Opiniones de YOKEE Alameda
I’ve been visiting this boba shop regularly to pick up drinks for my wife. It’s one of her favorites, and over time one of mine as well. The quality keep us coming back. I’ll be sure to capture better photos next time to do the presentation justice. Since I started coming here, the menu has undergone a few changes. Some longtime favorites have been retired ( I still miss the banana milk tea) but they’ve introduced new specials that continue to impress. On this visit, I tried the Cocoa Volcano Brown Sugar Boba, White Peach Oolong Tea Latte, and the Durian Coffee Latte. The Cocoa Volcano is one of our staples. The White Peach Oolong, topped with fresh cream was a standout, but not in the right cup for my preference. The Durian Coffee Latte was unique. There were a good amount of durian chunks that I ended up blending, and added a bit more coffee to suit my taste, and the result was great. Our usual picks also include the Matcha and Coffee Volcano, as well as the Lychee, Passion Fruit Tea, and Hazelnut Milk Tea. All consistently well-executed with fresh flavors and high-quality ingredients.
My absolute FAVORITE place to get boba! They make beautifully curated and high quality tea drinks that aren't going to cost you $8 a drink (including the classic add-ons!). You honestly can't go wrong with any flavor you choose. In lieu of that sentiment, I tried the Puff Cream Milk Tea for the first time yesterday and it was SO GOOD. The cream is cake flavor so you get an earthy/sweet/dessert balance with the black tea and cream. I picked up a classic jasmine milk tea for my friend. I usually get a plant based milk and chose soy milk for both. I'm hoping to try their soy milk tea special next time. It seems like their currently out?? 😭 I think a lot of people mention the wait time but I think it's just for the rush hour window (lunch time) I went about an hour before they closed and it was very breezy of a wait!
I love the light but rich flavor. It tastes healthy and good the same time!
It is one of the best boba tea I’ve ever tried in Bay area. I had mochi soy drink with 0% sugar. The mochi is super soft. I wish I could get more mochi. The mochi cream is light sweet and full of flavor. The milk tea has strong tea aroma without being bitter. The parking is a bit tricky since it is in downtown. I ordered online and came for pick up since parking is tough.
Got the fresh milk volcano. It was made quickly, and was delicious. You get to choose your sweetness level, 25%, 50%, 75% or 100% ( which is regular), and you also get to choose the ice level on it, too (25, 50, 75, or 100%). Also, the price is good too. I've seen places expensiver with smaller cups and not as tasty, so definitely recommend.
The drinks here are absolutely amazing, and I couldn't get enough of the durian drink—it was love at first sip! Though a bit on the pricier side, it's definitely worth a try for the unique flavors. I also gave the mochi drink a shot on another day, and it was quite good too. However, I must say, having tried mochi elsewhere, the ones here at Yokee's didn't quite match up. Cafe de Mama in LA, for instance, had a better version. Yokee's mochi has a somewhat tricky taste that just didn't quite hit the mark for me. Nonetheless, the overall drink experience is a winner!
The taro boba tea was fantastic! They use real taro, and you can taste the difference. The actual store is very small, and there are two little tables right outside.
Good milk teas, I like the peppermint, caramel and rose milk teas. The rose milk with lychee jelly is a really awesome combo. The coffee volcano is great and the cheese teas are good too. Would recommend any of those drinks.
Super friendly staff who gladly walked us through the entire menu. It's owned and managed by a family, which shows it the quality of the Yokee. I had a Pearl Black Milk Tea, which was delicious. The parking was easy downtown on the Saturday afternoon I last came as well.
I’m a durian lover, and just had their Duran Sago 25% sugar for the first time, and is was beyong expectation. LOVE it!!
One of the best pearl milk teas in the Bay Area with strong tea flavor. 25% sugar works for me. The only down side is the wait is a bit long.

If you love milk, tea and mochi you have to get their new “Mochi milk tea” 🤤 it’s worth the calories. milky, creamy, soft goodness 😌
So good!! We came back every time we were in the area. Loved everything we had. The boba was fresh, the right sweetness and consistency. Milk tea, fruit green tea, mango sago, mochi soy milk tea. Good balance on the milk tea - solid tea flavor with the right amount of milkiness. For all our drinks we adjusted to 25-50% sugar, to our tastes, and were very happy with the sugar level. All fantastic!! Highly recommend this shop!
I work near this spot, I often go there for smoothies. The staff are always kind and welcoming, which makes the experience enjoyable. I really appreciate the friendly atmosphere and always look forward to stopping by.

it is small shop which touch screen kiosk to order near Oakland Chinatown. Practically you have to wait for the person in front of you finish their order before you get it. it might fit max 4 to 5 people. There are plenty option from the menu. You can choose sweet option. The drink is pretty good. The price is reasonable.
First time with family. So fresh and delish. Didn’t have Ube which was a disappointment but still tasty. We had taro tea milk shake, fresh strawberry milk shake, and a coconut latte hot. All great. Long line in a Sunday afternoon. Simple self service ordering. Took a long time but worth the wait.
Pretty solid bubble milk tea & only choice in the downtown area (5 minutes walk from 19th St Bart station). Shop is very small, no real seating, most just stand in front of the shop and wait for their orders. Prices are in line with other shops in Chinatown. Tea is average or better than most shops (fragrant, not watered down) & bubbles usually have the right chew, not too hard or soft. Has lots of non tea choices on the menu too including fruit smoothies. Friendly staff. Keep up the good work!
Nut allergy friendly, did not even ask or make a note. I had a friend bring me an Oolong Milk Tea with 25% sugar, 50% ice, with boba. The boba texture was a bit stiff, but the oolong tea flavor was perfect and delicious. I'd come back again.
This place is literally a hole-in-the-wall, but the line out the door (no room to stand inside) is a good indicator of its location. There were literally 2 small tables inside. I wanted Hojicha with Durian Cheese Mousse, but was disappointed when I was told they are out of Hojicha and no longer offer durian cheese. The cashier recommended Puff Cream Milk Tea. To be honest, the drink was alright, especially comparing to the same drink at Happy Lemon. Also, the boba was a bit on the hard side. Overall, I'd give this place a 3.5-star based on the drink I got.

Yokee is good, not great. The taste is good, but I think that the balance between the bitterness of the tea and the sugar could be better. Maybe it's because I ordered a bitter tea, but I also got it 100% sweet. The lines are long at lunch time, but it goes quickly. A few small seating areas outside and inside, but mostly get it to go! Staff are darling sweet!

I couldn’t taste any tea. Just milk and sugar. The milk didn’t taste very fresh and the boba wasn’t that great. They do give a decent amount of boba though. This is the 2nd time I have gone there. Never again.
