Opiniones de Tre Giovani Albee Square
My absolute favorite Italian restaurant in NYC. I lived around the corner and ate here multiple times a week for six years. The food is excellent, the host Gent is charming, the staff are lovely and the price point is great. Outdoor seating is great for people watching and the indoor atmosphere is romantic. Great wine list and full bar. Enjoy!
I like this Italian restaurant and have been there twice. It’s usually easy to find a table, even without a reservation. For a place in NYC where you can walk in, it’s really nice and serve delicious Italian food.
This was the perfect spot on a snowy evening to tuck away and have amazing food, attentive service and quiet enough for good conversation. Everyone loved their salad and pasta dishes. Very romantic spot for couples.
A special place in an excellent location. Excellent Italian food at reasonable prices and ownership is prsent and attentive to guests. I would highy recommend this restaurant to anyone who is sophisticated enough to realize you do not have to be the most expensive to be at the top of the food chain.
Solid spot near Washington Square Park. It has indoor and outdoor seating and it’s perfect for dates. The food was also good. I had the branzino and it came with a ton of veggies. The mussels were also great! The rest of our table also liked the pasta and salmon. Lots of healthy options!
This is my favorite Italian restaurant in the city. The pasta is always perfectly cooked and the dishes are immaculately consistent. The wait staff is always great, the wine list is fantastic. The mushroom ravioli and the penne rosé are highly recommended. The crab tartare was fabulous! Long live 3 Giovani!
Absolutely magical, wonderful, incredible experience. The decor is lovely - understated and romantic, without being too fussy. The service was top-tier, never waiting for a single refill without feeling overwhelmed. Now, the food - the food was mouthwatering. It was flavorful, simple, luxurious, and fresh. Additionally, not to overstate - this was hands-down the best non-slice pizza I've had in New York. Will return, without a doubt.
Our outside table was elegant, with white tablecloth and fresh roses, not much street noise, and easy on-street parking. The food was fabulous! Best mussels ever--with white wine, fennel, thyme, and crusty bread. The antipasto was delicious. My sweetie had the Burrata pizza and loved it. We had Pana cotta and pistachio gelato for dessert--yum! The excellent servers were nice and just-the-right-amount of attentive. We will be back!
We stopped here on a whim, and had a wonderful time. Morrow was the host and he suggested the one that was good. I had Baratta with vegetables and the cheese was a good quality. My wife had arugula salad. I had the rigatoni with sausage, and it was delicious and my wife had the. Flounder, with roasted potatoes. It’s a real scene because you’re watching people walk by and it’s like watching a TV show to see all the different characters but of course we ate outside. The bathroom is downstairs if that’s a problem for you. All in all the food was good, the service was good, and it was a nice place. I would go here again. I forgot to tell you, but we had fresh fruit for dessert. Much better than a fattening dessert.
A charming hidden gem in Soho/Greenwich Village. I am sooo happy to have stumbled in here one day with friends. The decor is beautiful and the food is delicious. Staff was lovely and attentive. We were grateful to be sat right away. One in our group was in crutches and the manager was so kind to help get us settled at our table. We started with their stuffed squash special and caprese salad- a unique dish and a true classic. We then had their seafood pasta special, margarita pizza (I added red pepper), and their veal parmesan. CHEF’S KISS. They had a solid wine selection (we got a bottle of Gamay) and they make a mean dirty martini ;) We finished with a cheese plate and the panacotta- so good and finally, a nice espresso in the USA. We were a group, but this would be a really great date spot. They have a cool playlist and iconic photos framed. I’m hoping to come in when they have their discoball going. I really feel like I hit the jackpot and almost wanted to keep this treasure for myself!
A quaint Italian restaurant nestled in LaGuardia Place. If you're not looking for the bistro lights and Cafe tables outside, you'd miss it just walking by. But thankfully, they are a neighborhood favorite and on my visit, plenty of regulars were spotted here. It was a solid lunch spot and I'm sure the dinner is even better. Menu of appetizers has a little of everything - cheese plate, fig salad, crabmeat cocktail appetizer and the grilled calamari (which I had and totally recommend), soup, and even eggplant. For Entrees, there's a list of pasta dishes or proteins to choose from. I had a hard time choosing given so many tasty choices. In the end, my waiter made the final decision for me between the two pasta dishes - ravioli de fungi (mushrooms) was the winner (tagliatelle ragu was the second choice). They also serve pizza! I wanted pasta this visit so I'll have to return for that. It looked fantastic from when others ordered it. Waiter was attentive and easy on the eyes. Wink wink
The staff at 3 Giovani work as family, and it’s apparent. I only ordered a glass of wine and an espresso and was treated with utmost care by the GM and Ardit, my waiter. Conversations between friends and loved ones flow freely—it seems a familiar place to many of the patrons here tonight. I drank alone but Tres Giovani, warm, dim, and filled with human din, surrounded me.
I can guarantee about the authenticity of recipes and quality of the ingredients and service. The bread alone was spectacular (it comes from Brooklyn's Regal Crown). $65 for lunch is a little out my budget. (The fish dish below was $30, which is excessive.) A $25 lunch special would have been more reasonable. Still, I'd definitely come over for business lunches.
We arrived at 7:30 PM, were seated right away, and placed our order quickly. Over an hour later, we still hadn’t received anything beyond the complimentary bread. Meanwhile, a table that was seated 20 minutes after us got their full meal, finished eating, and left while we continued to sit there with nothing. Even after asking a server to check on our order, absolutely nothing was done. This was beyond unacceptable. It was disorganized, careless, and disrespectful to paying customers. We ended up walking out hungry and angry. Not sure if it is because we are women of color or students however I felt extremely disappointed. We will never be coming back and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
I have been coming to this place many times throughout college, but after today, I will NEVER step foot in here again. What happened was beyond frustrating, it was downright disrespectful and insulting. We were seated, placed our order, and then sat for over an hour with no food and no acknowledgement while watching a table of men who arrived 20 minutes after us not only get served immediately but finish their meals before we were even checked on. When we finally asked where our food was, nothing was done. The staff continued to serve everyone else around us and ignored us completely. It is humiliating and infuriating to be treated this way. As two women of color, it felt impossible not to notice the difference in treatment. That is unacceptable. This wasn’t just poor service. It was rude, disrespectful, and discriminatory. No paying customer should ever be made to sit hungry and invisible while others who arrived later are prioritized. This place has lost my business FOREVER, and I will make sure others know exactly how they treat people!!!!!!!
