GREAT FOOD AND PEOPLE
Good friendly service
Diner atmosphere; clean; fast service. The perfect place to run to for lunch.
Burrito Supreme so delicious the sauce has onions in it and the red sauce has chopped onion that takes me back years when food at restaurants was actually special.
All I want is a simple place with great Mexican food. This is it... I'm from So Cal and I've been waiting 11 years for Victor to get up here. Thanks Victor, I'll be back...
Decided to try new restaurant in town so went to Victors for lunch. Ordered fish tacos and my friend ordered beef taco & enchilada. Food was great. Will go again 👍
Great flavor. Best Mexican food in town! There are 3 other Mexican restaurants and this place has the best flavor and price.
The food we got had amazing taste. Only issue I feel we had was the stake was slightly over cooked. But it had amazing flavor. The staff here are friendly and amazing. I will definitely be coming back another time. The portions of food you receive are filling and worh the price.
This small family owned establishment is well worth the time to seek traveling or staying Yreka California. The chips and homemade salsa are worth the stop alone. I personally ordered the cheeseburger and fries, and my wife had the chicken nachos. Both orders were excellent and served with a smile. Across the street, there is a historical hotel that looked interesting, but we did not have the time to check it out. The sidewalk had an impression that marked it as a WPA project. The restaurant and restrooms were extremely clean and well maintained. I am glad that we made the effort to find this restaurant.
Forgot should have taken more pictures. Fish tacos 14 bucks not bad at all. The beans tasted so good girlfriend letting me know they are authentic. They serve Pepsi products. For just opening seems like they have together. Time to order and got our food was about 1/2 chips bowl waitress brought more salsa we will be back for sure.

It was $35 for two people, entree and a side each. Was a bit shocked when I heard the total but when I took the first bite I was not even bothered by the price I spent for us. After getting the quality, portions and TASTE. We will come back when we are in the area. Big menu, but not too big!
Clean, quiet, and welcoming atmosphere. Very fast service and the food was amazing. Fish tacos were fresh and generously filled. Owner was friendly and helpful
Visiting from out of town for lunch. Had the enchiladas. Good food, super friendly service, clean bathrooms.
The 2022 Google Earth street view photos of this restaurant don't do it justice. There is a new owner (Victor) who since gave it a complete remodel inside and out, including a new restaurant. The place is first rate and easy on the eyes. A parking lot is located behind the business. We recently gave it a try along with a couple of our neighbors. The food is genuine Mexican cuisine -- and according to everyone at our table, it was outstanding. The proprietors are decent and friendly people. This restaurant is clean, comfortable and spacious. We'll be back.
Right off I-5 highway, this makes a good restaurant to stop by to eat while on the road. Simple and typical menu, nothing crazy or unique. Clean and friendly. Not a festive or lively atmosphere. So if you are looking for something fun or flashy maybe look elsewhere. Will go here again when driving by.
Today I ordered a veggie burger and fries and was very happy with this tasty meal. The owner and staff are always super nice and helpful whenever I have a question about a dish. It is a cute little place where you can actually hear and talk to your friends or family so that is a plus for me.
Great authentic Mexican food that brings me back to Tex mex in Texas. So good

Had the tacos 🌮....yummy!! Service was outstanding. Atmosphere was good. Clean, clean clean. Fresh flowers at each of the tables. Enjoyed lunch there!
Fresh made tortillas, and the authentic food here is quite nice, but more lightly seasoned than most Mexican places. The waitress was helpful and kind. The menu also offers American options. It's a perfect spot for family and friends.

Brought my son and daughter here for my son's birthday. Was going to go to casa Ramos but figured i would go somewhere that wasn't a chain thinking the food would be better. The food wasn't great. It was bland and was nothing exciting or special. The only reason I'm not giving it one or two stars is because our server was very sweet and attentive. Can I also say that EVERY Mexican restaurant I've ever been to gives a flan dessert for someone's birthday? They don't... I regret not going to Casa Ramos for this special day...
Chips were stale. Salsa was OK not great. Food was good. Very limited beer selection. Atmosphere was ok not great. Nice staff.
I feel bad to give it only 3 stars. I feel like it should be something like 3.5, but that isn't an option for the reviews. I think the food actually is good, and looks good, but it is catered to a place that doesn't handle authentic Mexican food. The spices are lacking and there also aren't a lot of options on the menu. The service was good and I felt like the people there are friendly and welcoming and the food comes out quick. Their homemade salsa for their chips is pretty good as well.

Food is ok sometimes I have gotten an order that I didn't order. Service is good but not outstanding, same for atmosphere.

First time at Victors. Arrived at noon on Saturday. The place had zero customers. There was one server and one cook. We seated ourselves. We received menus and our drink order was taken along with chips and salsa. The server was pleasant. There were no specials. The salsa was a Verde variety. It was okay. I liked the thickness of the chips (maybe a little more than a normal salsa chip) but the flavor was unremarkable. The server did bring us extra napkins which I appreciated. I asked for a refill on chips/salsa after we'd finished what was originally brought. Didn't get one. Had to go find the server to ask again for a refill. The server was in the kitchen almost the entire time. At 1230 a couple came in for lunch. No one else came in before we left which I found odd for noon on a Saturday especially with Rico's, El Zaguan, and the new pupusa restaurant all being closed. Our food was brought out. I ordered the burritos supremos with spicy pork and their tomatillo and jalapeno Verde sauce. The presentation was nice. But the food lacked any flavor. The spicy pork was not only not spicy, it was bland and tasteless. The green salsa and jalapeno was present but almost not noticed. The refried beans lacked character. The Mexican rice was tasteless. The prices were decent at $26 for an adult and a kids menu item with no drinks. Probably won't be back.

Nice folks run the place. Food not so nice. Beans and rice were close to flavorless. Chicken in my enchiladas was as tough as can be. Tostada was blah. We won't be eating there again.
Slow to be greeted. Slow to get food. Not good follow-through when asked for more chips and salsa. Blah food. Empty when we got there at noon on a Saturday. Would not return.

Worst mexican food i've ever eaten and the service was horrible
Ugh! 😩 COMPLETELY flavorless! Even the “hot” salsa is completely flavorless and not spicy at all
