Really lovely place to come with kids. Delicious food and great choice on the menu. Very kind and friendly service. Definitely worth a visit.
The young staff are excellent in every way and made our experience in smash restaurant more enjoyable . Smash restaurant is located at Val do Lobo tennis academy and at the time of our visit the bar area and toilets were being refurbished.We got to see the refurbished toilets upstairs and they done a fantastic job..Looking forward to seeing the newly refurbished sports bar and swimming pools when we visit again.
What a gorgeous restaurant. Unbelievably great service from Dana and Dilce. Especially great with the kids. Food was incredible, restaurant is beautiful, great ambience and really great value. Can’t wait to come back.

We had a lovely meal at Smash on 13th September 2025. The service was excellent. Everyone we came into contact with were very friendly. The restaurant is very attractive. We cannot understand why there were only a few couples in there. Reading the previous reviews, it seems that “Julia” sent in a couple of shocking reviews which sounded utterly ridiculous. I just hope this hasn’t put people off from coming to this great place.
Great food and good service. Last night, food was being served in the Sports Bar as it was a quiet night. Excellent.
We returned to Vale do Lobo this spring and were excited to try out the new Smash restaurant at the Tennis Center. The remodel is lovely and the food and service exceeded our expectations. I had the spaghetti carbonara and it was PERFECT (I hate soupy carbonara)! My husband had the fish which he also loved. Our condo is just a 3 minute walk away and we will definitely be going back! Highly recommended.
Really lovely restaurant, tastefully designed with a lovely calming atmosphere. I had the steak which was beautifully cooked and tasted great. The service was also excellent.
Food was delicious and at a great value. Our waiter was very friendly and even gave us some tips for how to make our own meals extra tasty
