Love this great little place! EVERYTHING on their menu I tried so far is delicious!, and will be going back! We tried the fish and chips (DELICIOUS!), the hummus (very creamy homemade dip with just enough warm pita and carrots and celery), the rusty nuts (fried mashed potato balls with bacon and cheese inside), and their jalapeno poppers( filled with cheese, half a jalapeno and chorizo!!!)...will be trying more different foods when I come back! The beer menu is amazing, with lots of UK choices not available anywhere else, and a giant scotch choice menu! Love this place!
Here for a midweek champions league match, Not the result we’d have liked but bumped into Donna, really missed you at our weekend matches! ❤️Karen and Des
We were in town for the weekend and looking for a proper English pub. This establishment delivered that and more. We were lucky enough to visit on a match day and get the full experience. Their Full English breakfast is delicious and just like I’ve had in the UK. Very friendly staff that made us feel welcome and appreciated. We’ll definitely be back on our next visit!
This place was amazing. Jamie was our waiter and was absolutely amazing. I took my wy wife for her birthday and Jamie made her feel special thank you so much. The food was great atmosphere was great I will be back and tell all my friends. Thank you jamie
Husband and I have been coming for a year now and we love it! They've updated the menu and its even better. Always consistently good food and drinks. Friendly staff. We had Jamie waiting on us I believe. Love watching soccer games here.
I haven't been here in a decade, but really wanted breakfast. The Londoner came through! Delicious with an Old Speckled Hen on nitro. Made my morning!
Every time we are back in Dallas we come to the Londoner to watch Liverpool FC with our OLFC buddies. Guinness is great and food is usually very good.
Great food and atmosphere. Only nick was appetizers came at same time of meal. Will be back soon.
Best cheesy fries EVER, and the pineapple curry wings are yummy too! We are gluten-free so we can't enjoy most of the other food or long list of rotating tap, but they always have a couple ciders on tap, and a few more in bottles or cans, plus fun cocktails. I wish there were a little more cider variety on tap. The super long list of beers gets us jealous of all the different flavors/breweries we can't try, so we always appreciate when there is more than one new cider on the list at each visit. Also their new patio awnings are really nice, and the service is always awesome. Def one of our regular local spots.
Good British food, would definitely come again. Great wait staff, amazing gravy, and a solid #3 for bangers in the DFW area (which still means they are good!), Aland the best mash around. Fish and chips are decent as well and served with a proper malt gravy, house ketchup, lemons, and tartar sauce.
Quiet spot on the evening I went with my infant, fiance, and mother. We all sat in a corner booth and had the fish and chips based off reviews. It was delicious, hot, and flaky. A good price for a good plate of food. Sticky toffee pudding was so tasty we took another one home. Would go back again and again for that dessert. They have nice happy hour specials and simple menu. Be careful, they do allow smoking inside with a non smoking section.
The atmosphere is like being in the UK even our waiter was British. There is some variety to the food. I had the New Dehli which is tandoori chicken on pita Absolutely Delicious. My Wife had the Bangers and mash and she said it was some of the best she's ever had. High recommended. The beer was good too. Duncan was fantastic. He gave great recommendations and was wonderful as a server. We will definitely return the next time we are in town.
Amazing recreation of a British pub. Located in the type of area you usually find chains, this is a great departure from the norm. The interior and exterior are decked out and you really feel a long ways from Texas. Service was good and the food came out fast. Fair prices. Good list of drinks including fun British options. I had the scotch eggs, fried nuts, and the bangers and mash. Note that the portion pictured for that dish is only a half order! Everything was delicious. The pudding served with the bangers and mash was a little hard but I can’t speak to the authenticity of that. Scotch eggs were my personal favorite.
Do you like good food? Are you into dimly lit rooms with brick ambience, efficient servers, big screen televisions, and … lots and lots of soccer? You don’t even have to be into soccer ( although it’s even better if you are ), because the food and ambience and staff are enough to make it worth the trip. Have you ever had real fish and chips? With a real beer? Stop reading this review, grab you partner, buddy or coworkers and head out to The Londoner.
What a great time! We just hosted our high school reunion there. The staff was amazing and so accommodating! Shout out to Jace, Cole and Abraham for taking care of a bunch of boomers! Great food and beverages. Hope to do this again soon.
A family favorite for Premier League games, we came in for EURO 2020 games. Since we didn't come in for the England game, but instead Spain, we were able to find seats. I heard it was standing room only during England games. Drinks are good and the place definitely has a comfy feel. Love coming here for futbol matches and would recommend for a community feel.
Love the ambiance. It's quite English and I love it. They had English Premiere games on when I came for lunch with my friend. Sausage and chips and a nice brew at the bar. Definitely a great meal. I had no problem clearing my plate and the bartender was really keen on taking care of us. Definitely recommend and will be back!
My son and I dined in together early on a Friday evening. The atmosphere is spot on 😂 Jamie was our server and just did a wonderful job. Truly caring and friendly. He made it real easy to navigate the varied menu. Enjoyed his suggestions. He made us feel really welcomed. He was very attentive from the time he greeted us when we first arrived to the very end, without being intrusive. The food could not have been better. Looking forward to the next time.
When I think of a British pub filled with soccer fans cheering, drinking and having an amazing time, I think of the Londoner. When I want a quiet place to have lunch with some colleagues from work, I think of the Londoner. This is a great place for both. I recommend the Londoner for outstanding service, food, drinks, and atmosphere. This week several of us were there for lunch. I had the chicken breast and avocado sandwich. Delicious. To drink I went with the Old Compton, a cocktail made of Absolut vodka • peach schnapps • lime juice • cranberry juice • sparkling wine. Of course, if you are into whiskey and scotch, there is a nice selection that compliments the robust craft beer available. When in the mood I do like a Guinness draught.
Great place for family brunch...the service was fast and friendly and the food was delicious. For those soccer fans, the games were on big screens and there were comfy couches to sit on.
Best place to watch soccer and enjoy some good food! P.S. They have fantastic coffee! 2021 Update: This place is still awesome and one of my favorite spots in the city, for breakfast I love their Breakfast Tacos, for lunch I love their Chicken & Chips or the Grilled Chicken & Avocado Sandwich or the Burger (Tower of London Burger), and for Desert they have the best Sticky Toffee Pudding with Coffee!
Always love this place as long as I can stay away from the smokers, which is about 80% of the place. The chicken and chips tossed in the hot sauce is awesome, so is the chicken sandwich and the shepards pie. Cheese board is great too.UPDATE 03.15.2019. Absolutely love the chicken and chips tossed in the Sambol hot sauce. Check out the pics.
We tend to only get there for brunch on Sundays but we love it! Beverage selection is terrific! Brunch menu has just about everything on it. Food is always delicious! Ambiance is cozy and pub like. Fun to watch euro sports there. Lots of cheering and fun times. Staff is attentive and super chill. A go to when we are on the west side of town
The Londoner in Addison, TX is one of the best British-style pubs I've ever been to! From the moment I walked in, I was immediately transported to a cozy pub in the heart of London. The atmosphere was fantastic, with low lighting, cozy booths, and vintage decor that really captured the essence of a traditional British pub. But what really stood out to me was the food and drink. The beer selection was fantastic, with a great range of cask ales, stouts, and IPAs on offer, as well as a fantastic selection spirits. And the food was simply delicious - hearty British classics like bangers and mash, fish and chips, and their Turkey Melt is my favorite, all prepared to perfection. The service was also top-notch. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and always happy to chat and recommend their favorite beers or dishes. And despite the pub being busy, I never felt rushed or neglected - the staff really made me feel like a valued guest. Overall, I can't recommend The Londoner enough. Whether you're looking for a cozy spot to grab a pint with friends or a delicious meal with your family, this pub has everything you could want and more. If you're in the Addison area, make sure to check it out and sit by the fireplace if you're really looking to relax!
Our waitress is from England. Her accent made our experience more authentic. Food was served at the right temperature. Fish was fresh and the coating was crispy. Nice lunch experience.
Had an absolute fantastic couple of nights here. Good beer, great atmosphere and top music. Didn't try the food but my mates said it was very good. Great place to sit around, chill and relax. A good mix of locals and ex-pats.
I love this place. Amazing food, great drinks, welcoming friendly enviroment, plenty of TVs to watch the game, outdoor patio you can sit at and smoke. There are even some areas without TVs if you want a more personal enviroment. It also has darts and a pool table. Its open seating, so you can sit wherever you want. The service is great. I would have given 5 stars, But sometimes once you get there you may need to flag down the waiter or tell the bar you need a waiter at your table to get seen faster. But once the waiter knows you are there, they will take great care of you.
Great place, service and food! Our waitress (Sea) was very nice and helpful in finding out if certain items on the menu were gluten free or not. I had the pan seared salmon with Mashed potatoes instead of rice. We enjoyed playing darts and pool while there also. Very happy with the experience!
1st time ever having a Reuben and this will be my forever place for it. Sooooo delish and flavorful. My waitress Jakie was amazing. Lovely quiet lunch. Mac and cheese was on point too! Definitely recommend!
I recently visited The Londoner for the first time and absolutely LOVED IT! The staff at this location is so attentive and polite. I definitely felt welcomed there! I came on a double date with friends and we ordered some appetizers and drinks. Everything was served hot, quickly and with a smile. I love going to places like these, where the entire service experience is top tier. Did I mention that the inside of this place is awesome? You are literally inside a English pub in the middle of Texas! How cool!! I will definitely be returning to this place, as my Bo loves Soccer! His team is Chelsea FC, so you know we will be coming back here to enjoy some beers and the game! You must try, especially if you are a soccer fan!
We went to see the Liverpool vs Manchester United FA Cup quarter final game and it was also St. Patrick's Day! They had a Liverpool fan room and a ManU fan room. It was a fun atmosphere! I had The Full Monty breakfast Irish Style and a green beer. Everything was delicious and felt authentic.
Came for the first time. Jordy was the bartender and she made the whole experience so much more amazing. Not to mention pours the fastest black velvet I’ve ever seen. We will come back just to see her, not to mention the food was amazing. Our new must go to spot whenever we are in Dallas! Thank you to the whole staff for everything!
This place has been on my bucket list ever since I passed by it. Love love the atmosphere and our server Donna was lovely! I did my A levels in Leeds and have not had a Scotch egg since I left Yorkshire. All foods are great! Will definitely come back whenever I am in the area!
Me and my son - not from Dallas area - we driving down Midway and found the pub. What a great experience. Donna - great personality- recommend a scotch that was reasonable. We had fish and chips and my son had bangers and mash. Both were excellent!! Well that that all great Donna said want to try Sticky Toffee Pudding. We ordered on - should have ordered two- was out of this world. Was warm and tasted super. I will be back, it is worth the stop !!!!
I like the food. Its definitely got a British style type of food. The fish and chips were good. The Guinness stew was excellent. Am excited to try more of the food. And the bartender was friendly and attentive. Always a plus in my opinion.
Want to slip into a little bit of England? Not quite like my experience of a real English pub, but pretty close. I didn’t see one English officer or bobby (Sorry, I watch too many shows on BritBox.) My husband had the fish and chips and I was very pleased with my Bangers and Mash accompanied with a small! Yorkshire Pudding. Don’t go for the food, go for the atmosphere. Even my Paulaner was so-so.
Our server was Jackie. She was terrific, if my business was in or near Addison I would hire her immediately! Our food was outstanding. The loaded fries were delicious. The Rueben and salad fresh and without flaw. I had a draft beer and it was cold and delicious. All and all it was easy 5 stars and we will go again.
OMG is this place awesome! Although it’s been on my list for quite a while, I was inspired to check this place out by a friend at the time. The place looks great from its old timely feel to it, and it even has a fireplace which I need to see lite during a winter visit. The thick fresh cut fries are are 10 times better than Five Guys, and the chicken tenders are outstanding. They taste a lot like Longhorn Steakhouse’s strips, but with this really good beer battered breading. Super delicious. 😋 This is the first time I’ve given a restaurant a perfect 5/5 ranking since both Scotty P’s & Longhorn Steakhouse, and is now my 2nd most favorite restaurant in Texas. I can’t recommend this place enough, so, if you are in Addison or Dallas, I HIGHLY recommend eating here. ^-^
Food was excellent! The sausages are made in house and we're perfect. The fries with curry are also excellent. I can't wait to come back the next time I'm in town. Well worth the visit!
Great place for a beer with fish and chips. The cheese fries were great. I personally liked the chicken stripe and chips. They do have some authentic British dishes such as bangers and mash. Great atmosphere.
Absolute package if you are looking for a pub style bar. The food is also really fantastic. My favorite is the fish and chips, but we have also had a few events with some of their catering menu options and LOVE the sliders. If you are a “football” fan I always see tons of fans here to watch the games. They have a small pool and darts area which is nice. I have met the owner once to book the event room upstairs and she was nothing short of the sweetest person. Highly recommend!
Truly authentic London pub in Dallas metroplex area. A perfect location on Midway & Beltway Dr right off I-635. Plenty of carking and shades. They serve one of best chicken strips or fish and chips in town. It is a sport pub with many TV and sport showing. Highly recommend for visitors or Arsenal and EPL fans clubs to hangout and enjoy a game of football ⚽. Big shout to the chefs and all staffs for a great customer service and good recommendations on food and how quick is it. Big thanks to the chefs, Jackie, Matthew and Arie for a very good first time experience. Definitely coming back and enjoy the good food and drinks. Pictures worth a thousand words. 🐠🍟🍻
Nice vibe, Good food :) My husband wanted to try this place so we visited after watching movie at the theater. I like their interior design and all the decoration. quite nice vibe :D Outdoor place also is very cute. They keep the red public phone booth which made us feel England a bit. All the staff were kind and the servers were talking in English accent. It was interesting and I liked it haha fit with vibe here. I did't expect the food much but actually, it was quite good :)
Pub fare at its finest. The service provided by J was top notch. Super friendly, informative and very attentive. The draft beer is super cold and so very tasty. We started with the Scotch eggs and they were darn near perfect. The strawberry jalapeño jam slapped. I had the second best fish n chips of my life and my friend the Cottage pie, which he could not eat for nearly half an hour of it being served as it looked like it was boiling when it the table. Stuffed as we were we soldiered toward dessert and had the apple crumble. It was a solid finish to a great meal. We will be back soon. I wish I could give more than 5 stars.
We noticed this restaurant had outdoor seating that allowed our bully Buddy to join us for lunch. This is the first time we've eaten here and the experience was all around very nice. We started with an appetizer called Rusty Nuts, pic included as to what these delicious little balls of fried goodness are made of. Taylor got the lunch special 1/2 order of the delicious fish and chips and I got the Salmon with Dill Sauce and green beans. Everything was delicious. Buddy enjoyed himself too. We will eat here again.
My go to place for some fish and chips. Been here quite a few times and will be back again. The bread pudding is to die for. Has to be one of the best desserts I’ve ever had. You cannot go wrong with anything on this menu. Tip - walk around and pick a seat that suits your preference as each spot has a different ambiance.

Good food and good atmosphere. I enjoy going here with friends. The staff are always nice, attentive and helpful.

Had a great time at the Londoner. The place has a lot of charm and transports you to England. Friendly staff. Split the hummus and had a great IPA.
The food was good and pretty authentic as usual. We are outside and it was nice. We usually have great service but this time the server while nice, did not actually serve us. Orders were messed up, no drink refills, and items requested multiple times were not given. Also the bill was not split (even though we've done this multiple times before) and people paid for higher amounts than what they ordered. The subpar service tarnished the whole evening.
It's an English style bar, the entire environment was designed to make you feel like you're in the UK. Even the TVs cycle through English news and landmarks. The food was okay, I felt that it was a bit limited and the choices wasn't that great. But you have to remember, it's a bar 1st, not a restaurant. So the point is that you drink 1st and then you order some food.
Great food, wished portions were bigger, still a bit hungry after our meal. Very loud place, some sort of game with DJ that was on the speakers placed throughout the entire restaurant. Could hardly hear the person across the table.
Londoner offers a chill outdoor atmosphere with ample space. They have a good indoor space for a big and small crowds. Their food is palatable. However, service could have been better.
Place was awesome! Just as I remembered it as a teen/young adult! Looking forward to bringing my kids here for some matches on the TV! MAN UNITED ALL THE WAY!!!
I like this little bar. Didn't know what to expect. The bar was close to our hotel and so we walked over to have a late night drink 🍸. Ended up having some wings, the Dr Pepper BBQ and half Asian sweet and sour, but what took the show were the FRIES...oh I can appreciate a nice plump fry. These were amazing!!! They have a seasoning on them that put me in the mind of another place, that I can't recall right now. I travel blog sooo much. But they were good 👍🏽. The staff was friendly and I definitely felt like I was in the UK. This place felt cozy.
Food was decently priced for the proportions, and was well prepared. The inside smoking is the main deterrent for me going here on a regular basis. Our server, Jace, was excellent.
First time visit while out of town. Really loved the atmosphere. Our server was very friendly too. Good selection of beer and spirits. I've never had a scotch egg, so I decided to order one. Very unique and tasty! The fish needed some salt in the batter, but it was cooked nicely. The Sticky Toffee Pudding was delicious!
I wanted to try the Shepard pie and yorkshire pudding. Food was pretty good, but I couldn't find anyone to see where to pick up my order. No one to greet me or tell me where to go. A host would be great especially for first timers.
What a fun experience! My son and I decided to give them a try on a weekday evening. As soon as you walk in it feels like you are transported to a pub in England. The inside decor is one of the coolest pubs I’ve ever been in. The far wood, decorations and even dark atmosphere was a big part of our experience. Donna was our server and she was awesome! She explained everything to us and gave us tips. Quick to tend to our drinks and never disappeared too long. I had a cup of tomato soup that was really good. Loved that it came out steaming hot and tasted amazing! The I follows up with the cottage pie. Loved it also. Great flavor and once again came out piping hot. Definitely coming back to try something different.

I had their chicken Indian dish and it was very good. I liked their Naan bread served with it.

They made us wait for 30 min and none of the waitress showed up. We really got tired of calling them. If you want to try different beers from the local brewerys, you have parked your car in the right place. The naan pizza and the stuffed jalapenos are the best. Good place to hangout with big groups on game night's.
This place is has a great pub atmosphere, heavy wood everywhere and a decent beer selection with lots of local representation. Tonight, Jamie waited on us and his service was incredible. I forgot how bad the food was though-I’ve eaten here in the past & usually order fish & chips or buffalo chicken sandwich, so tonight I got one and my man got the other. The fish & chips only had 2 slim fillets and a pile of disgusting thick potatoes with grease. My buffalo chicken sandwich had a good crunchy breading, but it came with the same stomach churning warm Moderately hard potatoes coated in grease (chips). Likely the worst French fries/chips I’ve ever had. And I feel like the food is expensive for what you get. 2 tiny fish for $21? J. Said, “Long John Silver’s is way better.” That should tell you everything you know about the food. We grabbed fast food after because everything else was closed. Stick with the drinks, trivia, and good service here but I recommend eating elsewhere. Sorry, The Londoner.

This place really let us down. I was expecting great British pub food and was given bland old British food. There is a resurgence of British food that is supposed to be more flavorful than “old school” bland British food and that was what I was hopping for here. My wife had the fish and chips. The fish and chips were both very soggy and not crispy as they should be. They didn’t give us any malt vinegar in out to go order so that was missing. The only good thing about her plate was the tartar sauce that came with it. I had the bangers and mash. It was ok, the gravy was very bland and I had to add salt and pepper to give it some flavor. Also here is the description of this dish from the web site: “Traditional English sausage, served with mashed potatoes with a Yorkshire pudding, smothered in rich onion gravy.” As you can see from my pictures, there was no Yorkshire pudding, which was what I was really looking forward to with this dish. We also had the scotch eggs as an appetizer. They were ok but very dry. We got the bread pudding. Again, it was ok. It is not the best we ever had but also not the worst. All in all, an ok experience that we know not to repeat in the future.
Used to be a great pub with great food. Over the last several years, I've been less impressed each time I visit. I wanted an English pub, this place only has visual remnants of that. I don't expect expect to return. Listening to Mexican polka music while eating at an English pub....ugh.
Tried The Londoner Addison on a whim for dinner before a night out and have less than mixed feelings about the experience. Not likely that we’ll ever come back. The impression we get is that this is a venue to come have drinks, appetizers and watch games. Most definitely not the place for a casual, tasty meal. Would rather have gone to Jake’s across the street. Food: Cheesesteak Rolls - these were probably the best item we had! Very flavorful and came out hot! Fish and Chips - no complaints, but fish and chips is hard to mess up. Chicken Tikka Masala - flavor was lacking and some chunks of seasoning were unmixed in the dish. The naan bread that came with was also stale and lacking in flavor. Coke - flat…even after server changed it out. Service: If you want an authentic London experience of not ever seeing your server, then this is the place to go! Our server was missing in action most of the time. Atmosphere: Very dark inside and also a little loud. Somewhat like a British pub, but not really. Overall: 2.5 ⭐️
The chicken tikka masala was a waste of money. Inspite of telling our server it was bad, he did not do anything about it !! The fries were just okay. Worst experience ever !! Will not recommend!!
