The irony is that I passed by this place numerous times and knew of its existence but was completely unaware of the excellent character and quality of their food and service, until this past week when I walked by and decided on the spot to have my dinner there. I have had some of the Best Burgers in New York City and dare I say it the Northeast United States. Who isn't always looking for a uniquely flavorful and tasty burger? What I got at Burger Club in Astoria was a memorable dining experience. I ate alone and so the focus was exclusively on the food and service. My Bacon Cheddar Burger was beyond delicious. They do not just have excellent burgers. I highly recommend the Buffalo Wings which were among the BEST WINGS I have ever eaten. They were prepared differently than the famed Anchor Bar in Buffalo where Buffalo Wings originated. Burger Club's Wings were made from excellent quality chicken. Each wing had a healthy amount of meat on the bone. The spice was Buffalo but also a little peppery and smokey tinge to it; almost like a BBQ Wing. They had absolutely the right kind of FIRE in each bite. They awakened my spirit without completely debilitating it. They had several choices of Fries. I had the Fresh Cut Fries but am dying next to try the Braised Short Rib Fries which I witnessed a young couple devouring with pleasure and over hearing their commentary only made me want to order them as well but the portions were quite hearty and I could not even finish what I ordered but had to take it home. I have to remark that I had a genuinely highly attentive server who was incredibly gracious as well. I highly recommend Burger Club. If you go by Burger Club make it a point to grab a menu so you can even order from home which is what I plan to do again in the very near term. Better yet, if you like someone, take them there.

Love this place. Depending on what you get, you can either come here and get a normal delicious burger. Or you can step out of your comfort zone into a whole new world. The flavor combinations are interesting and exquisite. I got a breakfast burger and a burger loaded with buffalo sauce, onion rings, and and jalapeños (I forget what it is called) when I came. And they were awesome. The fries were average and nothing spectacular, but still classic and delicious. The speed of service is excellent and they cater well to your needs. If you have time to sit down and enjoy a burger, come here.

Best burger I've ever had (that says a lot) I recommend the "Fried Mac and Cheese Birger" no sause. Service was fast and i was in and out within 40 minutes.

Nice burger place, meat was juicy and cooked as requested. Hand cut fries are actual hand cut fries, the bund was toasted and fluffy, really nothing off about those Burgers. Haven't try all the drink menu, they have a few draft beer and that was enough for us Added bonus they have high chair for babies and for a Saturday lunch the indoor music was nice, not overly loud and service impeccable. Absolute banger of a burger with some perfectly cooked onion rings. They cooked exactly how I asked and the aioli on top added some excellent flavor and a tiny bit of heat.

Ordered the French dip burger and a banana chocolate shake. Burger was really good, the mushrooms and onion strings with the au jus was so flavorful. The milkshake tasted like a chocolate covered banana, exactly what I was craving. The rest of my party enjoyed their meals as well.

I came in for a fast bite between meetings. This is a sit down place with table service but they are very fast. I got the classic with no fries, I asked for tomato slices and they accommodated me very nicely. Servers were friendly the bus boys were fast. The burger was thick, juicy, and seasoned perfectly. I will be coming back. They accept credit and debit cards.

My family had the best burgers thus far. My husband is a huge burger lover, so we have tried soooo many burger joints. If you aren't worried about the calories...get the double smash burger with double bacon. The bacon jam is remarkable. I have no photos of our burgers because we inhaled them lol I have tried both the Bison burger and the firecracker burger. Both absolutely delicious. Short rib fries.... so good! I paired it with their homemade BBQ sauce and it was perfection My son who lives off of peanut butter and air said his burger (plain burger) was the best he ever had. I am ecstatic when we ALL eat and enjoy our food! Will 100% be coming back!!

I had their California Burger cooked medium w/ a winter IPA and waffle fries (amazing fries!!). The burger was out of this world, one you can eat slow and relish in every bite. The Chipotle mayo (maybe called something else) was so good with the fries. My server was kind and on top of everything. This was my first time there, and I had a great overall experience! The only thing I didn't like was the shared wooden bench. It was a little rickety, and I felt every vibration of the person behind me. Nevertheless, it was easy to overlook :) Edit: avoid this place during the day. Their food and service will leave a bad of taste in your mouth.

The team at Burger Club was amazing. Had a last minute switch up and needed a place that can seat 11 people for my nephew's birthday and the team was amazing. Service on point. I had the three cheese burger and it was delicious. My friend's had the Smash Burger and also a vegan burger and everyone loved their burgers, my nephew ended up having two burgers. They have beers on tap with a good selection of draft to accommodate everyone.

I had a really good experience at Burger Club. My server, Ariana was awesome super friendly and on point the whole time. She kept my water refilled without me even having to ask and checked in just enough without hovering. Her backup, MJ, was great too and jumped in whenever we needed something. You could tell they were really working as a team. Service felt relaxed but very attentive. I’d definitely come back because of them.

Let me tell you I have had burgers all throughout my life. I live for a good burger…. But never did I truly have a good burger until Burger Club. It’s taken me a year to write a review thinking that one of these days Burger Club would disappoint but it has stood the test of time. Burger club is victorious. The burger stays hot from beginning till the end. The bun does not get soggy, even if you take your time and let the burger sit in between bites. You can take a half eaten burger home and reheat it the next day in the microwave and It will still taste amazing and fresh. How is this possible? What is inside this 11 dollar smash burger? I literally do not want to have a burger anywhere else because I know I will be thoroughly disappointed. I’ve gone and eaten burgers since Burger Club and each time I go to take my first bite I know that a better quality burger is sitting on someone else’s plate right this moment. My family absolutely loved this restaurant, and then it became our favorite over a weekend. We have been going here because the burgers are great (and affordable) and the wings are the best we’ve had in the city. One day we were eating there and our new born daughter needed a diaper change. My wife was making her way to the bathroom, but the owners mother was so kind and let her know there was no changing table, but showed her a private area where she could her. We ended up having a nice chat with her. A couple days later my wife and I were on our first date since our baby had been born and decided to finish the night with some beers at Burger Club. We ended up ordering six beers. The owner came out and served us, and we chatted with him. When I went to pay, he took care of our entire tab! I was floored, it was so nice and unnecessary. The next day I brought my entire family (mom, siblings, nieces, nephews) who were in town visiting for my daughters baptism because I wanted to support the business and they continued to be so kind and generous throughout the entire meal (despite the fact we had an unruly mob of kids). Point is, this place has great food but beyond that it’s old school and knows what real hospitality is. I will gladly keep coming back.

This is the best burger I have had in a very long time. I had the “Breakfast Burger”. The last time I had a burger this good I was in Virginia near Shenandoah University. The service here was quick and friendly and once ordered the burgers came out very fast. Thank you for the amazing burger. Can’t wait to visit again.

The smash burger was juicy and full of flavor. Not too excited about the bun though. The Hand-cut fries were thick and hot with a perfect garlic aioli dip. Also had the fried mozzarella fritters they are fresh mozzarella breaded balls with a good pull. Those were my favorite. Hands down the vanilla milkshake paired great with those hand-cut fries. The atmosphere is pleasant. The staff was so friendly and attentive. I would definitely return again.

Just got back from Burger Club, and we all went for the 30-day aged burger with a side of onion rings. Seriously worth it! The burger was incredibly flavorful, and the portion was so generous we were absolutely stuffed afterward. Their draft beers were a nice touch too. First and foremost, Nathalya was our server. She was high spirited, energetic, **welcoming** (👏🏾), professional, and very helpful and attentive from when we sat down. She was up and down the restaurant treating everyone with attention and seems like a great person. Thank you Nathalya! Maggie, I'm assuming the manager(?), was constantly walking and tending the tables. She explained things well and seems like a no-nonsense yet sweet person. She served me a HUGE slice of chocolate cake with ice cream (which I recommend). Thanks Maggie! Now to the review. The restaurant seems small but has ample seating. Some chairs are super comfortable with padding and then there are wooden chairs and benches. All were very clean and placed in areas where I suspect even with the din of others conversations you can still hear your friend (or more people in your party) speak. Or just your own thoughts. The ambiance was inviting. No drafts! The entrance is reinforced with a foyer to buffer the cold. Definitely a great touch. The lighting is....warm and cool. Bright enough to see the juices of the burgers ooze as you bite them but not overwhelming. Overall I nice evening spot to get a good burger. The food was amazing. I eat burgers. It's my thing. And I'd say I would come here again. The portions are big, ingredients are fresh, condiments are tasty and the burger meat is sourced from healthy and certified farms. The meat tasted very fresh. I had the smash burger. Admittedly in my top 5 smash burger spots. The waffle fries were good as well as onion rings. The bathroom was also very clean for a burger joint. A nice touch 👌🏾 Overall it's a great burger spot. Please keep it up. You guys have a permanent customer.

I recently visited a restaurant that had been highly recommended to me for quite some time. This was my first experience at the establishment, and I ordered the Medium Rare Burger Club Classic and the Beyond Burger. I had high expectations for these burgers, and I must say, they exceeded my every anticipation. From the very first bite, the richness of the meat was evident. I could feel the juiciness and the perfect level of doneness that made the experience truly delightful. The seasoning of the meat was spot on, enhancing the overall flavor beautifully. The only suggestion I would like to offer is that if the hand-cut fries could be a bit crispier, it would elevate the dining experience to an outstanding level. Overall, it was an exceptional meal, and I look forward to returning.

Guys, I love your place so so much. The burgers are the best in the area. The service is very good. But, you absolutely cannot work with customer’s claim. If customer assumes that beer is getting spoiled, please don’t say: “oh it cannot be, we have more than a half of keg yet”. Just promise to check and take care of it. That’s it. Thanks.

I've walked by this place many times and finally decided to try it, and it didn't disappoint. The burger was right where I want it (medium), juicy, tasty and ginormous. Fries are excellent, too. Their beer selection is somewhat limited but for a pure burger experience, this is top notch. Have outside seating too so great for summer time.

The wait staff are courteous and patient. On a nice day, the windows are open all owing for an almost outdoor seating atmosphere. Had a double smash burger and fries. For a place that doesn't specialize in this style of burger, they made a decent go at it. I'm a salt fiend and found the burger to be too salty. (better than no seasoning.) Bun sliced an inch higher would have allowed the grease and onions to have a place to go. Fries were fresh. Service was spot on. I wanted for nothing and love that the silverware and condiments were already on the table. Would return to try a regular burger.

Great neighborhood joint with Solid burgers that won't break the bank

I like this place and I've eaten here a couple of times. The restaurant is conveniently located on the corner lot and only one block from the train. The front is misleading because the restaurant is actually on the smaller side. Most times it can get very busy. The decor is fun with retracting garage door walls on two sides. During warmer months it's pushed all the way up so you have the indoor/outdoor experience. Unfortunately, it can get warm inside since the air conditioning isn't cranked up all the way when the walls are opened. We ordered the crab and shrimp burger with fried egg and a side of waffle fries. The crab and shrimp burger was okay. It was tasty but fell apart after two bites. Very messy to eat and the fried egg was a little overcooked. This was one of the pricier items on the menu and I'm not sure I would order this again. We also ordered the California wrap with sweet potato fries. The wrap was very good, tasted fresh and healthy with the available slices. The sweet potato fries were fantastic. Highly recommend getting this over the regular fires. I noticed lots of families with small kids dining here the last time I went but it was already kinda loud in the restaurant, so their ruckus wasn't noticeable. Surprisingly, it can get very loud inside. The last time we went was on a Wednesday for lunch and they already had a good sized crowd. Their menu is fairly extensive and I will definitely be back to try some other items.

While driving around, Burger Club caught our eye and after a quick search, we decided to dine-in. The decor and vibes is rustic and casual, there were a couple of tables for outdoor dining but we opted to dine inside. Service was great, attentive and friendly despite it being a busy Sunday afternoon. The double smash burger was great with the sauce. It was juicy and flavorful and so was the bun which was buttery. The fries was good as well, but a lot of throw away burnt pieces. Overall, Burger Club is a good burger spot with great service.

The burger has good presentation, the ambiance is nice, the service is excellent but the burger was not as good as it looked. My sister had a vanilla shake and she told me it just tasted like milk with ice. Both of our burgers were overcooked.

Just average. There’s so many better burger joints that are cheaper with better atmospheres. I’d definitely skip on this place. Meat was dry. Ordered medium to prevent this, got medium well. But I could tell, just the mix of meat they use, it’d still be dry-ish at a medium. Fries were good but just too expensive for the all around quality. I wouldn’t go back.

The vibe and service are just fine but the food is unfortunately mid. I tried this spot twice, tried a burger on one occasion and a chicken sandwich on another. Both sandwiches lacked flavor and I regret giving them a second chance. I didn’t even finish the sandwich the second time so it felt like a waste of money. Also, I ordered sweet potato fries the second time and they gave me waffle fries—it was a to go order so I didn’t check until I got home. I don’t think I’ll be going back here again.

This review is only for the Vegetarian options on the menu. First impression on the restaurant were that it is quite roomy & inviting. We were seated & it was time to order. My wife asked what one of the burgers contained & the waitress was quite rude in her tone...stating there are a lot of ingredients & i can go ask the chef in detail. Not a good way to start. Anyway I ordered the friend veggie burger with waffle fries. My wife ordered mac & cheese with a veggie burger on top & we ordered a mozzarella & pesto panini for our son. My burger was a little sweet. The mac & cheese was below average & the diced veggie burger on top was excessively salty. The panini didn't have fresh mozzarella (like a real caprese panini should) & the pesto didn't have good flavor. The worst part was the after taste of cheap & over used oil after eating the fries. Clearly Bareburger this place is not. Quality is clearly lacking. I decline the membership to this club....😕.

This was a new restaurant to me and I’ve never tried their food before, but I was craving a burger that day. I walked in and this guy was starting to take my order but then passed it off to this other semi-nice middle aged lady. I ordered 1 Double Bacon Jam to-go, waited 15-minutes, and then about 1 hour and 20 mins later, I finally ate it at home. It tasted nice at first, until the next day (Saturday), I woke up with diarrhea, shivers, and then feeling warm/feverish. This was the only food from outside that I ate that day with everything else eaten at home, so clearly it must’ve been this burger that had caused my food poisoning. My symptoms of shivers and fever lasted for 2 more days, and right now (1 week later), my poop still isn’t 100% solid because my digestive system is still recovering from this food poisoning.

The woman with glasses who works here is extremely rude. I've been to this restaurant many times, but I never want to come back again. Truly disrespectful. Her awful attitude toward customers was so bad. If you want to enjoy good food in a pleasant atmosphere, you should avoid this place!!!

This place is horrible. I ordered from DoorDash and they had the option for well done and i even asked for well done in the notes… clearly they don't follow instructions or just don’t know how to make burgers. I was really looking forward to eating their burger too because they had so many reviews. Never again.

Staff is rude and inattentive, food came out very late, one of our appetizers was forgotten, the orders were messed up and we were made to pay an extra dollar for dressing on the salad. This is the second time our orders have been messed up in this manner. We have been coming to this location for years and will never be back.

I used to love this place. But last couple times I’m getting really bad service. Ordered 2 times well done burger (because my fiance is pregnant) and we are getting medium rare!!!!
