My family and I had the pleasure of visiting Arthur's for dinner and all of us were just amazed with the experience. From start to finish it was a wonderful meal with 5 star food, service and atmosphere. Open entering the restaurant we were warmly greeted immediately as we entered and shown to our table right away. The atmosphere is sophisticated and classy with a touch of casual. Our waiter greeted us right away and took our cocktail order. The cocktails were quickly made and brought to our table. The cocktails were excellent but what really impressed me was our waiter said to us that he would give us some time to get settled in, enjoy our cocktails and would be back in a few minutes with the appetizer and dinner menu's. In many restaurants you are rushed to order dinner so they can get you in and out. Not here! We ordered appetizers and when we had finished eating them we ordered dinner. The appetizers and dinner items were all nicely presented and delicious. We shared calamari and bacon wrapped scallops. For dinner we had the medallions oscar, prime NY strip and the chicken fried lobster. We didn't talk much when dinner came - all were busy eating! This was our first visit to Arthur's and all of left being very impressed. I have to mention the service from our waiter was perfect and made the evening a pleasure. We will definitely visit Arthur's again.

Espresso martini is a 10/10 hands down if made by the amazing Melissa. The absolute BEST crab cakes and shrimp cocktail. The crowd is significantly older, but it’s honestly adorable. Live music every night. Amazing food, drinks and atmosphere. Will always come back for the martinis!

This is by far my favorite restaurant in Dallas! It is fine dining. The steak and lobster are to die for! The French onion soup is the best I have ever had. The owner is very gracious, as are the waiters. The service is great. The atmosphere cannot be beat. The dining room and the club room are separate, which is like they were before he built this restaurant. I have never had better service at both the dining room and the club. The club is great. There is live entertainment that cannot be beat, one for the early crowd, and one for the late crowd. I love this place, and I would be here every night if I could. My husband loves it, too! The place is always full in the dining room and the club!

We recently held our son’s wedding rehearsal dinner at Arthur’s Steakhouse, and it was absolutely perfect. The private dining area provided the ideal setting for our family and friends, and the ambiance was warm and inviting. The food was outstanding – every dish was beautifully presented and delicious, with a great variety to please all our guests. The service was exceptional as well. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and that every detail was taken care of. It was a pleasure working with the Henry and his team at Arthur’s Steakhouse; they were professional, accommodating, and genuinely invested in making our evening special. I highly recommend Arthur’s Steakhouse for any special event. Their attention to detail, incredible food, and excellent service made our rehearsal dinner a truly memorable experience. My family gave me a surprise 60th birthday party at Arthur's. It was a very pleasant experience that I will never forget. Management was accomodating, the ambience was inviting & the food was good. After dinner, we danced & enjoyed the live band in the adjacent club. I recommend Arthur's for a romantic dinner, large party, or just a night out.

Went on 8/31 to celebrate my husband's birthday and had a great experience. For appetizer, we got the crab cake and the beef/croissant item and both were excellent. My crab cake though only 1, was full of crab and plump. For dinner we got the sea bass and stuffed salmon. 10/10 on both dishes. The sorbet to cleanse palate was a nice addition as I have been to many fine dining places that do not offer this. The ambiance was different. I can appreciate that at times I felt I wasn't in Dallas but somewhere far away or in an older time. my one downer: It was a little slower service than what I like but one can think that the restaurant paces everything.

This well-known establishment did not disappoint. It had been years since we last visited. The food was delicious, and the posh decor was elegant but not pretentious. The owner and staff went out of their way to make sure everyone felt more than special. Afterward, we enjoyed the first-rate, live entertainment in the spacious bar area. The fine establishment was the highlight of our weekend visit from Austin. We will certainly be back on our next visit.

We had three birthdays at the table the evening I visited. One of them was mine! And would you believe they brought us each a treat complimentary of the house! Thank you for that act of kindness it was not expected. Love this place it has a amazing tradition in Dallas. I felt like the rat pack was going to walk in at any second. I was looking for a new restaurant to try steak and seafood. I would suggest this restaurant for enjoying time with close friends or that special someone. They offer hearty portions for the price with a variety of items to select from. The cocktails are good and made right. I enjoyed the stuffed salmon and creamed spinach. The Rockefeller oysters are appealing. Nice for special occasions and business meetings. They also have a nice ballroom area with bar and stage for live music. You can dance the night away after your meal. ENJOY!

Cannot tell you how disappointed I am in myself for being so hungry I missed the food pics, but the ambiance is soooooo nice, I decided to proceed. Take my word for the salmon salad. Salmon was cooked to perfection with that little crisp around the edges. Seasoned. A tasty collaboration with the salad greens and mouthwatering dressing. I loved it. I also like this place a lot because it has sexy private dining where you can draw the black out curtains and the very one on one in conversation with your partner. Candlelight setting throughout.

What an amazing night! I’ve ate at some beautiful restaurants with amazing ambiance and even better food, all around the world. However Arthurs is now my number 1 all time restaurant. My filet mignon was soft and seasoned perfectly. My waiter was an amazing older gentleman that gave us that old time 30’s cinema vibe. He made it a perfect date from the restaurants end. Also I notice the head security agent making his rounds and keeping a safe eye on us, even though it’s was only 5 parties enjoying themselves. Being a veteran that put me at ease that I could enjoy an extra drink with my wife. All in all we were treated to the finest of dining, the greatest of hospitality and an outstanding experience.

Our Server's name was Sahara and she was extremely pleasant. We came in on a Friday nite and it was after 9pm. We just got married 2 weeks ago and actually went our initially to a concert downtown Dallas. The concert was boring so we came to Arthur's and it was a blast. Great music, great food and the energy and environment was great. My wife and I will be back. Great spot for my hubby's birthday dinner/date night. Upscale steakhouse w/ very romantic and intimate atmosphere despite music in the bar area. Great service and kind staff. He even got a complimentary drink from the bar before we enjoyed a whirl on the dance floor. Very welcoming and hopping dance area despite the age demographic being older couples. Great Band. We had a great time! Would come back for a date night, but a little pricey for a girls night out.

If you have not been to Arthur's, you are missing out!!! The ambience, the level of service, and professionalism is unmatched!!! If you haven't tried their signature champagne brie soup, trust me, it will CHANGE your life. I could drink bowls of that soup. It's so delicious, I use the sourdough rosemary bread to get every drop out of the bowl, it's divine!! The crab stuffed salmon was delicious and the sauce is what makes the dish. Now that Belgian chocolate mouse with the fresh berries...OMG! THE RICHNESS OF THE CHOCOLATE AND THE FRESH FRUIT balances that. I was full but could not stop eating until every drop was gone. I'm always happy when I visit Arthurs!!!

My husband and I went here for our 25th anniversary 💕 and it was great. We had an awesome waiter Hami along with all the other attentive staff. I've never seen that before and the food was delicious! My husband and I went 2 weeks ago for DFW Restaurant Week. It was our first time and we will definitely be back!! Our food was absolutely delicious. I had the wedge salad appetizer, steak, asparagus and potato entree with tiramisu dessert. My husband had the crab cake appetizer, red snapper, green bean and rice entree with chocolate mousse dessert. No complaints about the food or impeccable service. The decor was dated and very dark, but the atmosphere was fun and lively. Again, we will return.

We had visited Arthur's many years ago and went back last night to celebrate our 33rd wedding anniversary. The staff and atmosphere were exceptional. When we walked in, we were greeted by a Gentleman (wish I had got his name) that accommodated a request for different seating than what I reserved (totally my fault). Got us a great table near the dancing floor and music stage. He was SO gracious. Thank you, Sir! Our waitress did a phenomenal job of caring for us. Not only always by being on top of our requests but also her fantastic sense of humor and genuine kindness. She gave her name as Goldie Hawn 😊 which just made her that much more awesome to us. The music was great and the place has a wonderful vibe that you don’t find often. Food was really good with nice portions. This place checks all the boxes IMHO

I visited Arthur’s with a group of girlfriends (seven of us in total) and it was all of our first time there, so we weren’t quite sure what to expect. From the moment we walked in, the interior design was stunning and immediately set the tone for the evening. The management and staff were incredibly accommodating and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The food did not disappoint either. We enjoyed everything from the appetizers to the entrees to dessert, and every course hit the mark. I would definitely come back and would recommend it for a girls’ night out or any special occasion.

Very classy. There was a live music singer/musician and the atmosphere at the small dance floor in front was nice. The food was absolutely fantastic. I usually get salads but the “champagne” soup was amazing. Glad I got it. The steak and lobster meal was delicious. The best steak I’ve ever had. Very tender and savory. The waiter, “Dekota,” was very nice and welcoming. It was my first time there, and he was very helpful. The gentleman refilling waters was also very kind. Both of them made my party feel comfortable and welcomed. The dessert was delicious. Feel free to dance, everyone was having a wonderful time.

Let’s begin with the service. From the time I walked in the door to the moment we left, everyone was so pleasant. My friends say the server might’ve had an instant crush on me. 🤭 Now we can discuss the meal? I ordered the Cioppino (seafood dish). It was loaded with fish, scallops, shrimp etc in a light tomato both. It being topped with lobster was an extra treat! Yummy! 🦞 After dinner my girlfriends and I headed over to the lounge next to bar. We listened to music by a fantastic singer named Vero Voz. It happens that she and the keyboard player were wearing animal print just as I was! Of course we got a photo. With Vero singing, me and friends danced until closing time! 💃 My visit to this restaurant with all its old world glam was a perfect GNO!

Arthur’s is a top notch restaurant in Addison that has been around for a while. High end steaks, fish, lamb, and many others I want to try. If you’re looking for a white cloth dining experience or a good date night this is perfect.

What can be said about this iconic establishment. The drinks are well poured and run about $13 for your standard drink; Bombay sapphire & tonic or Titos and a mixer. The bands are always top notch and appeal to an older clientele. Seating can be tough if you are not onsite having dinner. Ther are plenty of obstructed view bar seats and 12-15 with your back to the band. Great date night space. No drama and the host is welcoming and friendly. Get to know your servers and ask for them on your next visit.

The first Old Fashioned was great. The second was not good. There is no consistency between bar tenders. The entertainment did not go with the ambiance of the dining room.

Heard about this spot and decided to come for happy hour. The ambiance is very intimate, inviting with class. If you are not mature and grown, then this is not your space. The music being played in the background reminds you of a sunny Sunday afternoon in the south. If you are looking for a place oriented to youth this is not the place. At 59 I may have been one of the younger customers in the place. Dinner at Arther one night during our visit in Dallas. Love the vibe, the retro decor, dimmed and intimate dinning room. Very friendly staffs and delicious food. The Jumbo Lump Crab Cake was so tasty, and Champagne Brie Soup really delicious. Pretty good Prime Tenderloin of Beef and the Jumbo Lump Crab Meat Stuffed Grilled Norwegian Salmon was flavorful, but a bit salty. For dessert we tried Chocolate Mouse & Tiramisu which were okay. The Homemade Tres Leches Cake was good and not too sweet. Overall we had a pleasant and lovely experience.

Parking is decent. Staff is nice. A mini lounge on the side with live ish music. The vibe is a little off to me. The inside screams Greek with the pillars, dark ish with very little romanticized lights to highlight features. Food was decent. Fish was cooked well. Mini beef wellington was overcooked.

A friend invited me to Arthur’s for happy hour. We ended up also getting dinner here. I ordered a crab cake as well as chicken piccata. She also had a crab cake and a burger. All of our food came out quickly and was pretty good, but not remarkable. We sat at the bar and the bar tenders were pretty friendly. The ambiance and atmosphere was that of a classic steakhouse (dark, dim lighting, older customers) so not my preferred vibe. I probably won’t be back but I enjoyed my meal.

My friends, husband, and I came here during restaurant week. Three of us ordered from the restaurant week menu and one ordered from the regular menu. The restaurant week menu items were amazing since it’s want I got. I got a crab cake and it was full of crab. Entree I got shrimp stuff crab and dessert I got to go because all the food took soo long to came out. My husband was the one that ordered from the regular menu for some reason his food came out first. His lobster bisque tasted a little funny to me, but the that calamari was amazing.

Prime strip steak with peppercorn sauce was tough and stringy. Better steaks at Steve Fields , Capital Grille, and Al Biernat’s. Service was excellent, atmosphere was good, but music too loud. I ordered was real prime or just select grade. Price vale was not there. Can get better prime strip steaks at Central Market for $39.00 pound vs $55.00 pound for Arthur’s and grill them myself. Understand overhead , service etc, but the dinner wasn’t worth the money. Way overrated!

Very slow service and the restaurants wasn't crowded. Food was good but the check out process was confusing. They charged a credit card fee which is illegal in Texas and they auto added gratuity. "With certain exceptions, surcharges for using a credit card or a debit card are prohibited by Chapter 604A of the Texas Business and Commerce Code: Sec. 604A. 002.Mar 10, 2020"

I had the lobster and steak special. I asked for a medium rare steak but I got a medium well steak. I could not chew most of the steak and gave it to my husband. I have been to Arthur’s numerous times. This is the first time I’ve not been pleased. The waiter started out very pleasant and helpful but insisted that my steak was medium rare without inspecting it. This is why I am rating him low.

Came during restaurant week. Food was okay the champagne brie soup saved our experience bc it was so delicious. The dining side was not busy but the wait staff took a long time to come visit table, bring drinks, and she forgot our appetizer.

My wife and I have eaten here several times and it has been excellent. This last time, however, it was extremely disappointing. The service was sub par, the steaks were overcooked, the sea bass was also overcooked, the sides arrived on the wrong plates, the asparagus was undercooked and the chandelier is caked with years of nasty dust it's absolutely revolting. We will never be returning.

What is up with charging a $4.97 credit card fee? A restaurant accepting credit cards and paying the merchant fee is just a cost of doing business. You can't pass that cost on to your customer. And, the food is average at best. I won't be back.

The restaurant was crowded and they didn’t have nearly enough waiters, and probably the kitchen was struggling as well. The soup was lukewarm, the meat tasted stale, and the service was appalling. I don’t blame the waiter. He was completely overwhelmed with the amount of tables he had to take care of.

Stopped to have some drinks and listen to the band. Ordered a Long Island Iced Tea. I took a sip and moved my tongue around what I thought was a piece of lemon. I noticed it didn't taste like lemon and spit it out. This is what I found, a full cockroach. I was disgusted. I told the waitress. I was very surprised that the manager never came by. I was sick the rest of the night just thinking of the fact that it was probably alive at first. If they can't keep them out of the drinks, I could only imagine what a risk it would be to eat here. Check your drinks and check your food. I won't be back.

Good afternoon, I hope this email reaches the appropriate person. Last night ( 08/02/2025) my boyfriend and I had reservations at 9pm , once we were seated we took a look at the menu and decided on our food options. I ordered the Australian lamb chops which came out medium rare and I couldn’t locate my waiter to advise him that I wasn’t pleased with the food , so I stopped someone that was working there. I explained to him my dislike for the food and chose another option. It took an extremely long time to get my food and not having the proper communication from the waiter wasn’t a good customer service experience. When it time to pay the bill , my boyfriend decided not to leave a tip because of our experience. The waiter came back and asked “why didn’t we leave a tip” as if we were obligated to because of the not so good experience. He then proceeded to go back and forth with words being argumentative. I definitely think this was very unprofessional, very distasteful for an upscale restaurant to have an employee like this in their establishment. And for that reason we would not be patronizing this business anymore because we could’ve chosen any steakhouse to eat at but we chose Arthur’s Steakhouse. Thanks, Brittany

Didn't realize this was one of the oldest steaks houses in DFW. It started off great. Then the waiters were rude and lazy. They never came back to check on our meals. Never came back to top off wines. Steaks that were ordered medium rare or rare both came out well done. We had 8 people at our table. Never once did the servers come back to check on our food. At most steak houses they ask you to cut into the steak to make sure it was prepared correctly. That never happened at this location. One client ordered the chicken fried lobster. Well, lets just say, it was definitely friend. So burnt, it was awful. I had to get up multiple times to take care of my clients. Getting them more water, topping off my clients wine. My steak was so burnt it was not edible. When the server Henry finally came back to clear the table he said, would you like me to box that up. When I said, no, I have been waiting for you to come back so I can get this refired. He said, we will just take it off you bill. No apology, no acknowledging anything. 3 meals ruined. But guess what? Henry surely wanted to make sure I left him a tip. Save your money and go somewhere that the staff and managers aren't rude. Joseph was the manager at the time. When we told him about this he said you should take this up with your waiter. Old, Rude, pathetic business. Fool me once!

Our ladies group made a reservation as we were told their Christmas decorations were over the top. Unfortunately, there was only 1 Christmas tree in the dining room. Nothing else. I have a garlic and beef allergy and I called and our leader that made the reservation called twice to confirm that they could make accommodation for that. We were assured that anything on the menu could be made without garlic, not once but three times. That was not the case. I ordered the pork chop, substituting a baked potato for the garlic mashed potatoes. About 10 minutes later the waiter returned and said the chop was marinated and the marinade contained garlic. Can’t have the beef, not a fan of salmon, so I asked if they could grill a chicken breast. They agreed to do that. It was awful. Not grilled but pan fried. No seasoning at all. Not even salt and pepper. It was dry and tasteless.
