauce is rich, creamy, and perfectly complements any dessert. Their ice cream is always a hit, with so many creative flavors, and the prices are incredibly reasonable. We’re so happy Ardy’s reopened after the pandemic, and we keep coming back for more every time!
My wife and I discovered this 1950's decor diner as we rented a nearby VRBO - here for a wedding. In short- we will eat here again before we leave for Cincinnati. So very clean, quaint 1950's deor and limited but varied menu.(Sandwiches and salads mainly). Bright cheerful colors, Frank Sinatra and Bing Crosby music drifting out from the kitchen perfect the atmosphere. Debby our waitress was prompt and very helpful- even helping us to find a nearby grocery store. My wife had the thinly sliced ham & cheese with fries,, I ordered the Cuban with sweet 'tatoe fries (+$2). Both were served fresh from the grill hot, and delicious. The place is small, maybe seats 15 to 20 tops, come early. And the ice cream , by reputation, is also excellent.

Huge portions, awesome food, haven't found anything I haven't liked yet. Great prices, too. You won't go away hungry. I'd give ya guys 7 stars if I could.

BEST BURGER EVER! and is gigantic! I love it. Being from NYC I've been to many different spots for burgers but nothing comes close to Ardy's. Super friendly and fast service.
A nice cozy little find off of Rt. 88 on way to Albany. Food was homemade and delicious. Portions were huge, price was more than reasonable, and the people very friendly. A must stop again.
The guacamole melt was good and the macaroni salad is great. Service was good!
We ordered the cold plate and the fish and chips! Everything was outstanding! Above and beyond! I also tried their Mac n cheese last weekend it was awesome! Keep up the good work! Quick service too!
Went there for fries, onion rings and malts. Now that's how you make an $8 malt!!!
A delightful little diner we hit on our way through town. Everything we ate was amazing, and the 50s style decor is delightful! Would definitely eat here again if swinging through town!
Nice and out the way, not too many people which I love, outstanding service, not to mention the food is SCRUMPTIOUS, the atmosphere is what sold me tho! Recommend it would eat here many more times
Found Ardy's by chance. Driving through as tourists visiting from Arizona. What a great find! Food was absolutely delicious and large helpings. The peach/plum pie for dessert was exquisite! The people were also wonderful. Sad that we likely will not be able to visit this place again. HIGHLY recommend!
Been coming here for years and never a bad experience. The best way to describe it is Mom's home cooking. Everything is good and fresh. Service is great. If you order breakfast, you must try the fried mash. They also have great ice cream when it's in season.
Went with my mother, we had a WONDERFUL experience. The food was good, the staff was kind and friendly and the portion sizes were great!
Everything here is good. Have never been dissapointed. One of my favorites is the lumberjack for breakfast. Must try the fried mashed. It is awesome. There lunches are really good also. When I come up to my friends property I stop here and there is always a minimum of 7 people that are all craving the food also. The ice cream is really good as well. We come down at night to get ice cream to go and bring it back to my friends cabin. There is nothing here that is bad. Sometimes it can be hard to get a seat large enough for all of us because the place does have limited seating. We usually have to move talbles around and put them together to have enough room for us. They have 4 booths that fit 4 people then they have 3 tables that have 4 chairs on them and one with 2 chairs and a counter with stools to sit in. It does get busy sometimes so we will call ahead to see if they have room for us.
So happy they are open again and really happy to have a little restaurant and ice cream shop in our little community. Excellent food and service and reasonable prices.

Good food and decent selection. Price is good for a local diner. Really good breakfast. The only complaint I would have is that they have very non-standard hours. I really wish they would set their hours and stick to it!

Great ice cream & quick foods, eat in tiny space or eat out on the deck. Not as large of a selection of ice cream flavors as other places. Small parking lot. Located west of the gas stations on NY rt. 7 (toward village).
