Your name will be called when your order is ready & you walk up to the window to pickup your food. Also will receive a text message. - Alcoholic drinks are ordered inside. These are cash only but they have an ATM. Great food, great vibes, great music, great ambiance & dog friendly! Perfect stop on a summer day!

Let me put it this way, we have taken the trip to Rockaway JUST to come here. A legit surf bar complete with board lockers and some of the best fish tacos. Tons of fun, summery mixed drinks, a long list of brews, and a full bar that hits the spot when you need a break from the boardwalk (a five minute walk away). Nothing beats a visit when there’s live music playing. Our latest was post Covid and the vibe was relaxed and super friendly. They checked temps at the door and had a super smooth process for getting everyone a seat. We only waited about 15 minutes in line on a Saturday afternoon. Nice work! Must get: fish tacos.

Awesome tacos, margaritas, vibe and decor! It’s such a beautiful spot and offered delicious food. We enjoyed fish, chorizo tacos and corn cob. Tacos were awesome, 2 is plenty for 1 person! If you’re in the area, this is definitely the place to go!

We heard they had the best fish tacos and so we had to go. We were not disappointed. Amazing place to end a nice day on the beach. Really liked the boho meets cool surf dude themed details. The vibe was great and the food was sooo good (and the margaritas), make sure to take a good mix of the menu. Get here early enough if you want to avoid the line and be lucky to get a seat.

Cute little outdoor taco spot on Rockaway Beach. I ordered the chips and guacamole, black bean & cheese taco, fish taco, and watermelon juice. The prices were good, the fish taco was delicious, the black bean taco was good, and the fresh watermelon juice was amazing (and not too much sugar added). Love the beach vibe decor too! Definitely worth checking out if you are in Rockaway.

Tucked away in a shared space is a taco joint that is making really meaty and flavorful carnitas. The portion sizes are ginormous; I got two orders of tacos which ended up being four tacos. I barely finished and I was starving to begin with. I recommend only getting one order, or getting three orders for two people. I had the fried fish and the carnitas. The carnitas are so good, really tender and meaty. The flavor is really nice; I would probably not put any salsa. The toppings are plentiful as well. Get napkins; the grease from the carnitas will coat your hands like lotion. The fried fish was ok; I would have liked a bit bolder flavor in the fish itself. Then the fish would have stood out just like the carnitas did. Excellent, excellent place. Love the environment of the outdoor food stall area, really reminds me of Texas.

Came here on a whim after a day at the beach. We were kind of surprised how busy it was , all the tables occupied and only free room was standing. It took about 22 minutes for the food to be ready, after ordering by the QR code, on iPhone. Kinda bummed they don’t have any chicken tacos, so I had the vegetarian option instead. The two tacos had black beans, radish, guacamole, and sweet plantains. Good food. Service was good. But the vibe is 20 something and Brooklyn hipsters. Not my scene. And too crowded.

I think 4.4 stars is fair. The place, the people, the atmosphere, and the fact that it is pet-friendly are great. Those are not the best tacos you have ever eaten, but they were good and kept me full since the portions were big.

Nice spot to stop in. Parking is street side. Nice selection of tacos and drinks. The bar is cash only with an atm nearby (2.50 charge). The juices were a bit watered down. Chorizo taco needed more flavor. Nice ambience and spaces to eat (all outside for the summer). Worth trying out if you’re in the neighborhood

I picked this place because the name was such a cute pun and the food did not disappoint. Really fantastic tacos, very fresh and flavorful! We enjoyed the fish tacos most, the amount of fish was great. The pineapple mint juice was also fantastic, you can absolutely tell they’re using real, fresh pineapple. The pine drink was also very unique and enjoyable. My only small critical note is that on a really hot summer day, some of the tables in the back could really use some sun coverage. People were waiting for tables under the shade to open up since the wood was getting so hot it was a little uncomfortable to sit on at first. Nevertheless, food and drinks are great, and the beach vibe is strong! I would absolutely go back.

I deducted a star because I’ve recently had better fish tacos but I’ve always loved this place. I’ve been going every other summer since 2015, I’m happy they’re so busy but it really takes away from the experience how hectic it gets. There is someone that unofficially helps you get a table but be SURE to order the food ahead of time on their website. It’s usually a 30-45 min wait for the food. I had two fish tacos and I liked them but again that same week I had fish tacos else where and it just stayed with me. I’m not sure if I’ll return because it was overstimulating experience. I also didn’t understand how we had to wait another 45 mins just for some chips and salsa. I get it but also don’t. I hope that they can expand their menu in the future and maybe open up an actual full year restaurant.

The food was AWESOME. I had pickled veggies and tacos — everything was just superb. Fresh food and super tasty and super affordable! The bartender was quite odd - I felt like I was annoying him for a drink even though it was a weekday during the day and was empty inside. Bar is cash only as an FYI but if you decide to go to the beach — I DEFINITELY recommend going! The manager (or owner?) is SO nice too. I was by myself and he made me feel very welcomed!

Good spot to grab food after a day at the beach. I went on a Wednesday evening around 5:30 and it was no line and not crowded. The fish tacos were really good. I have service a few stars because they didn’t have a hostess or any restaurant staff around. I wanted iced water because it was a hot day, but they only had a water fountain. Overall, the tacos were good & the location was a short walk from the beach
