Establiment was very clean and very welcoming. Perfect to sit down to read or to work on laptop. Barista was really friendly and very effective at communicating especially if he's running a little behind on orders. The little cute stoppers made my day as it's very unique.

The space is cozy and inviting, making it a great spot to work or chat. They’ve stocked their pastry lineup with fresh additions: zucchini muffins, mini carrot loaves, savory scones, blueberry muffins, and much more! Also, Anthoa is very friendly, contributing to the welcoming atmosphere!

Stepping into this coffee shop, you're immediately greeted by a bright, inviting atmosphere that promises a delightful experience. The shelves are thoughtfully stocked with a variety of refreshing drinks, from vibrant orange juices and unique Japanese beverages to elegant bottled water, suggesting a commitment to quality and diverse offerings. Beyond the drinks, the space itself is spacious and inviting, making it perfect for settling in to work or catching up with friends. The attention to detail extends to their branded merchandise, from stylish mugs featuring a distinctive logo to elegant Chemex coffee makers and charming tote bags, all hinting at a serious passion for coffee culture.

Although 'complication' is in their name, but the coffee was simply delicious. The latte I got was rich and smooth. In fact, it was one of the best lattes I've ever had. Definitely gonna stop here next time to try their latte again.

I’ve been working in downtown Brooklyn for over two years, and this spot has seen two coffee shops come and go—until now. This one is different! The renovation alone makes you want to linger—it’s warm, inviting, and thoughtfully designed for both a quick coffee run or a relaxing break. The customer service? A massive upgrade. From the friendly baristas to management, everyone genuinely cares about delivering a great experience. It’s refreshing to be greeted with a smile alongside my go-to Honey Latte! Speaking of drinks, the coffee here is top-notch. If you’re new, I can’t recommend the Honey Latte and Honey Cortado from their secret menu enough—they’re perfection. And don’t get me started on the food! The almond croissant is heavenly, and their new toasted honey ham and cheese croissant sandwich? Pure deliciousness. I can’t wait to see what seasonal drinks they come up with next. This coffee shop is exactly what this space—and the neighborhood—needed. Highly recommend!

So nice, spacious, airy and clean. I totally loved their matcha latte, a croissant was delicious, big and flakey. Not to mention, very well priced, $3.25 for a croissant is a steal in the area. The service was a bit slow and curt, but may be the lady over counter was overwhelmed.

Stopped in here on our way to the train during our visit in town for the holidays. Very cute shop and the staff was pleasant. I got a vanilla latte with almond milk and my boyfriend got an iced cold brew with cream and both our drinks were sooo good. I usually feel like small coffee shops are a hit or miss but we both enjoyed our drinks. I got a pumpkin muffin but didn’t end up eating it but I’m sure it would’ve been delicious too

This side of DT Brooklyn has been in need of a *good* coffee shop for quite some time - so glad they opened up this week! Really friendly staff and nice atmosphere to hang with friends or get work done. The drip coffee was delicious. Will need to come back for a pastry sometime. This will be my go-to in the neighborhood for sure!

Excellent coffee shop with friendly baristas and a welcoming atmosphere. I visited every day during a five-day stay in the area. I did not try any of their pastry options, but they looked excellent. No hot food, but they do have a drink cooler, in addition of course to the full coffee/espresso menu. Coffee was excellent. Service was always fast.

Nice cafe to work. Flat white was good and the pain au chocolate was ok. The cafe and bathroom could be cleaner.

The coffee was okay, but it was a tiny bit overpriced. I guess I was paying extra for the ambiance; if so, it was worth it. The staff was excellent and the store itself was clean, warm, and inviting. I had the blueberry crumb muffin as a side; no complaints there. Great place to relax away from the busy streets and sidewalks, if only for a short while.

I live in the neighborhood and have been wanting to try the place for a while. I went in this morning and ordered an iced flat white and was met with a strange hostility by the cashier. He mansplained to me the difference between a latte, flat white, and cappuccino, and then questioned whether I wanted a latte instead? Luckily the barista stepped in to clarify the ask, but definitely an odd exchange and I sadly won’t return.
