Opiniones de Yi Fang Tea Alamda
This probably the best fruit tea chain of all places. They have real fruits in their tea, never too sweet even if you go for 100% sugar. Always love their grapefruit passion fruit tea and sugar cane mountain tea is now my no. 1 seasonal tea. I can drink one everyday!
Refreshing, not to sweet, great tea. I had the grapefruit green tea (left) which was light and citrus with a hint of sweetness 20%. My friend had the winter melon lemonade (right), that was too sweet for my taste.
Tried this spot for some boba. I really wanted a basic black milk tea which I figured out is the black tea milk latte or something like that. I ended up getting the Mango Pomelo Sago with 70% sweetness. It’s super delicious with boba. Not too sweet at all, which is the main reason I avoid fruit teas. My friend got a Mango Sago with grass jelly and boba which she had been looking forward to trying and it did not disappoint. It’s located next to Michaels in the Target Shopping Center so parking in easy. It’s a small little shop with no room to wait. You order on the touchscreen and go outside to wait for your order. Great experience and fast service!
I tried the signature "Yifang Fruit Tea" with 30% sweetness as they recommend though I took no-ice instead of less-ice. The tea itself tastes fruity, not too sweet and overall well balanced. The bountiful passion fruit seeds are a great touch. The fruit slices float above it all but I'm not sure if they have a real effect. I do really like this tea but I also have to say I prefer the moomo (Sunnyvale) fruit drink because it has more of a diverse set of fruit and bits in it. Still this is top notch and worth the 5⭐. I'll try more from the menu when I'm in the area.
The Mango Pomelo Sago was amazing. It had a really nice mango flavor and there were some small bits of pomelo, not too much though. Just the right amount. At first, the serving size seems really small, but the drink is really calorie dense so it still feels like a lot after finishing it. The Sago was good too. It wasn't overwhelming. Fit well with the drink. I would always recommend
We tried their strawberry milk and it was super delicious! We loved the texture of the drink it was very drinkable. We did 30 percent sugar and it was perfect not too sweet and had good strawberry flavor as well. Definitely going back to try more things on their menu!
The store is not big, no indoor seat. But make drinks fast. I usually order online and go pick up. Taste as good as other Yi Fang store. Mango Pomelo Sago(杨枝甘露), Cheese Creamer Strawberry(芝芝梅梅), Grass Jelly Almond Latte are my favorite. I lose count how many times I had these. Will keep going for a long time.
YiFang is one of my favorite boba places and I’m so happy to see a new store open near where I live! Premium ingredients: tasty dairy milk, sweetened with brown sugar. The brown sugar match latte is a must get! The lite sweetness level is perfect if you’re not a big sweet tooth. I found everything blended very nicely together and finished my drink in no time. Efficient service as well.
Order ahead online or via app and they text you when your order is done. Love that they don't use artificial flavors and have different milk options. Their boba is the best around- great sweetness level and texture. Lots of outdoor seating outside and parking lot behind the building or in the parking structure a street over on Bryant.
Ordered the sugarcane mountain tea and was not disappointed. Fresh sugarcane flavor balanced by a nice subtle tea flavor. Also added a very unique mochi topping which is actually pretty delicious and a unique novelty that I haven’t seen before. Ordering can be done via a tablet outside which is nice.
Stopped by this Taiwanese milk tea shop and tried their fruit tea super fresh and flavorful, but a bit too sweet for me even at 30%. Still tasty, just wish the sweetness leaned a little lighter. No seating area here, so most people just hang around outside the store waiting for their drinks or chatting around the corner. Kinda adds to the casual, street-style vibe though. Also got the Sun Moon Lake black tea good overall, but could be a little stronger. 30% sugar was perfect for that one. Overall, solid spot for a quick tea fix.
Their Signature Yifang fruit tea is excellent. It comes with slices of fruit. The tea is fragrant and flavorful. The best fruit tea I've tried. Also tried one of the seasonal item: Kyoho Grape Breeze. It's also good with a slight hint of grape flavor. Would like the grape flavor to be stronger. Their drink is very good, however, this place is super small. There is only one line to enter and come out, and no place to stand around inside while waiting for your drink. It gets congested easily when it is crowded. When you drink is ready, you'll have to squeeze your way through to get inside during peak hours.
This has become our new favorite go-to place for summer drinks. We love their Mango fruit tea and Mango Pomelo Sago with 50 percent sugar. 30 percent sugar is great too. Would love to try more recipes here. 8-9$ for a large drink per person, feels a bit expensive if you’re a regular.
Update: the smashed lemon iced tea is perfect for a hot summer day. Cute little bubble tea place on Castro street. Got the brown sugar pearl cocoa bubble tea latte - came with a lot of boba and hot chocolate at the bottom. Recommend mixing it vigorously to get the best flavor. The hot chocolate tasted like it was sweetened with honey although I’m not sure. There were two tablets through which one needs to order and pay. They ask for your number and send you a text when your order is ready. No chatting with the cashier which is a drawback in my opinion.
I got the matcha brown sugar. With least sweetness and ice. Flavor was very good but the boba were too mushy for me. They were like melting, had no shape and were not that chewy. More loose and slimy. I like boba that have some give and chew but still fresh. Price is a little pricey, $8 for the size is I think 1-2 dollars too expensive
My cousin recommended Yi Fang versus another boba shop across the street so, we went there on Monday night after dinner. The shop is very small with no seats inside but there are 2 tables for outdoor seating. There was a short line so I thought this should be good. There are 2 iPad (one inside & one outside the shop) to place order. They do have lots of variety of menu. I recommend to look at the poster before ordering because it can be overwhelming. I ordered regular size Fresh Taro latte with mochi cake jelly (30 % sugar & no ice). I put in my phone number. I got the receipt & was called via text when my order was ready. Despite the short line, the service was pretty quick (less than 10 minutes). The fresh taro latte was pretty good. It's basically milk with lots of taro bits. The mochi cake jelly was good! And they put generous amount of the jelly. Even with 30% sweetness, it was still sweet for me (more like 50% sugar in other place). Thankfully, the unsweetened taro bits can counter the sweetness of the milk. I will probably try their fruit tea next time.
Had their bogo special. Sugar cane mountain tea and their fruit tea. Sugar cane mountain tea was four stars for me. Had it with 30% sweet since sugar cane is already pretty sweet. Tasted good, but not much sugar cane taste. The fruit tea was great. So good we went back for a second one the same day! Really refreshing, not to sweet and perfect for a hot day. Don't expect much from the fruit inside the drink though. Would definitely get the fruit tea again.
In my experience, the best boba around. Wonderful taste, texture, and temperature (I highly recommend the brown sugar pearl black tea latte). However, like with most other boba shops, I can only go on occasion because the packaging all goes to the landfill.
I ordered mango pomelo 50% sweet. But it's still over sweet, like 100% I could enjoy it because it was too sweet, but my friends' drinks were good 👍🏽.
misleading buy one get one free offer for the green grape sago. it's 2-6pm but they don't make it clear when you order on the kiosk. placed order at 6:02 because it makes you put your phone number and asks you to get a membership or something (got in line a few min before 6). employee was unsympathetic and the drink was mediocre. the grape flavor was artificial and the lowest sweetness, 30% was far too sweet. they claim to use cane sugar but it tastes like erythritol. the tea was also too mild. it was also $8 which doesn't reflect the size and taste at all.
