Opiniones de La Barrita Alcorcón
Siempre muy bien!! Precios económicos y grandes bocadillos y bollos.
Recomendado 100%
For work, I'm in all kinds of restaurants and hotels throughout the peninsula and the islands every week, but the coffee and croissants I have for breakfast here on the weekends are incomparable. Not only is everything you order delicious, but also the service they give you. They make you feel at home, even if you've only been there for a short time. My shyness doesn't help, haha, but they always serve you with a smile, even when they're packed, and that's priceless. 100% recommended, you can't go wrong. 100% recommended in my opinion in Madrid. Thanks, team, for the friendly service!
I was passing through the area and asked for breakfast somewhere. I was recommended this place, and it was a great choice. They have very complete breakfasts at good prices, from the basics to breakfasts with healthy toast. By the way, the omelet and avocado toast is spectacular, with freshly squeezed natural juice. I see they also have portions, so I suppose you can eat them. The staff is very friendly and service is quick. I'll definitely come back if I'm in the area again.
Super good service and the waiters are very nice! 😊
Although the place isn't exactly inviting (not that it's unpleasant at all, in my opinion), I trusted the reviews and went in for breakfast. The service was excellent; they clearly have loyal customers they know very well. The coffee was very good, and the toast with Iberian ham was spectacular. You get what you pay for. Coffee and half a loaf with Iberian ham: €4.90
A few years ago, I lived in the area and had breakfast there almost every day. Great service and good products. Today, since I had to be in the area, I took the opportunity to have breakfast there, and it's still just as good. I recommend it.
The cereal toast with Iberian ham was excellent; it wasn't cheap, but it was worth it—you have to pay for quality, otherwise I'd just order Serrano ham. The place was packed, but the service was just right. I'll definitely be back.
Very nice!
I had a beer in a nice place with good service...a good aperitif 🫒 cordial and friendly.
Nice place to hang out with your relatives or friends
We went for breakfast and what a rip-off! Two slices of toast with tomato and ham, two coffees, and a juice, totaling around 20 euros. And it wasn't exactly gourmet quality; it was quite good, but I prefer cheaper options.
Ok
It's a shame what this bar has lost. The service, the snacks... etc. I see a lack of enthusiasm. It's unacceptable that on a public holiday in Madrid and in Alcorcón, not during peak times like dropping the kids off at school, breakfast, or for a snack, there's no terrace set up.
(cafés no desayunos).
Why do they say it’s open when it’s clearly not ???
For some time now, every time I go, and especially not long ago the last time, I receive rude and suspicious attention from the owner and one of the employees, the one with the big black ponytail. I arrive, say good morning, and politely ask if they're going to open the terrace. The owner's rude and defensive response is: "When we can, we'll wait." Then they serve me a café con leche with a glass of ice, spilling a little coffee. By the way, it was very bad, quite watery and tasteless. I religiously paid for it, although next time I won't; you learn from everything. Immediately after, the usual question, "Are you going to eat something?" in an imperative manner, as if scolding you for not spending more, "If I wanted it, I would have asked you before," and to make matters worse, I ask for the price of the coffee and this same waiter, the one with the black ponytail, answers me, "It's as usual," 1.60, in a contemptuous and arrogant manner, to which I reply that I have no reason to remember, and even more so that the coffee is mediocre enough to keep me from coming back. In short, a very bad atmosphere is being created in the hospitality industry in general, due mainly to the crisis and the abusive tax payments that the self-employed are forced to pay, which I empathize with, understand, and agree with, but what I absolutely disagree with is the arrogant and poor treatment of this and many other places. I am not to blame for all these problems. Customers must be treated well, otherwise, they won't return, as is my case here. Barrit@'s response from Adri: If the photos are from approximately a year ago, it is because it is an edited review, whose photos you mention belong to that first edition, which, after editing the review, I wanted to keep.
A lengthy response to the establishment's lie: Nooo, I didn't go to the wrong place. A very cowardly response. Perhaps you didn't make them long enough. Which is appreciated, because they were terrible. .......They've gotten carried away with the prices. It was okay for breakfast. Slow service and average breakfasts, but I liked it for its atmosphere and proximity. They're getting fewer and fewer customers, and that's why; mediocre quality and now prices like you'd find in the main square. I won't be back if they don't fix it. What a shame. By the way, the churros were awful.
I thought it was very expensive. I paid €14.40 for two breakfasts (a small hot chocolate with two churros, and a coffee with toast, tomato, and ham). They didn't give me a receipt, and honestly, I was so stunned that I paid without asking. I'll think twice before going back...
