Always a good day when we go to Angleton Chicken Express, and get to see our favorite drive thru man Tyreek. Always a big smile, and the best personality!! If your hungry, and need a uplift to your day, he does not disappoint!!

So great to see employees having fun while they work! This is the best Chicken Express I've been to. The lady at the drive thru knows what excellent customer service is!!! Thanks forna great experience! We'll be back!

Chicken Express has great food. The cream gravy is killer. Friendly and helpful service too.

We just can't say enough good things about the experience. You absolutely have to experience meeting them for yourself! Don't forget to get those rolls made by the "Best Roll maker this side of Heaven". Lol. If you haven't gotten chicken in awhile, stop in and grab you some today!

One of the BEST experiences we have had going to a Chicken Express! We have been working all day to get a relative moved into their new place and stopped to get food. The workers that were there were absolutely phenomenal. Happy, excited, helpful, absolutely Cheerful and Enthusiastic! They greeted me with a smile, promptly took my order, and ensured that I had everything I needed throughout my meal. Whether dining in or taking out, their dedication to customer satisfaction was evident.Tyrique and DJ were a big help being that this was my first time there ….the food was also fresh and made to order I will be BACK!

3-2-25 Update... stopped in again after another trip that way and guess what??? Carlos was there and what a welcome sight!! Not only was he smiling to help but he had plenty of fried pickles!!! Definitely a 10 star 🌟 experience! Great food as always...but dang they tend to run out of pickle chips.. Carlos is the go to guy thats going to take care of things for you. More places need people like Carlos!!

I had their fried catfish and french fries. Two large catfish fillets cooked well and served burn-your-mouth hot; I suggest letting them cool a bit before you take that first bite. Fish, fries and a drink for around $10

Loved the chicken tenders and gravy. I also loved the fried corn bites. The gravy was good too. The okra was mediocre because it was too chewy. The service here was great and I love the sweet tea here. Also I loved the decor here. They had photos in Angleton from the 1920s. It is always cool to see people back in time and seeing them living different ways than today. I would definitely come to this location again.

my son doesn't like it's chicken strips here they're always fresh and delicious. however I like livers and gizzards and even though they give you many more than you order a lot of times they are not fresh and it's quite obvious.

I had to wait a while on chicken to cook but worth the wait. It was fresh and hot. The staff was extremely polite and friendly. Brought me my drinks while I waited in drive thru and explained the reason for my wait. Very nice. I would recommend for the service alone. Need more nice people like this.

Food was great,Chicken was perfectly crispy, fried okra was perfect, the rolls stole the show. Our order was wrong but they quickly fixed it. Staff was friendly and quick.

Overall a nice place to dine. Have had some lows before so not a 5 yet, but definitely getting there. Absolutely loved Uncle Angel coming out to greet us. Made our day!

Took forever to get waited on and when we did. We ended up not getting the correct stuff. They where to busy giving food to two teenage boys and I never saw them pay for any thing and I watched. 1 boy was bouncing basketball in the restaurant and the workers didn't say anything. Butt when the 2 boys wanted more food they got it and again didn't pay anything

They only got 1 star because it wouldn't let me put none. I grew up eating here in Denton tx 15 years ago. It was amazing so when they opened here me and my wife went there and ate few times. But after today won't be coming back here. Food was cold roll, was cold and hard manager said chicken was dropped 5 mins ago. Everyone knows old chicken from fresh chicken 🐔. Sorry lady yall ruined chicken express. Ill go across the street and eat Popeyes from now on!

People behind the counter were very load and making fun of customers the food was not good the gravy was like water the rolls colds and we didn't get what we had ordered very disappointed with that place I won't be going back

Get there about a quarter to 10 to order some chicken and the lady says"We are out of chicken tenders and it will take 20 minutes to cook some more. We also close in 20 minutes." First of all I didn't ask what time you closed, which her comment came off as being obnoxious. I'm a particular with what I want,so I don't like being redirected to something else that I didn't ask for. If I wanted an alternative I would have asked. Food is good but the training they go through needs to be evaluated.

Awful experience. I went around 9:10PM, they close around 10pm. The doors were already lovked so I had to go to the drive thru. They were out of everything and said that they had already started throwing things out and cleaning up for the night. As I was ordering the last things that they “had available” at the window, the other people in the back kept saying that they were now out of that too. We just had to leave at that point. I dont understand how they would already start closing everything 45 MINUTES before you close. Had to go to the WING STOP across the street

Livers mushy, crust was white as snow. The young worker had a beautiful personality the young female manager very nasty disposition. I travel through here to check on some properties in time pass I have visited this location and have never experienced this before this young lady I have never seen but should not be representing the company with such a nasty attitude. You will find 85% of your business is Word of mouth there are many closed businesses around you based on quality of service! The wrong food was given and she wanted to argue about that.......which I'm allergic too

I stopped eating at this location 5 months ago because they routinely messed up my drive-thru orders. But for some reason, I really wanted their food but didn't want to get out of the car. Once again, the order was wrong. Not only was it wrong the protein was skimpy and over cooked

It's 4 pm today, the chicken tenders are old and cold. The roll was cold, I was very unsatisfied. I called the manager on duty, and she claimed the chicken was fresh only about 5 min old. Clearly this was a lie, I couldn't even chew through the chicken tender. And it was cold, if it was fresh it would still be piping hot....I will not be coming back to this location. Lies, cold old food laziness doesn't get my business, yall head to Raising Canes for your chicken cravings...their chicken is ALWAYS fresh!!

Sunday, September 25 at 4:50 PM, I was about ready to order my normal food, but service was much much much slower than usual. Thank goodness it was. After watching the young man in the back smoking cigarettes. I decided it was best for me to take my business elsewhere.

Received cold fries that were stale. No gravy given on 20 piece strips. Do better!!!!!! Meal sucked

Sadly, customer service is nonexistent at this location anymore. You are treated as a bother and a nuisance. The drive thru employees are the worst. One employee just held her hand out for my card never speaking to me. I then had to ask what my total was after being told to pull around for the total. If it were only a one time situation, possibly understandable. However, its been the experience multiple times now. We haved used them for luncheons and other community events for our nonprofit organization. We will never use them again.

I had to go back inside to get them, they double checked that I paid for them and no apologies for messing the order up or me having to come back inside. The need better staff or management.

Don’t go to this facility if you want good service. They gave me box of chicken which was clearly labeled..customer never picked up.. I drove all the way home, which is not close.. I wound up feeding the entire box to my dog(minus the bones).. the manager stated just come back in and we will fix you a fresh batch for replacement.. I come back I I waited 20 min or more and they told me 15 min.. I told new “ manager, just refund my money. They served about 4 cars of people before I finally went in. The other manager snapped at me saying, well you didn’t have to wait.. if you wanted your money I would have refunded it. I told him that was not given to me as an option.. I don’t like to make scenes and never had to go back anywhere for this reason.. very unprofessional, disrespectful crew.. don’t go here
