Had a 'dinner' of appetizers here with the family. Something for everyone-from the vegan, the vegetarian, to the carnivores. We enjoyed the fava beans dish, loved the liver and sweet reads, and the meatballs. Atmosphere was quiet, and the spot is small, so for a larger group-we we're 5 people, I'd make a reservation. Food came out super fast, and the staff was very friendly. Next time we will try the dishes.

So delicious. Super low key place, no frills. Came on a random Tuesday and while the place was somewhat empty, it was super cozy and inviting. Got the grilled octopus and souvlaki chicken plate with fries and salad. Staff was nice too and at the end of the meal we got a tiny piece of cake dessert that would pair well with coffee. Would definitely come back.

Hidden gem in Astoria. Gregory’s 26 Corner Taverna has a reasonable menu. The service is always great with plenty of food to share when you order one entree. The photo I am posting was my takeout Greek Salad with grilled chicken. I also had one pork souvlaki stick. Both meats are very tender and flavorful. The salad is loaded with tomatoes, feta , onions , peppers . Bottom line- great choice for excellent Greek cuisine done in or take out.

Amazing Greek food and the restaurant is super family style. We really enjoyed the outdoor patio seating and the service was amazing. Food was delicious and we loved the prices! The restaurant prefers cash payment so definitely be prepared (saves you the credit card fee too). Definitely recommend anyone in the area.

There is nothing I don't love about this place. Friendly service, amazing, food, great atmosphere at a reasonable price! The eggplant and zucchini with scoliola is fantastic! The fried in honey with fresh lemon is also wonderful. I highly recommend them.

1. When you walk in, the hostesses are amazing and very welcoming. 2. The atmosphere is warm and you can see everyone genuinely smiling throughout the entire restaurant. 3. And lastly, the food... simply magnificent. Reasonably priced, and absolutely finger licking delicious. Ordered take out this time, but will definitely be coming back to actually sit down and eat. THE best Greek restaurant in NYC thus far.

Gregory's Taverna is probably the best Greek food of its class in Astoria... which pretty much means NYC and maybe even the US. They offer traditional Greek fare you would find visiting Greece outside the tourist spots. Eating the food took me back to summer vacations in Greece when we would hit all the spots my family there would rave about. The atmosphere is cozy and has a classic feel to it, so great spot for a relaxing lunch or date night.

This is a very small and intimate place but can be very loud when full. The food is delicious and well made and the staff very friendly, helpful and courteous. We were a big group here to celebrate a friend’s birthday.

Very friendly and warm environment. We got a easy Street parking. Good food with good service. Will suggest grilled liver and lemon potato. The grilled baby shark was like any other big fish, my expectations were a little bit different what I ate. Overall good experience.

A bit disappointed….walked in… service was excellent but food was not good… calamari was undercooked, souvlaki plate was great as amount of food but souvlaki were completely fried and tasted like a KFC. Actually KFC is less greasy compared to that souvlaki.. Overall.. i will not gave it a second chance!
