Amazing #pizza. I had a grandma slice and we shared an eggplant parmagina pasta. Both were awesome! The pizza was a good thickness and just the right amount of toppings and sauce. The eggplant parm was pretty big and delicious. The service was excellent. The guy at the counter was super nice and served us really quickly. I will definitely be back. I'm a huge huge pizza fan and Louie's is as good as any pizza.

I don't remember how I found this place but I am sure happy I did the food is banging 😋. My wife and I love some of the various unique entries (chicken with crabmeat,agnolotti) chicken piccata,egg plant parmigiana,pizza & the chicken parmigiana hero was HUMONGOUS 😱😋❤️There was never a time we were disappointed. The prices are incredibly inexpensive for the abundance of portions you receive and the staff is exceptional. It is an old-school vibe and love that feeling. Best pizza in the area. I found their pizza very flavorful. I recommend the specialty slices like chicken and tomato, grandma slice, buffalo chicken. I will try some of the pasta dishes and sandwiches, they look delicious.

Went out of our way to see if it was as good as everyone says, and it surpassed expectations !!! Do yourself a favor and just go. Such a down to earth place. Felt like home !! They even helped pack a pizza for me to fly home to my husband. Love everything about the food, the owners, and everything they stand for.

If you've ever walked into a pizzeria and thought, "Steak?! That can't be good." Be prepared to eat your words at this place. Honestly, I would've have thought the same thing, but when someone vouches for it, you're willing to give it a shot. Thankfully, I did. A good sized ribeye, at a great price. Came here to try the ribeye steak. It was flavorful and cooked medium rare as requested! Potatoes and carrots and bread are a nice bonus!! Best of all owner is super friendly and I can hear he cares for his neighbors and customers.

Flew all the way from Orlando to visit my old stomping grounds in Elmhurst. Googled best pizza in Elmhurst and Louie's Pizzeria popped up. Saw what the brave owners did a couple years ago and decided to check this place out. Let me tell you that it did not disappoint. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and promptly took our order. Driving along the nyc streets and Louie’s decided to invade my personal space and take my nostrils on a journey …. Inside gave a real original pizza shop vibe…. I went with the ribeye and tbh was disappointed…. Only that I didn’t get medium …. The flavors, the char, the potatoes and carrots everything was on point…. Last year around October, a friend and I flew into LGA to see Eric Clapton in concert. We are always in search of the best pizzas wherever we go. We found Louies through yelp, due to it's almost 5 star rating. A very well earned one at that. For some "out of towners", they made us feel right at home.Pizza was out of this world. Perfectly cooked. We ate the entire large pizza between the two of us because it was so delicious. The pepperoni they use here is simply superb. Incredibly flavorful. The crust stayed perfectly crispy the whole time. I cannot wait to come back again!

Their grandma pizza has genuinely stayed in my mind. Large size, great price, and delicious pizza. Their grandma pizza had pesto drizzle with red sauce, and a thick but crispy crust. Louie's is a staple in our dinner rotation. The chicken caesar salad comes with crisp romaine, homemade caesar dressing, and a generous serving of perfectly grilled chicken. The fresh fettuccines, linguines, and agnolotti are all outta this world, and one order can easily serve two. Top off your meal with a couple slices, or their loaded pepperoni rolls...you won't regret it!! Also love that they're open late.

Went to this place because of the good reviews and our proximity. Checked it out and we were pleasantly surprised to discover that they’ve won awards for best specialty pizza in the borough and other pizza awards. We tried the Buffalo chicken pizza, margherita pizza, and their famous grandma pizza. Loved the pizza, prices were reasonable, loved the homey down to earth atmosphere, and loved the workers. We saw how well the cashier guy treated his customers and workers and learned how he seemed like someone who has a lot of stories to tell. We didn’t learn until later that we were speaking to Louie himself and that he and his dad were heroes who stopped a couple of muggers after they stabbed and robbed an elderly woman.

Not only is Louie and his father our hometown hero - They continue to pump out consistently GREAT, TASTEY food at reasonable prices. I ordered the Chicken Parm Hero today, and it a bargain considering its size. I am lucky to have them local to me.

The place was amazing. The pizza was amazing. Louie was there working right along with his guys and they were all kind. Louie gave us places to go eat. He was kind and just cool as heck to talk to. He deserves all the tips in the world.

My co-workers put me up on Louies pizza when they bought a few slices and gave me one. So I was hooked soon after. I didn't even realize Louies was there as many times I walked in the area. The whole pie with extra cheese was a meal itself, and I ate two. I like my pizza crust, not hard, but somewhat soft and louies Pizza is right on point and close to my job. It's definitely worth checking out if you are a pizza lover. I don't eat pork. The pepperoni slice was my co-worker.

The counter staff was welcoming, and I was surprised that my double stroller fit inside. It was a convenient location to grab a slice before my doctor's appointment. I enjoyed a cheese slice with red plum juice, and my little pizza connoisseur daughters also enjoyed her slice.

There are not enough words to describe just how special this place is. I started coming here roughly 7 yrs ago, looking for broccoli/veggie pizzza... May seem Like a simple request but very few places do it well. Louie has perfected it. For the most part I've always ordered pizza, until a couple days ago. My friend and I visited and I ordered the salmon...he ordered the chicken parmesan. My salmon was #$%^& mind blowing. It was seasoned perfectly with a lite tomato sauce and came with strings beans that were so fresh, they must be growing behind the restaurant! The chicken parm...well... I was allowed to have a bird bite....and yes it was so delicious my friend would not shut up about it. It's a huge portion and and his greedy self was ready to eat all in one sitting. (It could easily feed 2-3) Besides the amazing food, everyone here is just so sweet. This is the type of place you come as a customer you leave as a friend .This is what local places are about.

So when I tell you that Louie's is an authentic throw back to the pizza places and Italian restaurants I've spent my entire life going to, please believe me! I moved out of New York a couple years ago, Louie's has a lot of fond memories when I used to stop by with my mom. Right down the street, Louie's always manning the station and super easy to talk to. It's about as New York as it gets. I've tried Grandma Pies in 5 different states and 2 countries at this point and nothing compares. Found this place on Google after reading lots of great reviews. Never been to New York so this was the first stop after flying in. Apparently the owner knew we were tourists by the wide eyed looks on our faces! 🤣Immediately he says “Where are you guys from?” Then after a brief conversation about the menu (all while he was helping other customers, cutting pizzas, making boxes, answering phones, taking payment, etc.) he convinced us to order a whole Grandma pizza. This man is a 5 star multi-tasker! We sat down and didn’t wait too long before it was hot and freshly ready. The first bite was scorching hot but we simply could not put it down! The flavor was exquisite! Crispy on bottom, soft on top, light and flavorful toppings. It looks so simple but the flavors packed a punch! We ended up ordering a couple more slices to try other things and all were amazingly delicious! Thanks for the great food! Props to the cooks and owner who keep this place hopping.

He told us some good places to eat in the city, he was an absolutely amazing guy, and made great conversations with us. He seemed to connect with every person that came into his restaurant whether he knew them before or not. And not only was the service absolutely outstanding, but the food was BEYOND AMAZING! The grandma's pizza was to die for! The pepperoni pizza was one of the best I've ever had. I'm not sure what pasta he gave us, and I'm not sure what magic he put in it but it was phenomenal. Best, most consistent grandma slice in Queens. Going to Louie's I can always expect a great slice and not only is it consistent but the flavor is unmatched for what I've found so far on Long Island. If I'm craving pizza I'm going to Louie's. This is one of those places where it doesn't need toppings to make the slice good, it's already very flavorful, but the toppings bring it to the next level. Their service is excellent and calling over the phone is quick, and efficient. My only gripe would be that the checkout area could use a bit more table space to place your box to add seasoning, but other than that, 10/10.

Finally found a great pizza place with no pork! Had grandma slice and it was really good. I usually left the crust but this one is very crunchy I ended up eating the whole thing. One specialty slice was $4.50. Best pizza around the hood, definitely will come back.

It was better than any other pizza. My friend brought it to me and ate a piece, and it was so delicious that I went and packed it up myself. Hawaiian pizza. Light and savory. This is the first time since I came to the United States that I have had pizza that is not salty, not greasy, light and savory. The dough was moderately well cooked and crispy. To me, it was much more delicious than the pizzas that are said to be the top three pizzas in New York. Most customers ate pizza by the slice, and the whole pizza is a family size. Normally, one slice would be enough, but with this pizza, you can enjoy up to two slices. The ham as a topping is not salty and goes well with the cheese, so it doesn't drip with oil when you eat it with your hand. (Other places' pizzas dripped with oil as they cooled) It's light. Anyway. One-line summary. Trust me and try it. It's delicious. I think I'll be hooked for a while.

If you want authentic fresh homemade Italian with large portions at a very reasonable price, this is the place to go. Don't expect to get waited on. However, placing your order at the counter was easy. The seating is basic with diner like seating and a few tables but plenty of space adequate for a small family owned well run restaurant that does non-stop take-out as well. I had the linguine seafood, and it was awesome. A very large, filling bowl with homemade linguine pasta and plenty of seafood. A bargain at $15. We also ordered several other dishes (that were awesome) and a pizza as well. We ended up taking the pizza home it was so large. I highly recommend you try their food. I know it will become one of your New York favorites.

Not very good pizza place... Pizzas take too long and are not worth the wait. I suggest you stay away from here of you want good pizza.
